All right let me be the first to break in  There wasn't too much action between Fer and David, but its all understandable since Fer was dissapointed in what David did to Ruth, and I hope that he don't mean what he said to David. The advance for next episode had Ruth fainting!! Before jumping to stupid conclusions, what has been the time span between episode 6 and today's?, like probably one week, so that would definitely rule out the possibility of Ruth being pregnant of David... although if she is... it might be Gorka's? Also it was kinda good to hear David acknowledging that he is gay. |

I think Ruth has an eating disorder. She has been making herself throw up and stuff so I think that's what the fainting is about.

Let's just hope and pray. Pregnant Ruth is just not a good idea and I would hope she and David would be smart enough to use contraception. I can't tell if she's even had sex with David or if Fer has either. It's unclear.

When Fer and David kissed in the changing room, that was the day David approached Ruth for a beard, then it was the bathroom holding hands scene that happened on the next day along with the book scene, then it was the party where they kissed on the bed and Gorka caught them, they said "yesterday" in reference to the book. So, this has to be a week at the most, so her being pregnant of David I think could be ruled out. Anyone can confirm? |

The first thing I thought is what darcolover55 points out, that Ruth's eating disorder which seemed to have "disappear" when she met David, now starts again and her health will be affected. The fact that David is not in the preview really made me wonder if this is the end of him on the show but it'd not make any sense.. why the hell do you bring and start to develop a character and a relationship to end it in four episodes? It'd be so pointless and stupid of the writers that I don't know.. they already did it in the past (even if Hugo was a totally different kind of character) so that's what makes me worry  .. we'll see.. Anyway, both David and Fer's reactions make total sense and I never expected David to come out of the closet any time soon. I think the scene in the showers was really excellent; very well written and acted..    |

It'd be so pointless and stupid of the writers that I don't know.. they already did it in the past (even if Hugo was a totally different kind of character) so that's what makes me worry .. we'll see Since Fer wasn't in the previews probably both will not be having important roles in the next episode, probably to give time for both to "heal". I really hope this isn't the end of David, he has been with the rest of the cast for example in the amusement park clips I really don't think his role in FoQ ended, I mean Fer can't end up alone once again!    |

Just noticed that in the scene immediately after David is sitting down crying, Ruth is on the toilet most surely inducing herself to vomit. |

I really don't think his role in FoQ ended, I mean Fer can't end up alone once again! I don't either.. because like I said, it'd be too stupid  .. and yeah, for god's sake, what you said is what a lot of people think.. once again? plzz.. You are not from Spain, right? (if you are you'll know this) Years ago, in the first gay couple in a Spanish show about a high school, the gay character was single for a like year and a half -not sure exactly- (it aired every day) and when his future couple was introduced (in June 2000) he was also in the closet and had a girlfriend, but finally he came out and defended his relationship, he really left everything for this person. So his start and his reaction was almost the same than David's and I wish that he could be developed in the same great way that this other character was; he still remains one of my favorite characters of any series. |

That scene in the shower was excellent and I must say that I was not expecting Fer's reaction. I felt bad for David, but this will definitely give him something to think about and hopefully we will see his journey just like it's posted on the FOQ official website ( www.antena3.com/PortalA3com/Fisica-o-quimica/David/PE_94500_6646515), there is a difference of what is expected of him and what he really is. |

Great news I've just read on a board as an "exclusive", if something turned out to be different don't blame me, ok?  DAVID STAYS . I was pretty sure that being so popular and having been developed for so many episodes, it couldn't be any other way  . Now I guess he'll end up coming out of the closet or something on season 4.. we'll see.. I have a couple of theories. I'm gonna copy the info from the board ( foq.ya.st/) that I believe must be true. Here you have a pretty accurate summary/translation using their words: 1 * (As you know) the show ends June 22 with a double episode (3x11) titled "Jump to the emptiness (part 2)".
2 * People close to the series have confirmed that David definitely estays for the next season: the shooting of season 4 has already started and according to what they've told us, Adrián is also shooting on the series' sets, so we deduce that he'll be also next September (starting date of sason 4), probably as a regular like Javier, etc.
3 * Besides we've been assured that we're gonna live a surprising season finale; exact words (from the source): "it's gonna be incredible, nobody expects what is going to happen".
4 *And if you think that's not enough, we already have some information about the fourth season that will start on September (14 or 21); 4x01 will start will the first day of the next academic year ("segundo de bachillerato".. maybe I could say second of high school  no idea sorry), which means that between the end of season 3 and the start of season 4 will also pass the whole summer like on the show.Original text:EXCLUSIVA: David Se Queda, Final de la 3ª e inicio de la 4ªFuentes cercanas a la serie, nos acaban de confirmar que David (Adrián Rodriguez) se queda definitivamente en Física O Química. Wow, ellen thanks for the spoilers! I really hoped David would stay... YAY! <3 You are welcome.. I thought people here would like to read this Me too .. plus, if you read the comments on the Antena 3 boards, you see that many of them are about him or about him and Fer. But I think the decision was probably taken even before the episodes aired (and people's reaction), so that tells me that the writers knew pretty well were they wanted to go with David and his relationship with Fer. |

Thanks, ellen! I also found a post here but I don't know how official it is. At least the poster used normal orthography unlike all other members who use chat/SMS abbreviations all the time... Your translation is correct.
But i don't know if that forum is reliable, said that they have bad experiences with the actors who portrayed Hugo and Oliver, and Oliver wasn't Fer's boyfriend, and the guy who portrayed Hugo play gay before, so i feel difficult to believe that he felt uncomfortable with the love scenes (specially because were all off screen)
I read a major spoiler of the last episode, but it's not necesarily Fer related, we all know how much the writers like to put in danger the lives of these characters so it seems that Alma try to put fire to the Zurbarán

it seems that Alma try to put fire to the Zurbarán Ok so it may seem hokey.... but maybe Fer gets injured in the fire and David rescues him and he can't hide any of his feelings anymore and everyone can see it..... over the top i know.... |

Well, like I pointed out on those spoilers I translated days ago, he is back next season, so that he wasn't in this episode doesn't mean anything. When you look at this episode you realize that the writers simply tried to continue with the rest of the storylines without really getting anywhere.. so I can see why maybe they thought that David wasn't needed. It can have been as well a matter of time, because with so many stories, the episode would have ended up much longer if they had added scenes Fer and David or just David. I'm not saying I think it was a good decision to do this.. because I don't care about Paula, Cabano and their problems. And I think that they made the Berto/Martín/Blanca story pretty long. I enjoyed Fer's scenes with Quino/Yoli and Quino & Yoli's parts. It's fun to see Quino telling his problems to Fer ;D and the same with Yoli. And I also liked the storyline with Julio and Violeta. About David, at least Gorka mentioned him to Clara and he didn't have to; but he was honest because I think that he truly cares about Ruth at this point, so I found this part pretty well done and acted. Gorka is a jerk but he realizes he's fucked up and he tells Clara what he's done because he wants to help Ruth, even if he knew that Clara would be furious with him afterwards. David is also mentioned in the preview for the season finale where Julio finds out that David is gay. Fer is asking Julio if David told him they kissed and Julio reacts all surprised, so I imagine that at least there's going to be a scene with Julio talking to David before that one. If it's gonna be a double episode, the preview showed even less than usual.. |
