Summary: Adrienne is stunned when she sees the video of Sami attacking Bernardi on her phone. Knowing Sonny sent her the video, she tries to bring it up, but he cuts her off, thinking she's attacking Will's family once again. He encourages his mom to give people the benefit of the doubt. Adrienne takes Sonny's words to heart and goes to Sami to get her side of the story. Earlier, Sami is irked when Marlena admits she had some words with Adrienne. Later, Marlena and Will have a heart-to-heart about Sonny.

Summary: After another blowup with Sonny, Adrienne goes to Abe, determined to protect her son from Sami and Will. She manages to get immunity for Sonny before showing Abe and special prosecutor Melinda Trask the video of Sami attacking Bernardi. Melinda insists to Abe that they arrest Sami immediately. Meanwhile, at the school reception, a blissful Sami informs her family that she and EJ have set a wedding date. But everything comes crashing down when Abe and Melinda interrupt the reception, and Abe is forced to arrest Sami in front of the entire crowd - bringing scandal and chaos to Eric's big day.

Summary: To everyone's shock, Abe arrives in the middle of the school reception to arrest Sami. Sami protests she isn't going to let this ridiculous misunderstanding ruin her brother's big day, but to it's pretty clear that's already happened. She's brought to the station where Melinda gets Sami to repeat her story - most notably that she never knew Bernardi before the shooting. And with that, Melinda pulls out the video and dramatically demonstrates that Sami is lying. To make matters worse, Melinda brings in Marge and asks her to be by her side when she announces that new charges are being filed. Marge is accompanied by Adrienne - and Justin, Will and Sonny realize she's the one who brought the video to the police.

EPISODE 298
24th July 2013



Summary: EJ, Justin, Will and Sonny are stunned when they learn Adrienne was the one who went to the police with the video of Sami fighting with Bernardi. EJ goes after her and has to be restrained. When Sonny leaves, all he can muster is a look of disgust for his mother. Alone, Justin angrily rips into Adrienne for what she has done. He later turns his anger towards EJ for not telling him about the video. He declares EJ needs to find another lawyer for Sami because Justin quits. EJ later gives Adrienne a stern warning. Sonny and Will wind up at the pub, where Chad has been meeting with Brent about the redesign of the coffee house. Brent's too excited about his ideas to notice what's going on, and Will snaps at him to save it for another time. Back at home, Sonny realizes he must have inadvertently supplied Adrienne with the damning video and apologizes to Will. Chad promises Abigail he will protect her from any repercussions stemming from Sami's case.

Summary: Gabi and Will bring the baby to see Rafe. He's disturbed off seeing the newspaper headline about Sami but covers to spend time with the baby. After Gabi and Will leave, Rafe forces Kate to reveal Sami shot Bernardi in order to protect him.

Summary: EJ visits Sami in jail and cheers her up with a video of the kids. He's hired another lawyer, but she's concerned how it will look that Justin dropped her case. Meanwhile, Sonny pleads with his father to remain on Sami's case. Justin finally agrees and arrives in time to accompany Sami to her bail hearing. Rafe is visited by Marge, who begs him to tell everyone her husband was not a dirty cop - she wants to make sure Sami is convicted. Kate intervenes, and later Rafe becomes agitated at everything that was kept from him. He wants to talk to Sami, but a nurse administers a sedative. Later, Hope tells Kate that Rafe will surely be called to testify against Sami. Earlier, Chad confesses to Justin he was the one who taped the incident between Sami and Bernardi. Abigail tries to come clean about keeping quiet about the video, but Chad won't let her. Adrienne pleads with Sonny and Will to understand why she came forward with the video, but they are unwilling to forgive her. Adrienne confides in Maggie that she's not sure she did the right thing. Maggie confronts Nick about how in denial he has been about his trauma in prison. Hope expresses concern as well.

Summary: Sami is bolstered by the appearance of Eric at her bail hearing. Justin, Sami and EJ are optimistic she will make bail until Melinda brings in a surprise witness - Abe. He reluctantly admits he overheard EJ promising to do whatever it took to get Sami out of her predicament. Aware of EJ's resources, the judge denies bail. Afterwards, Kayla shares possible good news with EJ - after double-checking medical files, she thinks Sami's bullet may not have been what killed Joe Bernardi. Chad meets with Stefano. He has little use for his father, but Stefano makes him an offer - he will truthfully answer any question his son wants to ask. Chad asks if Stefano sent Bernardi to kill Rafe.

Summaries: Marge confronts Sami in her jail cell, shaking her up. Later, Justin tells EJ and Sami the judge agreed to exhume Bernardi's body. While EJ and Sami rejoice, Marge confronts Justin, telling him that's not going to happen.
EJ and Sami celebrate the court order to exhume Bernardi's body. But their joy is short-lived when Justin calls with Marge's bombshell - she had her husband cremated. Sami is devastated, knowing this could've been her last chance at freedom.

