Since we won't have Max and Iago on screen for awhile, I thought we could talk about Iago and Beni scenes. As I am sure, we are going to have a lot of heartfelt moments between these two.

Hi loahlove, you're right. We'll problably gonna see a lot of Beni&Iago moments, but i think we will have to wait for a while to see them. Because in the official synopsis of the forthcoming episodes at the TV3 website there isn't any news at all from Iago or Beni. But who knows? Maybe they don't appear in the synopsis and we will able to see them on the episodes. I wish!!!!

Hi everybody, I try to do a urgency translation, Dani and Michelle will do it better. This is one of the most beautiful dialogues of Max& Iago story.
Beni outs from Peris when Iago passes with a bag, and stops him.
Iago: It will be better you didnt see me.
Beni: Yes, of course
They sit on the bench.
Iago: I just tell Rafa to go to hell. He tells me off all the day, espite of he knows I have passed a shitty week.
Beni: Both of us passed it. Have you got some mail from Max?
Iago: I havent. Beni, this is a dirty trick.
Beni: Dont be so negative. Max leaved but he will come back. Have you some place to go?
Iago: Ros got me a room.
Beni: (surprised) Ah, fucking awesome. Yes, because you know what is live with squatters, dont you? You will get used to, wont you?
Iago: (sad) What else can I do?
Beni: If Max would see us here, with these faces! ja,ja.
Iago looks at the wall
Iago: The first kiss I gave to Max, I did it here.
Beni: Right here? (laughts)
Iago: Yes, the day you were 50.
Beni: (angry) Dont fuck, Max, wasnt he then with Enric?
Iago: Beni, there are many things you dont know.
Beni: Yes, of course. Max, go on!
Iago: The guy was stunned, he didnt know I was gay.
Beni: Also was I when I knew it. I didnt imagine it. I dont mean that being gay is a matter of... I dont know if I explain myself.
Iago: You explain yourself, Beni. I'm leaving, Ros waits me (he gets up)
Beni: You will come to see me,wouldnt you?
Iago: Of course. Goodbye (he leaves)
Beni. Iago! (Iago turns) Max will return someday and I dont know what do you do going to live with the squatters when you have your home.
Iago: My home. (what a face!)
Beni: Yes, dont make me to tell such a fucking awasome words. Yes, we will see it, wont we? Max is my son and you are his partner, then my son-in-law (Iago smiles), we are some kind of family. I dont want to be alone, you likes me and I know I like you a little (Iago smiles another time) and I want you to stay with me and dont do make tell fucking awasome words (Iago has one of his very beautiful smiles).
Iago: Yes, but from this moment each of us will do his laundry, because you have discolored me three shirts.
Both of them laught.

I'm looking forward to Iago and Beni supporting each other and figuring out what to do without Max.
Gosh I really do hope Bernat changes his mind and comes back to El Cor. There's no reason why he couldn't act in the soap and play other roles in films and in the theater. Lots of actors do it.
I just love their story so much.

Carmela, thank you so much for Beni and Iago's conversation.
Also, congratulations in joining the amazing Max/Iago translation team!
I'm glad that Iago is going to be staying together. I think Beni is going to be Iago's moral support. Right now, Iago is very negative. . .and he thinks Max left him. Beni will be one who will continue to tell him that "Max will be back. . .Max loves him. . .Max will come back to him.
Iago telling Beni about his and Max's first kiss! The look on Beni's face was priceless. I don't know who was more shocked, Max finding out Iago was gay with the kiss, or Beni realizing Iago kissed Max when he was still with Enric!
When Iago told Beni, "There are many things you don't know," was so full of meaning. Iago and Max has been through so much together and only the two of them can fully understand.
I loved how Beni reached out to Iago and told him he has a home. . .with him! The topper was when Beni called him his son-in-law!
Watching the Beni and Iago will be a hoot!

My first reaction to Iago and Beni's scene together was, Beni is being a jerk to Iago, who only wanted to help him.
After coming down and thinking about it. I can sorta-kinda see where Beni is coming from. Hence the business: Beni and Max. I was Beni's dream that someday he and Max would run his Churro business together. Max is gone, and his dream for the moment died when Max left. Iago stepping into Max's slot I think upset and angered Beni. Beni's way of coping was to lash out at Iago.
I still feel sorry for Iago. He is like a lost soul. He has no one he can turn to. . .no really cares about him. He's living in a place where I don't think he is 100% wanted. He has no job. As far as he's concerned, he thinks Max dumped him.

