Do you mean when they came back from their break? They were having a memorial service for the child Lari had with Kalle's sister. But was being raised by her and Tale (sp?), Elias' cousin. It turned out he was not dead but really kidnapped by the social worker.

I'm glad they are not dragging out "Will Lari die or not?" but I am surprised there was barely any drama from the fact that Elias had shot him.
It is utterly ridiculous that Kalle would be allowed to operate on his ex-fiance. It gives Finnish medical ethics a bad name!

Here we go again - another young gay couple whose life is going to revolve around a baby. And these two aren't even out of their teens yet! Most soaps don't seem to know what to do with a gay couple after all the angst of getting them together is over so they tend to either marry them off, throw a child into the mix or as of lately bring up an HIV scare. As if the gay couples are the only ones on the show having unprotected sex. Which to me is sad, and unimaginative writing. I agree this is probably not going to end well. However, I hope that unlike every single time before it, his drinking gets addressed, because to me Kalle exhibits all the traits of a high functioning alcoholic. |

I think in smaller communities there is less strict adherence to rules around doctors not treating people the know or even family members. |

Kalle drinking at the workplace - this is not going to end well. Well there are four parents involved here so it's not like it's up to Lari & Elias only to care for the baby. The problem is that Sanni Tale and Kalle have been very selfish where Lari's access to his son is concerned. If they got a grip it could be a great environment for the baby. |

So they had a quickie reunion between Lari and Elias that pretty much ignored that Lari was in love with/going to marry another guy only a few weeks before only to kill Elias off? Well, that explains the reunion. I bet there would have been no reunion if he were still on the show. Still, why kill Elias? He still have family on the show. Geez, he could have left town to London like he'd been threatening to do.

Elias's death seemed like it was very hastily written in, with barely any setup and coming almost immediately after Lari's near-death experience. Did the actor quit suddenly? I wonder what this means for the surviving gays - assuming it was not Kalle who ran him over!
