Wow, I haven't even watched the episode yet, just the screen caps, and I think I'm going to need to fill the bathtub with ice, like in "Latter Days".

Ivan, Dutchy, Lola, Tihkon, and Nanna, we can NEVER express enough thanks for what you all do.

And we can NEVER thank Jo and Thore enough either. Just the screen caps and my breath has been taken away.

And Sheepie, and Zam, your comments are wonderful. So much so, that I too, seem to have something caught in my eyes. Both at once.

Here's another round of thanks to Ivan, Nanna and Tihkon for bringing for the sterling work they have done over the last year and a half. I'm truly thankful.

And it's really amazing that those who kept the faith during the long, long period of background Ollian have been so amply rewarded with these wonderful scenes.

The thing that would make me feel that I had died and gone to heaven even more, would be a scene about the morning after. Not a scene with the guys smiling at each other at the breakfast table, but a scene showing Christian and Ollie snuggled up together in bed talking about nothing much or again saying sorry to each and an "I love you" or two. If that happened in the next episode, I would feel that all is right with the world. Sigh.

What an amazing episode. Right up there with 04/04/08.

I almost shorted out my key board on my lap top from all the drooling.

It was so sweet seeing...

gorgeous Olli in little to nothing

The whole strawberry hot kissing scene

The look of lust in Christian's eyes when Olli sat him down on the bed

The incredibly hot make out on the bed. ;D

And the finale of Christian going south on Olli as we cut to black.

I will sleep with one hell of a smile on my face tonight.

I also loved the scene when Olli crawls into bed and Christian is pretending to sleep. I loved when Olli, with such a worried look on his face says 'sleep tight' to Christian. Me heart just melted.

And what a wonderful scene we had on the couch. Just this mature and understanding conversation. Something you would expect from two adults in a loving relationship.

I love the way they acknowledging both were at fault. Christian realizing how much Olli really needs his help at NL. And Olli admitting what a 'dick' he was for demeaning Christian in such a manner.

It's really incredible the natural feel to this relationship. I don't even know if Jo and Thore realize how beautifully they come across on screen.

Thank you so much nanna, Ivan, Tihkon, dutchy and Lola.

And let me give a big shout out the the VL team for giving much respect in this episode to the amazing characters of Olli and Christian.

Well I just coudn't stop watching it, and now I'd realized that it's 6:30 am, so as I'm not going to sleep today, I better post my comment here. (Obsessed??...Me???... Absolutely not!! ;D)

About Chris and Olli:
Total agree with Sheepie, Zam, and Flippity, their relationship is growing more and more complete each day, their commitment is awesome and I loved the way they are able to recognize their mistakes without even confrontating each other. Olli immediately regreted everything he said after the fight and Christian was very fast also, wanting to solve things helping him and changing his attitude from anger to understanding. We saw a very different Christian here from the times of Coco, (Lydia didn't have to convince him like Gregor did when he fighted with her) not only much more mature but completely in love. Lots of emotions on the couch scene, Olli near to tears and Chris showing his support surprising him. Of course the sex scene was amazing in every part, the kissing, the touching, the looks, but Chistian whispering that "Ich liebe dich" in the most sensual way possible was just perfect!
About Jo and Thore:
It was wonderful to see Jo acting and not being used as a piece of furniture, his skills are soo good for that. But the real surprise was Thore, he was miles away from the past scenes, obviously he's feeling completly comfortable with the sex scenes (again the kissing, the touching and the looks) and he's much more confident with his role. And I'm convinced that this is something we did. Nothing could justify better this amazing change but the repercusion the storyline is getting on internet, the aknowledge of being internationally appreciated is something that, in my opinion, is so important for him. So I say a big "thank you" to both of them, but an special one to Thore, for his commitment and serious work, because his improvement is a great reward for all of us.
About VL:
I was not expecting a chapter like this, maybe we could have imagine it reading a funfiction, but I still can't believe that we actually saw all that hotness and sensuality on a TV show at 6:00 pm. It seems that the "verbotene" is back and the "liebe" is fortunatelly still there!!! I was really worried about how the new writers would act with C&O, from stadistics, happy couples are only candidates to broke up after a year, but with today's episode and all the love showed there, I think it would be very difficult to split them with a believable reason anytime soon. I'm sure we had a little influence here too and I'm positively impressed!