Summaries: Maggie asks Will if he and Sonny are having problems.
Justin asks Rafe to help Sami. Kate is outraged and brings Kayla in to get Justin to back off. Later, Rafe confides in Kate that he fears he might never walk again. Later, Kayla informs Kate she's hired one of the therapists Kate secretly submitted for Rafe. Earlier, Adrienne asks Kayla for support in handling the Sami situation. Kayla's not pleased with Adrienne's actions, but ultimately supports her. Adrienne later runs into Justin. She tries to talk about their relationship, but he's still cool. She's left to wonder if her marriage is over.

Vargas ends up punching the other man, and Chad gets injured trying to break up the fight as Abigail screams out.

Summary: The grand opening of Sonny and Chad's new club is marred when Vargas gets in a fight with a guy who hit on Theresa. Hope arrives with backup, and Vargas is arrested when they find drugs on him. Theresa, meanwhile, has made herself scarce and heads back to Vargas' apartment to steal some cash. At the station, Hope informs Vargas he's going back to prison. He tells Hope that Theresa Donovan is trouble. Stefano makes an unwelcome appearance at the opening, and Kate confronts him with the real reason he sent Bernardi to Rafe's room. EJ puts a forensic accountant on the trail to find out where Bernardi might have hid the money Stefano paid him. Coming up empty, EJ pressures the man to cook the books and backdate a large deposit in Timmy Bernardi's account to "prove" the boy's father was on the take.

Summary: Kate tries to make amends with EJ, but he isn't having any of it. Later, he's pleased to learn the accountant was able to transfer funds to make Bernardi look like a dirty cop. Meanwhile, Melinda offers Sami a deal - if she pleads guilty, she will receive a shortened sentence of 10 years. However, she must also give up information on EJ to put him away - which Melinda then wants to use to get EJ to turn over Stefano. Sami is appalled by the idea of risking EJ's freedom. Melinda gives her time to think it over. Sami asks Justin what her chances are. She's still considering the deal when EJ arrives... Later, Kate and Will visit Rafe, and all three are subpoenaed to testify against Sami as witnesses for the prosecution.

EPISODE 316
26th August 2013



Summary: Kristen realizes EJ is willing to do anything for Sami and warns him to be careful. Meanwhile, Sami presses Justin for his opinion on bargaining Melinda down to five years, maybe less, for giving up something on EJ (so he could, in turn, give up Stefano). Justin can't believe she's even considering it, but Sami is sure she and EJ can both get away scot-free. Justin warns this could backfire, and she and EJ could both end up in prison. Roman visits Sami, and he can't offer much encouragement for her chances of acquittal. Adrienne tries to get Roman to admit he'd go to the same lengths she did to protect his child. Later, she has another tense encounter with Justin. Justin later advises Will and Sonny to tell the truth on the witness stand. Nick gets paperwork certifying he's a free man - his parole has ended early. He runs into Will and Sonny, and it's still awkward with them. When he learns Gabi's home alone with the baby, he goes over and helps her with her schoolwork. Will arrives and is not pleased - which he makes clear to Gabi once Nick leaves.

Summary: Gabi blasts both Will and Sonny for trying to run her life by telling her she can't see Nick. They insist they are not trying to do that but admit they're both still uncomfortable with Nick after all he did. Gabi maintains Nick's changed. Meanwhile, Nick talks to Maggie about being a free man and moving out of the mansion.

Summaries: Justin breaks the news to Sami that jury selection did not go well. A despondent Sami ponders the possibility of life in prison, while a suspicious Justin warns EJ not to operate outside the law to "help" Sami - which in the end will only seal her fate. Meanwhile, Sami meets with Melinda - and seems ready to trade EJ's freedom for her own.
Sami makes a deal with Melinda - she will provide evidence against EJ in exchange for a shorter sentence. It will be made even shorter if she can give up Stefano directly. Meanwhile, EJ learns his setup to prove Bernardi was dirty could possibly backfire and ruin Sami's case. He returns to Sami, who shocks him with news of her deal. He must help her get evidence against his father - or she's going to have to give up evidence against EJ.

Summary: EJ is stunned by Sami's idea to flip EJ to the prosecutor in exchange for a lighter sentence. A desperate Sami defends herself, pointing out he can then do the same to Stefano and cut a deal of his own. Melinda returns and wonders if they still have a deal. Sami makes the difficult decision and says that they do not. Sami apologizes for putting EJ on the chopping block. Will tells Sonny he regrets giving Gabi a hard time over letting Nick have access to Arianna. Later, Sonny and Gabi make amends... but a surprising discovery ruins their short-lived truce. Against this, Nick asks Will if he was upset about him holding Arianna. Will finally vents as he lets his cousin know it's too damn hard to just forget everything Nick put him through.
