Yoli: No way. I'm sure he must be smoking a whole truckload of joints with Román. It's the only thing he's able to do lately.
Fer: Well, Yoli, maybe, he needed to go away and put some distance between himself and me. Fuck, he even changed flat, Yoli.
Yoli: I won't give up. Fer, you're my best friend, and I haven't forgotten you. I will not let anyone do so.

A couple of things about chapter 77, now in the editing room, thanks to Quintas' tweets. The final sequence is described as a "giant puzzle" and it is over 9 minutes long.





It seems the editing process will continue almost all the way to the day of broadcast, June 13.

Furthermore, it is confirmed that basically the writers have attempted to condense what had originally been written for the last three chapters of Season 7, i.e. 77, 78 & 79, into the chapter 77 we'll see in a little more than a week. In other words, tomorrow's chapter 76 which is the last big FerVid chapter, has been pretty much left untouched.

Chapter 77: Maturity

"Daniela's thirst for revenge, after Teresa has snubbed her for Román, will lead her to want to cause the greatest possible harm to the couple. But things will take an unexpected turn, when Daniela finds out by chance that Enrique has finally bought the school and is planning to raze it to the ground, to then develop the property, something which is due to occur within two weeks, unless someone stops him.

Daniela will immediately sound the alarm, and the whole Zurbarán will rise up in arms against Enrique, with Yoli and Olimpia leading the revolt. The latter, who thought she had finally managed getting closer to him, will take it as something personal, and with Sara's help, she will suggest a general strike, that will concern the students as well the teachers."

We also know that Sara will pay for her involvement. Enrique, I guess, will turn her in to immigration, claiming her marriage to Vaquero was phony and just meant to allow her to work in Spain.

Chapter 77 (7x07) : Maturity

Daniela will immediately sound the alarm, and the whole Zurbarán will rise up in arms against Enrique, with Yoli and Olimpia leading the revolt. All our protagonists will decide to stay and sleep in the Zurbarán to step up pressure on Enrique, as he will try by all means to prevent the strike from going public, for fear his buyer should renege on his commitment.

Sara will be one of the main ringleaders of the strike, which will make her and Xavi grow even further apart, as he doesn't share his girlfriend's revolutionary impulses. The gap will become unbridgeable for both, and they will end up acknowledging that whom they really want to be with is, respectively, Vaquero and Verónica.

But things won't be easy, Verónica doesn't seem very keen on the hard work involved in beginning a relationship. And things will get even more complicated for Sara, when immigration officers find out her marriage is a sham... and decide to have her deported to Argentina.

Things between David and Jon will continue red hot, and having to share the same space 24 hours a day won't make it easier. Jon will end up making a desperate decision to obtain David's forgiveness... even if doing so puts his physical integrity at risk.

Things won't be easy for Álvaro either, he will decide to get Alma out of prostitution, at any cost... even if it means hurting the person he loves most.

On a different front, Teresa and Román will become even closer, and Román's new job as a photographer will be what will finally trigger confessions from both as to what they feel for each other.

In this race against the clock to save the Zurbarán, all those conflicts will be exploding one after the other, leading the characters to make drastic decisions that will impact their future for ever.

Will they be able to save the Zurbarán? Or will these be the final days of school for all of them?"

In the videochat with Lucía Ramos and Andrea Duro, earlier this evening, there were a couple of things said about the upcoming finale that can be placed in the category of spoilers. It was a bit weird to see both actresses and Jonathan be so fussy about what to say or not to say about which characters return, when the teaser shown on the channel already gives quite a lot of info, not to mention the tweets by Quintas and the others. Weird too, as in surrealistic, was that the whole videochat was sponsored by Nivea, so that the blessed ad was playing in a loop on the screen behind them, and Jonathan read out the slogan at the start, style American radio announcer in the 50s. ;D

- the finale will not be similar to that of Los Serrano, with the final revelation that the whole thing was a dream by one of the characters. (Apparently there have been quite a few posts hoping/guessing that the last three episodes would turn out to have been a nightmare by David )

- the finale will leave the fate of the school an open question, thus keeping the possibility of a future for the show on Neox. But this is at best for now extremely vague and uncertain.

Both actresses and Jonathan were extremely emphatic in praising Víctor Palmero and Adrián Rodríguez for their acting skills. Everybody cried like fountains watching the final sequences of 75 and 76.

Other than that, it seems very likely that there will be a videochat with Javier Quintas next week (after his very own chapter 77 airs). Let's hope there is another one planned. This is the one I mean:

So, weird things are happening. I'll return to this surprise announcement (and shoot) later. But I just want to point out another surprise, which is the resurrection, in extremis, of last season's webisodes! Just posted at the official website a clip which was not part of 76, and which apparently will not be part of 77. It shows Daniela's thirst for revenge (against Teresa and Román)

We didn't see on TV, but we got the pictures of Daniela viewing the footage from the hard disk she stole from Verónica's purse in Arturo's car: they show Román dealing drugs to Xavi.

We didn't see it in the episode, but Daniela viewed the disk's content on one of the library's computers. There, in the company of a friend, she finds out about the "dirty business" going on between Román and Xavi.

I suppose no one needs me to translate Daniela's one word of dialogue. ;D

This looks like it should have been the cliffhanger for 76 (it's sort of an echo to the cliffhanger for 72). I wonder if it means 76 and thus 77 too went overtime. Quintas was asked whether 77 might not be longer than the typical 80 minutes a FoQ chapter runs. I don't think he gave a clear answer to that question.

"Enrique is moving forward with his plan. He now owns the school and seems set on selling it so that the grounds can be redeveloped. Does this mean the Zurbarán will close forever?

On another front, David blames Jon for Fer's death and ends up punching him in the face.

Verónica confesses to Xavi she was in love with him, even though now she doesn't care because she assumes he's with Sara. But at the same time, we see Sara who tells Xavi she doesn't love him.

Teresa poses for Román as a model for his photos, and they end up having a fling

Problems for Vaquero and Sara since some inspectors want to ascertain the veracity of their marriage, after Olimpia points out Xavi as Sara's current boyfriend.

Álvaro films Alma as she is dancing in the Rodeo Bar and it seems he passes out pictures.

Enrique kisses Olimpia but he's still set in selling the Zurbarán.

They all find out about Enrique's strategy and they chain themselves up inside the school, chanting, "We won't be moved out of the Zurbarán"

Will Enrique succeed in selling the school?

What will happen to Álvaro after we see him swoon?

Will Sara be in trouble and will she be deported?"

Not much new, except that in the captions to the photos there is a strange confusion between the actors' names and their characters'. Which reflects a mix of production stills and behind-the-scenes images (some include director Javier Quintas at work)

who is very wise about the life of his character after FoQ: "a completely different situation, Félix has quit teaching and he's doing other things, I think he's set up a hair salon or something, probably in Asturias" ;D More seriously, he explains that Carlos Navarro Bastelleros, director and executive producer, called him up to invite him, and even though he's currently starring and shooting in another Antena 3 series, Dr Mateo, it was possible to manage it schedulewise. He is sad it's ending as he's still a fan , but has a very positive outlook as to the chances of this being reborn, one way or another.

who has a clear idea of what her character must have done after that mess of a non-marriage: she flew to New York, and worked in a daycare center. She had a fling with Leroy, an African-American teacher, but it didn't really work out, so she came back to Madrid, decided to call up Berto to meet for coffee. She dyed her hair red, so that she had all the chances on her side ;D and well, that was it, they're now together.