It's impossible to say with words and without being repetitive how much we all appreciate your efforts and the way you keep this our little Ollian obsession alive, you do much more that you think, you give us the happiness of this lovely distraction from the real hard world, and many times that few minutes are enough to cheer our lives. I'm overwhelmed by the almost tangible chemistry and love between the actors. Someone over at a soap here at the US should be shown this and be told that this is all about acting and making a character come to life, not about the actor's personal beliefs or sexual orientation or what not. Just great stuff, and I cant wait for more substantive stories for Olli and Christian.

Right after Christians sexily says, "Ich liebe dich," he proceeds south. Which leads me to ask about the "next level" of the boys' relationship. Now, how to phrase this carefully: is it safe to say then that Olli and Chris have done EVERYTHING that two men in love can do to and with each other (not counting the extreme fetish stuff)? Do they take turns, if you know what I mean?

Oh, how the mind just goes off into so many different directions with these boys!!!

First of all thank you so much for everyone's hard work, making this possible in anyway!

After being in a concert last night, I came home and couldn't stop watching this episode!
Just one word is defining this 6 minutes of pleasure: amazing!

From the fight, to the affectionate scene in the bedroom, to the sweet and caring scnene on the couch with the climax ( ;D) the scene with Olli surprising Christian in their bedroom.

Almost fainted when Olli says: hello, my goodness!

I loved watching especially Christian today, his facial expressions were beyond great, so well acted.

Conclusion: intoxication!
And off to watch again !

One partner in a gay couple doesn't always necessarily reciprocate what one partner does for the other, know what I mean? I've known plenty of gay relationships where the bedroom issues became the dealbreaker in the relationship simply because one wanted something that the other couldn't do sexually to the one partner for a whole host of reasons.

I guess the boys are, for lack of a better word, "versatile" and compatible in every way.

Yeah, that's it! That's how I like to think of Ollian.

Well, it's a soap opera. So naturally that kind of realism doesn't figure into things and we are just to assume that those kind of things naturally worked them out.

It's kind of an interesting contrast to the American soaps where gay and lesbian couples usually obsess endlessly about sex (Nuke, Natalia and Olivia on GL, Callie and Erica on Grey's). On VL pretty much every couple I can think of just "fell" into sex pretty quickly. Even Hanna and Carla had sex spontaneously the first time even though Hanna then went back to having a period of still wanting to stay with Lars. Naturally they didn't 100% show what they did during that sex scene or any further sex scene, but it was/is generally just glossed over and assumed to be just fine and dandy.

Compared to that all that "We will consider ourselves a couple and then wait for years/months to actually have sex" that you find in American tv couples always feels very ass backwards.

I guess it can be considered romantic in a way that they presumably love each other so much that they are sure that the sex will work out whenever it arrives, but wouldn't most sane people you know try to figure out whether the sex actually works for them [See Charlie and Stella] before they jump into the ILYs and declaring themselves a couple?

Sorry, I have read too many discussions lately whether or not Natalia and Olivia from Guiding Light are stalling or going at a realistic pace.

I don't disagree with you at all. American values are screwed up as reflected by what's deemed appropriate. Sex, which is a natural part of life, is dirty and taboo whereas violence, murder and killing are glorified. This is a broad generalization but that's a basic and big difference between the Continent and the USA about sex and how it's portrayed on TV.

Luke and Noah from AS THE WORLD TURNS are the best example of how gay couples DO NOT act in real life. No gay male couple will wait almost 2 years before even having sex.

In VL, Ollian had sex even prior to entering into a committed relationship.

