Syed's a synonim for hurt in Christian's life. I'm sick of Amira and this baby whatshername and all this manipulation, and yes, I'm tired of all Syed's mess, being his fault or not I just don't care. I want Christian happy with somebody else, somebody cool, and Syed out of his life in Pakistan or wherever with whomever. I think Christian's had enough. He deserves better.

Yell Syed is letting Amira control him he's just to stupid to know it. He's gets mad at Christian for pointing out what she's doing, he's a weak man. I love them together but Syed makes me so mad sometimes. I'm glad he will see Christian with a one night stand like the spoiler stated.

I don't like how the show is trying to make Amira look bad. Now Syed convinces Amira's father to try to get her to have a divorce. And does Syed care about his daughter Yasmin? Obviously not it seems Syed is a total flake.
I think Amira should more on from Syed but I can understand why she is so angry at him and I don't blame her. Syed is gay he married a woman and had a child with her. How is Amira supposed to feel happy that he gay husband lied to her? What is Amira supposed to do now she's a Muslim woman. Amira will be blamed and feel the shame from the Muslim community. Syed and Christian deserve each other they are both liars and snakes! I just feel nothing for Syed to be honest I don't feel sorry for him. The BBC have made Syed such a disgusting and negative character.

I agree Syed was wrong very wrong for marrying Amira when he knew he was gay. But you have to but some of blame on his mom he told her and he didn't want to go thur with the wedding, but his mom made him. She was thinking about how she would look and caring nothing about Syed feelings. Syed is a weak man and sometimes he makes me so mad but we have to understand this is a soap and in soapland things are crazy and taken to a whole another level for drama.

Where are the new spoilers? I don't think Christian and Syed are going to be on for a couple weeks (random point to take a break in their storyline, no?), so no spoilers. The spoilers are mostly about Tamwar and Afia, and Jane.

Ya, but we barely ever get to see moments between them anymore. Even their reunion was mostly a let's-get-rid-of-amira scene. I enjoyed the amira/christian confrontation later though. Christian was right on target with just the perfect amount of sass

I'm confused. Is Christian no longer working at Bashers'? Does he and Syed take turns at the stall, doesn't Christian run his own business too?

I mean they barely exist on this show anymore so it's not really clear. Apparently the actors filmed together recently tho, so we might get a small update on them, but I'm not expecting much tbh

Whilst I'm happy that Chryed will finally be getting a new storyline (and therefore lots of screentime too hopefully!!), I cannot say I'm thrilled at the idea of a love triangle. The EastEnders writers have no imagination. Why must couples always be cheating on each other? Half the Square are having, or have had, affairs at some point. Now we have the possibility of Chryed joining that club. Whoopee . Also wasn't the awful Chryed/Amira storyline billed as a 'love triangle' by the writers? So essentially we are rehashing storylines now. Joy .

I'm glad to see Chryed finally getting a story again, but I'm a little annoyed they are going to have a triangle yet again. Can we please not do something new for a few months?

Is it wrong that I am thinking 'Bring it on!'?? And Gary Lucy as well!! Interesting.
It's becoming increasingly difficult to stay invested in Christian and Syed.
They don't get enough screen time, they never seem to get a story line outside of the Masoods and all they do when they're on screen is squabble.
It reminds me a bit of Nuke towards the end: I dreaded their appearances because each time they came on it diminished what they had once been and the good bits receded further and further into the past.
When things get this stale there's so little incentive for actors not to just phone it in every week.
And while plenty of folks may not feel the same, Nuke were utterly reanimated for me by the love triangle storyline.
I just hope it's Syed who gets tempted and not Christian because I really don't think I can take yet another turn of Christian the aging slapper and Syed the uptight sanctimonious bore.

I agree Urban Sprawl, i don't mind a good love triangle story for Seyd and Chris, it's been a while since they had own storyline or much screen-time,so i'm all for it as well and yes i want too Seyd to be tempted this time

For me personally, it irritates me as an Eastenders fan more than a Chryed fan. Because whilst Eastenders is my favourite soap, I am irritated by the writers default setting of 'affair' or 'love triangle' for any couple they are struggling to come up with storylines for. They've ruined many classic couples by doing this (Kat and Alfie are two of the most recent victims!). I just find it lazy and unimaginative.... Perhaps if I was watching for Chryed and only Chryed, I'd think 'yay screentime' and 'yay drama' but as a viewer of the show in it's entiriety, I'm thinking 'not another love triangle'. . However, having said that, I will be significantly more interested in this storyline if Syed is the one who Gary Lucy's character is interested in, because Syed doesn't have any friends or rarely interacts with anyone other than Christian or his family, which is a bit sad when you think about it! And I am really not interested in the marriage and baby obsession that Chryed (mainly Christian!) seem to have. I think it will be interesting to see how he deals with the attentions of another man.

Well, I'm glad that the love triangle is with another out gay male character. I just wish that the show would have kept some mystery behind Gary Lucy's character on the show and his purpose.
I understand that they need to put out spoilers and capitalize on Gary Lucy's name and history on soaps/dramas, but they could have kept the character's ties to Christian and Syed under wraps until after a couple of weeks of being on the show.

I'm just glad that they will have a storyline. IMO, they haven't had one since last year, because they really didn't do anything with Amira.
I just hope it's Syed who gets tempted and not Christian because I really don't think I can take yet another turn of Christian the aging slapper and Syed the uptight sanctimonious bore.
Yes, please. I wish wish that there was a like button for your entire post.
Syed needs something to do. Something that will explain his existence other than just being Christian's boyfriend.
Soaps are about relationships, so even though love triangles are a cheap way to go, they do make sense. Soaps are about drama, and there's not a lot of drama that can be mined from a happy couple.
