On Thursday's episode, we'll learn all about Connor and "find out why he's such a player," executive producer Peter Nowalk tells us. "It's a lot more than just sleeping around." Might it have something to do with his hookup with Michaela's fiancé back in the day? Meanwhile, Marren Trudeau (guest star Elizabeth Perkins) is no average client-of-the-week. The high-profile businesswoman, who's accused of insider trading, has a "long history" with Annalise, and "there's a reason she takes the case," Nowalk says. www.tvguide.com/News/Mega-Buzz-Sleepy-Hollow-The-Flash-1088071.aspx

If we could decide who we loved, it would be much simpler, but less magical.

I loved Shonda Rhimes response to that tweet. I love the fact that Connor's sex scenes are put together on the same level as any other person on the show. It's nice to see when I remember the earlier years of tv where it was just chaste kisses for any same sex couple with a lot of time between each one. Connor is a young gay man whose confident and happy with his sexuality who has a healthy strong sex drive. Like every other red blooded American male his age.
In the flash forwards, I wonder who actually killed Sam and why they are all there at his murder? And then why they are all working to cover it up? Or did they already say, I'm new to the show?

That hasn't been revealed yet, it's all a big mystery. Last episode was 7 weeks before that incident, so I'm guessing we'll get some answers at the mid-season finale.

The gay press really have their hate on for HTGAWM. One Million Moms can rest easy, our own media will manage to kill this show all on their own. First the Backlot, now Slate. I'm just waiting for the Advocate to chime in. I guess Teen Wolf really is the gold standard of how gays should be depicted on television, given how much praise the same culprits lavish on that show. Barely-there gays who never take part in a main story such that they can be written out without explanation - yeah, that's what we need. Not a truly inclusive, comprehensive portrayal of a young gay man. Much better for gay kids to believe in that "refreshingly" homophobia-free environment that Teen Wolf cultivates. I've never been more ashamed of the gay press. I hope the showrunners and actors understand they in no way represent the gay or gay-friendly audiences of this show.

The guy from Slate had the same issues with HBO's "Looking". All of thess pieces are opinion POVs and not critiques of the show based on the writing, directing, storylines or acting. It really is about airing their personal issues (usually based on how much sex is aired on the show), while using those shows as the material for their opinion piece. I hope that neither Novak or Rhimes pays any attention to those pieces.
