I liked how season 2 started and ended, but the middle ... I mean, really another gay boy making out with a girl? I'm glad they shut it down quick, but did they need it at all? It then made sense to me why they gave us the gay sex dream at the start because they threw in Wilhelm's hetero moment before the boys finally got back together in the penultimate episode. For a show that's sold on the queer central couple, there was a lot of straight stuff this season. There was even nudity by August (but neither of our boys - boo!)
It never occurred to me that August was that close to the throne - they certainly didn't play that beat in season 1 - and now, suddenly he's next in line after the Crown Prince. And while we're on August, I thought they wanted to make him genuinely remorseful and sincere in trying to make amends - instead they have him regress, but I guess that's the "twist" (as was Simon's sister being the one to maybe report him to the police for leaking the sex tape).
I hope the show gets another season because leaving us on that cliffhanger was brutal.

They never rule out the possibility of Wilhelm being bi and Felice has always been supported throughout the season so in the moment of weakness, Wilhelm could go to Felice for comfort. But in the end it is really just a tool to drive a wedge between the boys and force Simon to go back to Marcus.

It is really great, William is really a normal Teenager in the puberty, with lots of to much hormones that everything and everyone hates, especially his mom and it is hilarious, for me, for entertaining. LMAO. And really not a good son. I was back in this time frame, like mostly all, also a really bad person, I hated my parents allways and speak not to them for hours, or wanted to get them to the moon and don't come back. So I can really unterstand, William, but also now, that the world turns again sooner or later, especially if something bad happens, this is not the end of the world, also that is looks mostly for all Teenagers, that it is. Just wonderful.

Season 2 was good, but not as good as season 1 imo. It felt a bit lackluster. I did like the scenes Wille and Simon got though, my problem was that they didn't get enough scenes together. They spent most of the time apart, and yes, I get it, it's because of the story and where the show left them last season, but the show suffered because of it. Their chemistry is why people watch. I also think the other stories this season were worse than last year.

I wish there were more scenes of them together, but they now have the perfect foundation for season 3 like paparazzi, media, reaction of the royal family, society and more.... summary of the next season "Us Against The World"

I really hope they do well enough to secure at least one more season; obviously their season 1 response was not nearly as good as Heartstopper's which got a 2-season renewal on the strength of their first. Wilmon did spend way too much time apart, and what always galls me is that they never really pull the trigger on alternative male love interests. Yes Wilmon is OTP/endgame, but why are their love lives practically stagnant when they're apart? Simon still pining for Will to the point where he rejects the advances of the other hot guy panting after him - really?

At some point Wille just had to move on after the rejection from Simon. Wille had this great gay awakening, yet no alternative love interest? WTF?! It made it seem like Wille wasn't really gay, just in love with Simon. At least Simon got a new love interest.

I am the only one, that thinks August is a love to hate character? Sometimes you really have pity with him. Because I think everyone has make something really dumb in affect, mostly not so bad, what August did, but from his view, his actions are understandable. And I believe that he really don't see the consequences, of his doings, his acting, also because he is to young, thinks not enough, he act out from his feelings, which are mostly anger and also betrayed, let to be down and loneliness.
What I don't really liked this season, was the role of autism, Sara, her action was not really understandable, especially if she had really autism, it is a bit like Shelton at the End, a bit way to far, to acting to normal and also lying about the affair with August, that is really unbelievable, not authentic for a autist. Because as autism, you would not care, what other people thinks, cares, so there is no reason for lying.
About William yeah, he did not really shine great, this Season on every side of the story. But I would say he act, like a normal Teenager would do, with this kind of pressure from every side, the crown, the family's, the tradition, the responsibility, the jealousy, lost hopes, the world stops turning and so on. Teenagers act not the same way, like if he were 20.
