Thank you, KevVoi for those postings. It's interesting (for me) to read the series review that you have shared. Brings back to mind, Sincronicity & Teachers are two good British series. The former is a realistic portrayal of adult relationships.

Justin moves to the States because Conor won't come out, even though Conor begs him to stay and says he loves Justin. Later, Conor's friends find pics of Conor and Justin in bed together and Conor is outed.

I wish I could see it. I hate that so many UK shows I love I can't watch because I live in the states.

Oh Conor, I just want to give him a hug and at the same time hit him upside the head. I do think Justin is his happy place, he looks so happy in those pictures with Justin. And he lit up when he saw Justin at the door. I would like to know more of the reason why Justin left. Because packing up your life and moving to another country is a big step that you don't make just because of a complicated relationship. And this isn't some small move to England, this is a big move to the States.
I find it interesting that Conor's character page says, "Having spent all summer in Cork, he’s looking forward to seeing Justin again." Where Justin's page doesn't mention Conor at all, but talks a lot about his friendship with Eva. I doubt this is the last time we see Justin, not just because he has his own character page. But that's just bad form to have this character and then just like that in episode one he's off to another country. There has to be more to this story.
I want Eva and Danny together, I can't believe that Jess made the same mistake again with McCann. It's not like things are going difficult for Danny and Jess, it looks like she's freaking out about their relationship. And McCann is tall, dark, handsome bad boy. He's also a major jackass whose probably not going to take too kindly to his cousin being gay. I think Eva is aware of her feelings for Danny, the way she looks at him reminds me of the way Danny looked at Jess in series one. I just think they compliment each other better than Jess and Danny do and there is a spark.
I don't quite understand why those guys were in Conor's room to begin with.

Watching the clip of scenes centered around Conor, we are left wondering the motive of Justin. There must be more to the 'minor' character that is revealed in other scenes that we don't have access to.
I am curious, so if you can indulge me: to fan girl viewers, does it matter why Justin did what he did? (There is no 'right' or 'wrong' response; all your opinions are interesting).

Do you mean why Justin broke up with Conor? Thank you, Nanii. What I want to know is what a female viewer feels about this edited episode of what appears to be Justin leaving Conor. Well, as a female viewer, I can understand why Justin breaks up with Conor. Justin is out to everybody and I can understand why he would find it difficult to keep his and Conors relationship a secret. Justin can't even talk to his best friend when he is having problems in his relationship and that must be really frustrating! I also believe that Justin has given Conor many opportunities to come out and none of Conor's friends have a problem with Justin. Maybe Justin finds it difficult to understand why Conor just can't come out... That said, I don't understand why Justin is moving to the US and the way he broke up with Conor. If Justin wanted to break up with Conor, why didn't he just call him? Maybe he wanted Conor to feel bad about everything? I don't know... I look forward to the next couple of episodes and I really hope that Justin stays, because it looks like Conor could use a friend in the next episode.

I have a feeling that they might bring on someone new for Conor because the actor Ben Peel who plays Justin is in another show called "The Fall".

Maybe Justin moves to the US, because he has nothing substantial or is just tired of being involved in a secret relationship with Conor to make him want to stay in town. I don't find it strange that a young person would want to move away and make a new start in his or her life. Especially when the person you're in love with, chooses to keep you a secret from their friends. Justin shouldn't have to be this patient and understanding guy all the time, so that Connor will have a romance on the show. Doesn't Connor already have a group of friends that support him? He can go to them for support. Maybe the loss of Justin will just be the start of Connor being open and honest with his friends about his orientation.

And I didn't mean that I don't understand why a young person like Justin would be moving abroad but did we get an explanation on the show? It just seemed sudden but I can understand why it would be a great opportunity for Justin to get away from it all and start over. And I'm totally on Justin's side in this but I can't help to feel sorry for Conor. I'm not sure all of Conor's friends support him and even if they do, they still won't understand everything Conor is going through, not like Justin would. I think we will know in the next episode how Conor's friends react to him being out. I hope you're right.

Wow, thanks for sharing your take on this story with me. I have been curious what women viewers feel about the m/m components of a series. As I mentioned earlier in my previous comment, Justin's motive might have been revealed in other parts of the episode that only those who have watched the full episode would know. As to Conor's closeted disposition, I just assume that Conor might have been in an environment where he does not feel his sexual orientation will be accepted.

I think you're right about Conor's enviroment. We know from season 1 that Conor plays football and from the preview of the next episode, there seems to be some issues in the locker-room...
