Do I contradict myself? Very well then I contradict myself, (I am large, I contain multitudes.)

The New Normal ended because they didn't have faith in it to give it a second season. Everyone wants to blame it on the writing being too "preachy". Bollocks. The truth is it was one of the most ballsy, funny, subversive, heart-warming, gay shows on network tv, ever. And it is the ONLY show on television ever where THE lead characters are a gay couple. If the producers want to pretend the show didn't get a second season because it wasn't good enough or didn't have enough fans, they must think we're stupid.
I'd love to have seen what The New Normal could do it if were distributed online without Geo-Blocking.

NBC is a sinking network, they can't afford to give tv shows chances. They cancelled Matthew Perry's show and that had better viewership than The New Normal.
