Elias should be keeping far far away from Lari regardless of if Lari fathered a child or not, so I wonder if the baby development isn't so much a plot point for Larias, but is a more general story for a lot of characters.

Is it now SOP (standard operating procedure) for this show to turn their gay characters into jerks? First Elias was turned into a waffler, then Kalle into a possible hit-and-run driver, and now Lari is deceiving his best friend about being (very likely) the biological father of the baby Janne wants to believe is his own. Granted, Lari was introduced as a jerk back in the day, but I honestly thought we had moved past that. Having him do this to Janne (another one who can be a jerk, but a loyal friend to Lari) is beyond the pale. And of course, there's Kalle - whom he's lying in bed with while reminiscing about sleeping with and impregnating his sister! (On a shallow note, why was Lari overdressed for bed? I miss the old days when he jumped into bed in nothing more than some very tight briefs. Writers, take note: If you're going to make the characters unlikable, you could at least distract us with some eye candy.)

We'll have to agree to disagree, gidi.
After all the chasing they wrongly made Elias do for over a year, it's time to flip positions and make Lari chase him now, and twice as hard. It's the only way I'd ever be ok with those 2 getting back together. Lari needs to actually prove he loves Elias and not just because its convenient. He needs to earn him.
And in the meantime, Elias needs to try moving on.
But I know thats not anywhere near whats happening. Petteri's already released that statement saying the Larias fans will be happy. I think its awful that after having Lari treat him like he was a stalker ex for all that time, NOW this show wants to cater to fans. It has to be earned.

I know you love to pick on Lari, but don't forget that Elias has done his share of shit. I personally don't think Elias and Lari should get back together; they're just not well suited to each other (and they both have big problems). We don't really know that's where they're going, anyway. Maybe we'll get some idea if & when Elias returns. But for now Lari doesn't show any desire to split with Kalle.
Anyway...
I want Lari to be honest, at least with Kalle, that he might be Ilja's biological father. Then go find out for sure. I hate it when people think it's best to keep major secrets that are clearly bothering them, especially from their partners. I bet they're just going to drag the whole thing out. Sigh.

Elias has never done anything to Lari. Except maybe save his ass a few times and never get credit for it. Im still waiting for it to come out that he put up the money to replace what got stolen from the till when Lari decided to take that nap on the job.
And if they weren't well suited, I highly doubt they would have charmed so many people with their romance and acquired such a passionate fanbase.
Anyway...
And now Lari's a big fat liar. Ha! What a catch he is. It matters not to me if he is the father or if he and Kalle continue. Im just excited to see Elias again -as long as he life doesnt revolve around the meathead anymore.
