The big double day of matrimony comes to a halt when it's revealed Ben Weston is the man who interrupted the nuptials

Everyone at the church reacts to Ben's presence, but it's Abigail who takes a swing at her murderous ex-fiancé

Salemites rush to constrain Ben, but, before he can be carted off, he blurts out a shocking revelation -- that Will is alive

Along with everyone else, Sonny reacts to Ben's bombshell, and he later confronts his husband's killer face to face

Ben confirms his beliefs with Sonny in a holding cell, but the unbelievable news might be too hard to believe

Thought Ben's blindsiding confession is discussed by many, it's Sonny and Paul who are hit hardest by the alleged truth

Knowing the truth must be revealed, Paul has a suggestion to answer the question if Will is alive once and for all…

Paul suggests that Will's body is exhumed, but that plan hits a major legal problem, which leads to another roadblock

While Salemite's struggle with what Ben had to say, Lucas is also hard hit by the news, but he may come to an even more shocking conclusion

As Sonny and Paul's wedded bliss is backburnered for the time being, Chad and Abigail may still get to say, "I do"

Not sure how accurate this is but there appears to be a rumour going around that Will might suffer from amnesia. Again, at this point it is just a rumour.

Week beginning October 9th

Paul persuades John to help him dig up Will's grave.

Sami appears and is appalled at what they are doing.

They appeal to Sami to give the go ahead for the exhumation.

At some point in the next couple of weeks Sonny will travel to Memphis to try and find Will.

Week beginning October 9th from Soapcentral

Hope gets some answers from an imprisoned Ben, but there are still a lot of questions unanswered as the mystery of Will's death unfolds

Hoping to get answers about Ben's claim that Will is alive, Kate goes to prison to visit with former fling Clyde

It's not exactly a warm reunion for Kate and Clyde, but she rips into him with hopes of discovering his connection to Ben's claim

Kate shares her findings with Will's other loved ones, who continue to question Ben's claim with mixed emotions

An emotional Lucas breaks down on Will's gravesite and has another otherworldly visit with his dearly departed son

Despite the legal roadblocks, Paul persists that the only way to get the entire truth about Will is to dig up his grave

Met with resistance, Paul takes matters into his own hands and meets with John, whom he asks to lend him a helping hand

John isn't too keen on the task but supports Paul, and the two go to work digging up Will's resting place

Much to their surprise, John and Paul are put in their place when an unexpected guest visits Will's grave, and Sami instructs them to stop

Sami and Lucas have an emotionally intense reunion.

There is a rumour that a new love interest will enter the gay storyline.

Doctor Rolf is back.

For those not familiar with Dr Rolf, he was one of those soap opera do everything doctors who mainly worked for the Dimeras doing all kinds of very dodgy things. Speculation is that he might be the person who Clyde identifies as the person who told him that Will is not dead and the reason that Sonny heads to Memphis.

Mad scientist, Dr. Rolf, is back in the picture and Hope has more than a few questions for him about Will

A seething Sami also seeks out Dr. Rolf, but the questioning escalates when Sami steals Hope's service weapon

Holding Dr. Rolf at gunpoint, Sami wants answers and she wants them now, but Hope wants her to calm down

Under pressure, Dr. Rolf eventually confesses that he did sneak into the morgue in disguise and revive Will

Dr. Rolf admits Sami's son is alive, but he doesn't know for certain what happened to him afterwards

A shocked and somewhat skeptical Sami also wants to know who exactly Dr. Rolf is working for as she believes it's Stefano

A cornered Dr. Rolf assures Sami and Hope he wasn't working for Stefano, but refuses to give up his mystery employer

Dr. Rolf leaves Sami and Hope guessing the identity of his employer when Dr. Rolf kills himself in lieu of giving up his boss

Losing the lead hit's Sami and Hope hard, but Sami's even harder hit when Hope arrests her for her actions

Lucas and Sonny eventually arrive at the station to bail Sami out, but Sami's arrest doesn't sit well with Rafe, and he lets Hope know it

Things remain a little hostile between Hope and Sami, but that doesn't stop of from investigating Dr. Rolf's claims about Will

J.J. and Lani are brought onto the case by Hope, but it's a cryptic clue later that sends Sami, Sonny, Paul, John and Marlena to Tennessee

While Paul's prickly predicament with Sonny sees him getting some tender, love and care from John, Sonny ends up in intensive care

As Theo's skillset is sought out by Kate, Sami, John, and Marlena seek answers in Memphis, which leads to a surprising reunion
