No, they never kissed. Portugal it still has a problem with displays of gay affection on their shows and this is one of the first shows with gay characters.
I liked several things of this show, it has two prominent gay characters (not destined to be a couple, there was a big gap between the ages), the gay teen (in the other case the sexuality of the character was a non issue) i liked he was not an stereotype, he practises judo (his best straight friend is a dancer) but of course his coming out was quite typical with a lot of suffering (even when his best friend supported him from the beginning).
It was a very entertaining show (similar to O beijo do escorpiao) with a very funny bad girl and a murder mystery. In terms of gay storyline the importance is being a pioneer (and the fact that both gay characters have a happy ending)
