So when will we see Diego and Ale's first kiss? Judging by how quickly these stories progress, I agree with dots80. Alejandro and Diego will begin sooner rather than later, most likely. |

I've watched all the episodes and there is no indiction on either of Ale and Diego's part that they are even remotely interested in the other and in the breakdown on Wikipedia, it says that Ale is in love with Sebastian, who is straight, and that Diego is a homophobic.
And besides all of that where do you guys get the notion that Ale's man, whenever he does get one, is going to be Diego in the first place?

I've watched all the episodes and there is no indiction on either of Ale and Diego's part that they are even remotely interested in the other and in the breakdown on Wikipedia, it says that Ale is in love with Sebastian, who is straight, and that Diego is a homophobic. And besides all of that where do you guys get the notion that Ale's man, whenever he does get one, is going to be Diego in the first place? Because of This Video Its in Spanish, but he basically says his character will have a romantic relationship with a guy, and since Ale is probably the only gay character in the show, we're assuming he will have a relationship with him. |

This is from Anthony D. Langford's column on AfterElton's website from February 1.: When Alejandro comes out to his parents, they will readily accept that their son is gay, but the school’s students will make the gay teen’s life a nightmare. Sebastian will be one of the few people who stands beside his friend and supports him.
However, it doesn’t mean that Alejandro won’t have romance in his life. Alejandro will have a tumultuous affair with school jock Diego Baron, played by Jonathan Freudman. Unfortunately, unlike Alejandro’s parents, Diego’s family won’t accept that their son is gay and will blame Alejandro for ‘turning their son’.
Also complicating their romance is that Diego will come to realize that he’s actually bisexual and attracted to women, prompting an insecure Alejandro to fear he’ll lose his boyfriend to a girl.
Yet, Diego and Alejandro will stick together and fall madly in love. But will they find their happy ending? We previously reported that Dangerous Relationship is Telemundo’s version of Fiscia O’ Qumicia, the Spanish teen soap and in that drama, gay Fer (whose counterpart is Alejandro in DR) met with a tragic fate and was shot to death in the show’s final episodes. Ooh, thanks for the article.
I cannot wait to see them fall in love and color me shocked...NOT! That Diego's parents will blame their son liking boys on Ale. As for his classmates treating him badly, they already mess with him as it is. And Sebastian standing by him doesn't surprise me one bit since he knows Ale is gay and has no problem with it.
And at least Diego is honest with Ale about liking both girls and boys. But I can't wait to see him falling for Ale, that should be interesting.

But can we please stop the tragic endings for gay characters? It's becoming WAY too redundant, and borderline cliche. This is probably one of the most complex stories being told. I've never seen a bisexual and a gay person relationship.
For however long this happiness lasts, I can't wait for these two to get together, and unlike regular US soaps, it moves fast and always leaves is wanting more!

You can clearly see the Alex story is being told with the awareness that many young gay people are watching this show. We had a Brokeback Mountain-esque bloody shirt flashback in today's episode, so it does look like something's brewing with Diego. Can't wait to see how that will play out. ;D
I will be royally pissed if Ale goes the way of Fer, Edwin, Reid, Pavel, Kieron et al. I can't take any more tragic mourning scenes. Give us all a break for crying out loud. Have him go away to college, join the Peace Corps, fly to Mars, anything!!

The show just started a three weeks ago. And just because Fer was killed doesn't mean the same thing is going to happen to Ale.