The translation team is working in ep. 1634 and the others after this when appears Iago.
Yesterday episody, Iago goes first to the churreria and says Beni he is looking for a job, and ofers Beni to work with him until he gets it. He says also he cant be living at his home without paying expenses (and Beni repeats that it's also Iago's). Beni first agrees and Iago helps him, but Beni dislikes how he do it (without washing his hands) and suggest him to come back to Rafa's stand.
Rafa is alone is his stand and overwelmed, but refuses Iago (who apologizes for leaving the stand friday) and says he cant trust him not to do it another time.
So Iago ask for job to Fidel, but he havent, and ask him to talk people about.
Rafa and Fidel have economic problems because they give money to a man (Ivan & Beni former partner in Can Sarró) to invest it , and he swindled them.

I loved the night scene where Iago goes to see Beni. They talk about Max. Iago is still hurt that Max left him the way he did. He tells Beni about the time Max went to see him in jail and he told Beni that Max swore he would wait for him for however long it took. (Eva posted that translated episode the same day this translation was posted. This episode gets to me everytime I watch it. Especially when the lawyer tells Iago how the town is treating Max and the hell he is going through for him.)
I loved the advice Beni gave to Iago. I'm paraphrasing what Beni said to Iago. "Now it's your turn to wait for Max. Max loves you more than he's loved anyone. He will be back one day. In the meantime you need to get on with your life."
I love these father-son like moments between Beni and Iago!

What's wrong with Beni? Were Iago and Oscar talking about him yesterday?
I see Iago is back working at the fruit stand. I'm glad he has a job, but I just can't picture him in that job for long. I think it may be a stepping stone to greater things. It also looked like Iago layed out some ground rules. . .I wonder what they were?!

Yesterday ep. had two scenes: the first, Iago & Oscar. The second, Iago & Rafa
Iago & Oscar: Oscar told Iago about his brother Pau, which girlfriend went to Amsterdamm to work in. And how he miss her, and that he begun to work in the shop of Juli's parents, and that it is good for not to think. Iago got sad, Oscar apologized, and Iago said something like "To work for not to think" (that seems what he's doing now). And asked to Oscar to looking for job for him in a transport company.
Iago & Rafa: Iago said Rafa he got a job a transport company (I don't now if it's true, or a trick for a better negotiation); Rafa is overwelmed and with economic problems, so ask him to work with him and Iago made a good negotiation of his working conditions. The same wage (Rafa can't pay more), but two afternoons to rest, a better treat... and a smile in the morning!
In today's ep., in a short scene, Iago is seen happy in his job. smiling at custumers in Rafa's fruit stand.
I think Iago has this job because the economical story with Rafa, Fidel, Orpinell (Juli's stepfather) and Gerard (Iago's father?). Tomorrow we will know more about Gerard, Orpinell's friend.
In the oficial forum, we think that Gerard is Iago's father for several reasons: people wants to know who is Iago's father; the actor who plays this character, Ferran Rañé, is a good election because he is handsome, is new in the series, a great actor who played Bernat Quintana's father in "Laura". And a bad character, a loan shark and it seems hasn't any escruples with women. Now, with Patricia, Juli's mother... and Juli pays it! Because his stepfather owes money to Gerard.
Another reason is that in the Tvist interview to Marc Clotet, they asked him about Ferran Rañé.
And Beni... seems to be better like father than like boss!

My first thought when I saw Gerard tenderly touching Orpinell's face the other day that maybe this would be our next gay characters. Since Gerard is a loan shark I imagine he was probably not being very nice. Friday's episode looks interesting. This is what I got from the translator.
L'Orpinell dóna per acabada la temporada de promocions, però la Roser exigeix el regal que no va agafar la Pilar. El que pretén l'Orpinell és pagar a en Gerard i deslligar-se'n. I faria bé perquè avui descobrirem el gran secret del prestador...
The Orpinell considers for being finished the season of promotions, but Roser requires the gift that did not root the Pilar. The one that aims for the Orpinell is to pay to Gerard and to get loose from it. And it would do good because today we will discover the great secret of the lender...
