Summary: Will tells Marlena that he doesn't think he is gay and wants her to forget what he said. Marlena can't behave as though it didn't happen. Will is worried about his parents' reactions. Marlena says that if his family can't accept who he is then that's their problem but if Will can't accept who he is, he'll be very unhappy. Marlena questions Will's views of what's normal and what's a family. She tells Will that gay people can have spouses and children. Marlena encourages Will to go for it. She says that people take what is given and most of the times, what is given is better than what people could have imagined for themselves. Will confesses that when he is with Sonny and his friends, he feels like he fits in. Marlena admires Will's strength and honesty and reassures that it gets better. Summary: EJ orders Will to spy Nicole for him. Will questions the amount of work and EJ suggests him to take a leave of absence from school. Marlena overhears and confronts EJ about his suggestion. EJ agrees to schedule around Will's classes. EJ says he has Will's best interests at heart and thinks he is the only person that does. EJ tells Marlena he wants Will to have the opportunity to be who he is without the fear of any judgment. After EJ leaves, Will joins Marlena to talk over coffee. Will asks her to give him space. Will reveals to Marlena that he knows who he is and figured out who he wants to be but he isn’t ready to broadcast that to the world yet. Marlena understands that this is his journey but she will love and support him no matter what. He asks "Even if I'm a gay man?" Marlena answers no matter what. Will finishes his coffee and wonders whether she noticed he said he is gay. She did indeed.

Summary: Marlena finds Will and Will reaffirms that he is gay. No more fakesies and he won’t take it back. He is tired of fighting the truth. Marlena tells Will that he told her he is gay and everything still the same and she still loves him. Will can’t believe he said “I’m gay”, “I’m homosexual”. He feels relieved and as Sonny said, it’s like a huge weight has been lifted from his shoulders. Will tells Marlena that he is definitely gay but he feels like he gave up couple of his hopes and dreams. Marlena tells Will that being gay does not mean he has to give up on his dreams. They may just take a little different shape. Marlena asks Will if there is anyone else he can talk to. Will brings up Sonny. Will knows Sonny knows about him. He tells Marlena that he has talked a lot with him already. Will is worried about Gabi’s reaction because she might feel he led her on. He is also worried about Sami and Lucas’ reaction. Marlena reassures that even though the road might be bumpy, he is going to be happy.

Summary: After coming out to Marlena, Will arrives at the coffee house and asks Sonny if he needs help. Will comes out to Sonny and Sonny is joyful. Sonny congratulates Will over coffee. Will talks about Marlena’s reaction and then asks Sonny how long he has known about him. Sonny confesses that his gaydar was hardly ever off around Will and Will’s kiss with Neil sealed the deal. Will talks about coming out to his parents. Sonny encourages him. Will doesn’t want to tell Sami but Sonny suggests Will to tell her. Will tells Sonny he wouldn't have gotten this far without him. Will has watched Sonny interact with people. He admires that Sonny is so easy going, natural and is always the same person with everyone. Sonny tells Will he is a great guy.
