I went for a run to get rid of my tension. It didn't help I keep wanting to run into their arms.

I just got home from work at the hospital after a grueling day of treatment, but may have to go right back and check myself in as a patient after seeing these caps. My heart has just gone into fibrillating. OMG!! OMG!! OMG!!
I'm seriously trying to wait for Nanna's translations because I want to digest every word with every scene being played out. This looks like one amazing episode. And so glad Olli and Christian end up making sweet love and not war.
Tonight I'm going to kick back with a nice glass of sweet wine and watch, I'm sure at least 3 times this particular episode.
Now I shall go and throw a bucket of cold water over myself. ;D

TAUSEND DANK Ivan, Dutchy & Lola!!! (and a pre-emptive TAUSEND DANK to Nanna, Tihkon and anyone else I'm forgetting!!!)
Wow, I am literally squirming with happiness and acting all fan-girly as I haven't done in a long time! ;D
And it wasn't just the kissy scenes (as leaving me breathless as they were)... I just love the unspoken communication between C&O. As always, Jo and Thore do a fantastic job communicating what their characters are thinking/feeling without dialog. And props to the writers for creating a situation that feels completely organic in it's ability to be strung out for future tension or forcing you to sympathise with only the "wronged" party. Everything just came together so well! Makes you realise what a crying shame it is when these two aren't being used to their full potential. Bring on more Ollian!!
(*off to squee a bit longer*)

I really love the way that the relationship between C&O has grown up into a mature adult relationship. Yes - their intrinsic characters haven't changed, but their reactions to each other are changing - as they would in a relationship between two people who understand each other better should. Olli still blew up in a rage very quickly and made some cutting remarks to Christian when he was under pressure but his feeling of contrition at Christians reaction was very quick ( in the bar after Christian left, it was written all over his face and again the next morning when Christian was obviously still smarting about it you could see that Olli was deliberately not rising to the bait - the old Olli would have snarked back at Christian) Christian too has matured into their relationship - Christian of old would have raged around like an angry bull for days expecting Olli to apologise, however, it only takes a few simple words from Lydia to make him realise that Olli had just reason to be upset and that maybe he should be the one to make ammends. ( The fact that he creates a new cocktail for Olli and a new menu shows that he understands what some of Olli's needs are and how to please him). The booth scene between them is just beautifully done. But for me the one line that lifts their relationship to a completely new level is at how easily Christian is able to say "I Love you" to Olli. It is completely spontaneous and right from the heart. For me this shows that they are no longer tiptoeing round each other "getting to know" and "having to learn" how to love each other but have moved way beyond the point to where your heart has been given openly, unreservedly and without fear. Love these two.

Well, I feel the need to add my two cents worth, even though I'm so late to the party. It's hard to get past just posting this: ;D What I noticed is that Thore seemed more relaxed with his kissing scenes - no holding back now. I guess it shows that both Thore, and Christian, with his "I love you", feel much more comfortable with the relationship now. Thanks to Dutchy, Ivan, Nanna and Tihkon for all the hard work you do to provide our Ollian fix.

I can’t type for all the restraining myself from screaming and squeeing and… and… right now… I just came home from a gig and it’s 3.30 a.m. here and I can’t wake up the whole building. I have no words. I’m so friggin happy right now that I could buy presents to all my friends, family members and co-workers… heck, pretty much everyone I know. Heck, why not everyone on VL and at ARD too? PMSL I love how people are going for cigarettes! Totally agree with both Zam and Tikhon- thanks guys, you said articulately what I was wanting to say but too busy being giddy to say! LOVED the booth scene in all kinds of ways- the love between them was so palpable it was awesome to see, the remorse from Olli and Christian, the desire to sort things out as soon as possible- even down to the casual way Christian slung his leg over Ollis, letting him n=know before they even really spoke that all was ok. There was just so much love there- actually almost even more than the love scene- if it wasn't for such a heartfelt "Ich liebe dich" which just utterly melted my heart! I so totally agree with all of this. Will come back after a couple hours of sleep. If I can sleep.

I love this episode in sooooo many ways.
(1) C&O are beginning what appears to be a strongly-written story arc. They're not just throwing contrived shit up on the screen to make them fight. It's completely character-driven. And we see completely that the characters have grown. (as well as the actors) If this is a sign that the new team of writers have taken over, I am happy to stick around for the whole ride. How can they top this?
(2) SIX scenes? Yay!
(3) We have commenters coming out of the woodwork to weigh in on the epidode, new and old, and many we haven't heard form in a long time.
(4) Nobody commenting has reservations about what we saw (yet). Nothing like, "yeah, it's great that Olli's back from Ibiza, but..."
(5) VL is finally going to get an up arrow this week in their round-up of soaps on AfterElton. And if it doesn't, we'll have to spank Anthony hard!
(6) Could we have a more smoldering and *ahem* honest line-reading of "Ich Liebe dich"? the urgency, the sincerity, the honesty, the desire. Wow.
------------------------
It's nice to see the characters becoming more mature about this, and real strides in the acting department. Especially Christian's lack of hesitation to be hungry for Olli's kisses, and for Olli himself.
I've been feeling a bit as though their kissing behind the bar was getting to a point of being too "showy" (like pre-sex Nuke), where it was mostly done for effect. But seeing it happen as often today especially in the booth scene, seeing it in a scene about them brings it together nicely. While it may have seemed excessive before, if they had not ramped it up to that level before today, it would have seemed excessive today, when that kind of physical interaction was really required to sell the reconciliation scenes.
Nicely done all around. I haven't watched Nanna's video yet. (that's next) I will thank her and Tikhon and Ivan and Dutchy again for splendid and fast work that is (as always) above and beyond what we should expect from volunteers. Sincerely, thank you.
Lola, I thanked you on the other thread for your coughs. I've never been happier with a cough. LOL
