Does anyone know anything about this show? Someone just tipped me off about it on Youtube..

The one guy is pretty hot, and the other shorter guy is ok I guess.. It looks kinda interesting, but I don't know.. is it worth watching, or is it just crap?

I think both guys are handsome but without translations it's just too hard to follow shows in another language (even with a "general" sense of what's going on.

I love dialogue and I love getting to know characters' personalities and so much of that is about what they say.

It's so easy to misunderstand what's happening in a scene if you don't actually know what folks are saying and recaps are so subject to people's interpretations. Though I'm always grateful that people take the time to recap.

Anyway, more gays the better I guess. I do so often wish I were more multilingual

I agree. And I'm sure we can get someone to translate this clip, I know there's some Spanish speaking people on these boards *hint, hint*.

I wish I spoke Spanish, I always wanted to learn it, but never got a chance to Maybe I'll learn it in the future, I actually know a bit more now after watching NRPP the last few months, but not nearly enough! lol

And yeah, new gay soaps are always fun! It makes me happy everytime I find a new gay storyline! What can I say, I don't have much of a life, I'm a student, and I study! lol

I know! Totally! Telemundo is doing GREAT with their gay storylines, and isn't this kinda a breakthrough? Anyways, to the point, yes. Telemundo is doing great with their gay storylines, so props to them! I already wrote a comment about it on AfterElton, that they should check out for Mas Sabe and NRPP. The characters are not stereotypical, they are portrayed as REAL gay people. I also appreciate that they don't play on the "I'm not gay, I'm in the closet". Well, they do that too, but not ONLY that. The characters are complex, with real issues, being gay is just a part of who they are. And it's not played for laughs, like that Perez show from Mexico. The only thing I have a problem with is their limited screen time. Horacio and Christian haven't been seen together for three weeks now. And it always goes days, even weeks for Santi and Diego to show up too. I also hate the way the writers leave the SanDiego fights unresolved. But I dunno.. As long as the storyline is good, you really can't complain too much, right?

My mom and I started to watch this one together. She's a fan of the actor who plays the main villain Martin Hierro. I stopped, though sometimes I'll catch Horacio and Cristian on YouTube. But I don't like the rest of the series. The premise is that the bad guy Hierro had a son with the hero's Mom when she was a maid at his house. She never told him and named the boy Angel. Angel grew up to be a "professional" thief alias El Diablo. Where they get the name of the show. Unknown to him and his band of thieves Hierro is Charlie to their Angels. He sets up their hits and they do the dirty work. The heroine started out as Martin Hierro's girlfriend. He presents a businessman front in his daily life. But she was Angel/Diablo's lawyer and the fell in love. Horacio is her gay best friend and law partner. The taller guy Cristian is Hierro's brother. Horacio is out and proud, while Cristian started out deeply in the closet with a domineering Mother to rival his older brother.. He and Horacio have hooked up but Cristian is not out to anyone. They haven't really devoted a lot of time to them, but what they have shown has been good.

I agree.. They even get less screen time than SanDiego, and that's NOT good They haven't been shown together for the last THREE WEEKS! But yeah, when they are on the soap it's usually very good stuff. I liked the kiss, and I think it's a breakthrough in Spanish novelas.

Telemundo ran a novela before called Tierra de Pasiones, which in English is Land of Passions. It had a good gay storyline with one of the young men. He at first fell for a guy who was interested in his money and even ended marrying his sister. They showed them kissing once or twice, but in a way where you didn't see anything. But then the heroine found her long lost son who turned out to be gay. And they hooked up. I don't remember if they ever kissed but they ended the series together.

There was another one, but I can't remember the name. I do remember the young man was the heroine's son. He was in love with his best friend and they even showed them in bed. It was cleverly edited and you technically didn't see anything really. But I remember it because it was the only bed scene for a same sex couple in novelas I've seen. Unfortunately they were caught by his homophobic grandmother. It didn't end well, or the novela either. I stopped watching, but I think they gave it a DALLAS ending. Where the heroine was actually in a coma and dreamed the whole thing.

Wow, thanks for that! They both sound kinda interesting! The first soap you mentioned sound good, and I'm glad they ended up together. Though I do feel sorry for the guy since the guy he liked took advantage of him. It sucks they edited out the kiss scenes.. I am glad they got together in the end though.

And the other novela you were talking about.. What?!?! She dreamt the whole thing? That must have been a bummer to find out. That is like the worst end possible. lol Anyways.. sounds interesting, I always find it so cute when they fall in love with their best friends, and when the best friend feels the same way. It sucks that it didn't end well though, cause it could have had much potential. And that sex scene, well, it sucks that they didn't show more of it, but still, like you said, must have been quite a break through on the novelas front!
