Been following and nothing much is happening with him. After a brief affair with his cop friend (mostly off screen) there are only support roles for him in the hospital and to his family.

A new romance for Jack kicked off in today's episode. Here are the spoilers from the official website, including today's ep (with my recap in brackets). Tues 23 Jan: Jack has a brush with fame. (He is speechless when a pro rugby player comes to the hospital for some publicity campaign. While they're alone in the elevator, the guy invites Jack for drinks but once they exit he immediately says that he meant as a group, with Sass. Jack feels foolish but his initial instincts are proven correct at the end of the episode when the rugger lays a kiss on him.)
Wed 24 Jan: Jack enters a secret world. (I guess he has to keep their romance a secret so as to not jeopardize his fling's league prospects.)
Tue 30 Jan: Jack gets a rude awakening.
Wed 31 Jan: Jack draws a line in the sand. |

Why is every one of his storylines tied to a new guy? There's a whole lot they could do with his character besides pairing him up with a new guy all the time.

Predictably, Jack's love life has fallen apart again. I guess that's the pitfall of having all his love interests be guest characters with the exception of Cam McCaskill (and they only paired together right before Cam was written out of the show).

Is this really the end already? They really rushed through it at the speed of light. In the course of today's episode Dion met Jack's family, hired Jack as PA (wtf?), then dumped him after being 'benched' (whatever that means), stating that he couldn't have a relationship and also succeed at training.