I suppose practice makes perfect. By now, they know which buttons to push to make each other go to their happy place :-)

I don’t think I can stop smiling for well, at least until tonight’s episode (NOT a spoiler, I have no idea what is going to happen tonight).

I gotta say it again: I love how mature they both are. This really is one of the most – if not the most – realistic relationships ever on TV.

I really liked the blocking in this episode. I haven’t yet had time to watch anything but the English subtitled clip but (for the most part) it looked liked the Christian and Olli scenes included just the two of them… no one else around. No unnecessary interruptions or people walking in and out of frame even when they were in the booth at No Limits. And just how great was that scene by the way?

No bickering, just loving words and intimacy.

Followed by the last scene. It was just *whee*. They even remembered to close the door this time (I think Olli slammed it shut after the “Hallo”).

The writers even made me like Lydia a little bit. Of course she (only) said what any compassionate and caring person would have said but still, it was nice to hear it. I guess she’s okay when she is by herself.

Last but not least: thank you Nanna, Ivan and everyone else for all the hard work you do for us.

The "Thank you", "you're welcome" scene gets me. It felt like it implied so much more than just the menu in a sweet way.I always like that they don't use the ILY in fights to "make everything okay" like LySeb who throw the ILYs at each other to smoothen the situation and Ollis "totally awesome" showed that again and they don't say it (back) to the other person out of habit. It makes the moments more special I think.


An "after sex" scene would've been lovely with them eating the little dinner in bed but they can't show everything. But if that's already a sign of the new writer I'm not afraid that they'll show more scenes like that anyway. They could've used that fight to "spoil" things but it came across like they still want to tell a great love story (I'm relieved)

You said just what I have been thinking about since watching this last night....over and over and over....I loved the way Christian said "bitter", it just felt like there was a whole lot more in his meaning. Also the look he gave Olli when he said it was so loving, okay wasn't better than the last scene...(nothing will ever be better than that scene) , but it came a close second as it showed real love and feelings ;D

WOW, this episode was just gorgeus! From the beginnig to the end. Every scene was great. The fight in the beginnig was well balanced. Both made their point clear and after it, both thought about it.
In the bedroom at night, pure emotions without words.
I think in the next morning, Christian was just a bit stubborn but not that angry as the day before. I think he realised in the bedroom scene before, that Olli didn't want to downgrade him and Lydia then made the final steps with her speech.
The NoLimits reconciliation scene was full of love and bodylanguage. It couldn't have been any better.
Then the last scene with Ollis surprise, just stunning. I couldn't breathe while watching it. So much tenderness, passion and romance.
The acting of Jo and Thore was amazing, the direction and script was amazing, the story was amazing!
Just WOW! I have a lot of new favorite-scenes since the last two episodes.

My favorite Christian-moment was this one:

Those eyes and this expression just says everything. No words needed.

I so agree. When I watched for the second time (and came down from my high ;D) I really noticed how much the camera work really added to the atmosphere in their scenes. Of particular note was the movement in the first scene, fluid and fast, which PERFECTLY complemented the fast pace of the dialogue and the heightened emotion of both characters. (I have to also say that I've been really enjoying how much the directors have obviously been enjoying working with the new No Limits space to get some really interesting shots and angles)

I also REALLY loved the simple shot panning up to Christian's face in bed- the deliberate visual reminders in this whole scene (Olli coming in to a "pretending to sleep" Christian, kissing him before going to sleep) to the (obsessive Ollian) audience to remember the last time this happened, the fight before the match- and then the contrast of the next day- instead of angrily making himself a drink and shouting at Olli as happened last time, we saw Christian instead making Olli a drink and apologising and making up with him. Similiarly, instead of Olli angrily reacting to Christian's comments, he chose to stay calm and work through what he wanted to say first. Such growth.

Beautiful story telling, both with the visual and verbal reminders- really showed a sense of care about those characters from the writing and directing team as well as Thore and Jo.
