I´ve already watched it like 4 times now... I´m so in love with Doug, his jealousy is hilarious, the way he tried to watch Ste and Adam while Texas was trying to get his attention... and well, yes of course, who wouldn´t go wash their hair right in the middle of a date? ;D He´s just too funny and sooo confused. Poor thing...can´t wait for tomorrow.
Actually I would´ve liked Adam very much as a possible boyfriend for Ste...he seems nice and decent, too bad he probably won´t stay around for too long. But then again... I´m shipping Stug so much, can´t believe I fell in love with a storyline again. <3

That was hilarious. And adorable. Jealous Dougie is wonderfully amusing. ;D Favorite line: "She..um..she had to go wash her hair..." !!! ;D Looks like we share the same brain steffi! ;D

Oh, Doug ... no. Although, without him actually saying it, it would be hard for him to be any more obvious about how he feels. ;D

When he kissed Texas in order to stop Adam and Ste from kissing?! Yes, Ste isn't that bright, but it's got to start making him think about why Doug's behaving in such a way. Doug's not a violent person by any means, but he's being hostile towards Adam and belittling him whenever Ste talks about him.

First time here! I can't believe I finally landed on a Hollyoaks' thread, because I avoided "the other storyline" like the pest But it's a nice surprise the soap is gratifying us with this light, funny story . I'm already in love with Doug, he's the cutest thing ever ...

If we could decide who we loved, it would be much simpler, but less magical.

Doug and Ste remind me a bit of John Paul and Craig. Where Doug is super jealous of Adam being with Ste. Like when John Paul was jealous of Sarah being with Craig and then when Craig was jealous of Spike being with John Paul.
Adam would be a good boyfriend for Ste, but I can't help but be team Doug.
Poor Texas, but I think she will understand in time considering her own confusing feelings for Jodie.

I honestly don't see many comparisons between this and the JP/Craig storyline to be honest. Ste discovered his homosexuality way before Doug was in his mind, and Doug is coming to terms without involving girls (Well, apart from the pretty fundamental phase : Im gonna sleep with a girl I liked to prove myself that I'm straight, but he's moved out of that pretty soon considering how much he was glaring at Adam and not giving a flying s* about Texas at the bar). We still have to see how he will react to physical contact, ergo not being able to deny anymore that he did something 'gay'. But as far as we are now, I'm really liking how 'soft' this has been, instead of all the heat and emotions of other coming outs. It's a nice change, cuz not everything has to be dramatic and over the top...

Oh, I loved this episode! It was funny and refreshing. Doug is hilarious while being jealous ;D
I noticed that, even if the episode was all about Doug and his own way to deal with his feelings for Ste, we also got to see Ste not being indifferent to Doug's actions. I liked the fact that after Doug's display of jelaousy, Ste kept looking at him instead of going on with his date as if nothing happened. And that Adam was sweet telling Ste not to worry for the disastrous date and that they could do it another time.

I feel that more thought, effort and development of all the characters involved in this new storyline has been the focus for the née Executive Producer and her writing team. It's not just about seeing one character manipulating everyone in this particular tale (for the moment).

They're fantastic actors and very nice people.

I really liked the dialouge at the end, I had thought of it alot, and imagined that it would either seemed forced, or, it wouldn't be clear enough, but I think this was done really well

I just loved Dougs "answer"... or rather no answer... For me it seemed like he realised his love at that point just like Ste did. Of course he knew there where feelings and all that, but it just fell into place by hearing Ste saying it out loud. And by the way, excellent acting... how his voice broke at some point and he just seemed like he was going to cry... Well it´s out now, I´m really looking forward seeing Ste´s reaction to that confession...

Thanks Steffi for posting the clip. At work, so I'll have to watch during my commute home. So excited to see the scenes, especially from yours and Walluh's response. : )

First time here! I can't believe I finally landed on a Hollyoaks' thread, because I avoided "the other storyline" like the pest Same here on all counts. ;D (I mean, almost all. I did keep up with JP/Craig/K after all.) Thanks for the clips, I was able to catch up. The last scene was so imperfectly perfect or perfectly imperfect, which made it believable somehow. Either way, really good so far, proof you don't have to overdo it or take it to extremes to sell it. Keep that "other one" at bay for as long as possible and let this one stand firmly on its own, and I'll definitely check this out on the occasions I'm around.
