You were right about Ben Espina - I haven't watched the influencers yet, so I don't know if the other lead (Arkin del Rosario) was in that or not. Seeing as it was the series I was thinking about I can only assume I had already read the names somewhere. It was only really Ben that I remembered though. His mad Achilles in Swap Test must have left a deeper impression on me than I thought! The other lead wasn't actually the one I remembered from Influencers. When I watched the video it became clear to me that the person I was thinking of was Kevin Alejandro who is just part of the support cast here. Mind you, I don't know how I remembered him above Arkin who was actually the lead in Boyband Love. lol!

Seems like Between Us, the long awaited sequel to UWMA has been mothballed until further notice due to new strict rules that have been imposed on the Entertainment Industry in Thailand. They include: * No shooting in public. * Shooting in studios/controlled places must NOT exceed 5 persons in the crew. * You can submit a request in case of necessity, but the number must NOT exceed 20 persons in the crew. In response director P'New made the decision to postpone until the situation improves and released the following statement: "It will be a while before we can start shooting #BetweenUsTheSeries. I want to wait till everything is ready so we can fully work on it because I don't want to feel anxious every day about having to disrupt the shooting.
P.S. shit government."I suspect those rules will impact more than just this production.

GMMTV have run out of new shows and are now currently showing re-runs in 4 of their 6 major slots on Thai TV.
One of these is their Friday BL slot (recently vacated by Fish Upon The Sky) which will remain empty until further notice. That suggests they have no finished BL product left to transmit. Enchante, Bad Buddy, Baker Boys and Not Me were all originally due from GMMTV this season, as well as semi-lakorn (with BL content) The Player.

Ok, the tweet is a bit pointless as there's no English subs, but I added it so you can see the moment the CEO of production company Storywiz announced that 'Color Rush Season 2' is on its way.

I believe they were going to go with Bad Buddy next, but then Ohm got covid, and that derailed everything.

Good news and possible bad news at the same time. The good news is that another novel by Manner of Death author Sammon has been optioned to be made into a TV series. 'Make a Wish' will tell of the romance between a Doctor who is able to see ghosts and the Angel who comes to help him prevail against them. The bad news is that this may take precedence over the previous Sammon novel that was optioned: 'Spare Me Your Mercy' (about the romance between Inspector M and Doctor Oat from MOD) due to scheduling and cast availability problems.

I was looking for the new Freefire x Wonderframe video featuring YinWar but couldn't find it. Still, while looking I came across this Millie x Wonderframe video featuring YinWar that I had all but forgotten about. So just thought I'd pop it here to give it a bit of a re-airing:

The Blue Sky is a BL from Cambodia and has been going for about 6 weeks now. It's made by Sastra Films and is exclusively available via their members streaming app. I've been keeping an eye out for a while to see whether it might make its way to any of the fan-subber sites but it appears not, and as such didn't think it was worth making a thread. If you really are interested in watching it though, you can subscribe to get their app from here: Sastra Films

Some folk may be aware already that GMMTV's You Tube channel has been hacked. All videos are no longer available, so at the present time any thread here with links to GMMTV content will not work. Latest statement from GMMTV:

GMMTV is back in operation and all of their content has now been rightfully restored to their channel.
All the links to their shows on the threads here should be back in working order too. (Phew!)

Some bleak and shocking news. Toy Thanapat who played Zen in Why R U? has been arrested for murder after stabbing his girlfriend Chatsaran Suwannakit to death during a row. The details are in this report from the Bangkok Post . Don't think there's anything else to be said.

M Flow Entertainment have put out a casting call for their upcoming 'Tonhon Chonlatee' spin-off, 'AiLongNai The Series' which will focus on AiNai's story. In the original these characters were played by Mike and Toptap but as this new show will not be a GMMTV production they will not be reprising their roles.

'Semantic Error' the popular manga comic and webtoon is going to be made into an 8 episode BL series due out at the end of the year. The makers are currently in the process of casting its main couple and as part of this search for the characters of Chu Sangwoo and Jang Jaeyoung, have decided to post the details of the 54 candidates still in the running and have opened it up to a public vote. Sounds like a dicey way to find your actors to me, but that's what they're doing so if you have some time on your hands you can go and have a look and then vote for whoever takes your fancy! It's open worldwide and here's the place to go: Semantic Error Vote

Some very aesthetic visuals, and a statement of Diversity if ever there was one.

Yesterday Max and Tul did a webcast called 'Chinese Valentine's Day Live' (do China really have a different Valentine's Day to everyone else?) One of the snippets that they revealed during it was that they are both committed to Season 2 of Manner of Death and asked fans to keep hope alive that it will happen. MOD production company TV Thunder already have an option on the sequel - called "Transplant" - which will focus on a new life-and-death mystery for Bun and Tan in Bangkok (and also involves puppy-couple That and Sorawit), but now they are all waiting on author Sammon to actually finish the book. M&T also said they have new work coming up at the beginning of 2022 but didn't go into detail. Let's hope it's a series! Ok, these aren't new but you can never see too much of M&T being touchy-feely with each other.

For a while there's been the odd rumour of a new gangster themed BL known mainly as "So bad...Mafia love" in the chatrooms. Seems like the casting process for this series has now been completed as the makers have released a set of posters featuring the actors who will star. Unfortunately, they didn't provide any of the guys Romanised names so apart from Yoon and Ton as the main couple, I don't really know who they are. It also looks like the series has been given the official title of "Unforgotten Night The Series" (spelt wrong on the posters).
