Thanks, bernatfan! And ygwanwyn, for the pointers. I've seen the episode. I also see Alejandro is back on YT posting episodes with Spanish subtitles from last week. (I can follow much better seeing the Spanish than I can from hearing Catalan!)
Looking forward to understanding more over the next couple of days! Also looking forward to seeing Bernat on La Nit del Cor.
Thanks again! You guys rock.

Thanks for the clips. Is Clara in prison for the time being or is she leaving the show? Maybe no one knows for sure?

I love the revised "I love Iago, Clara" tee shirts that Bernat and Marc are wearing.
Thanks for the info on Clara, ygwanwyn.

They're too cute! Loved the little hand kiss thing. It really shows that they're having a great time with the characters and storyline

Thanks, Bernatfan! I really enjoyed the clip from La Nit del Cor! Do we know what's up with Bernat Quintana for next season? From the finale it looks like he'll be back. ?? Thanks, again! . Yep, he'll be back! He confirmed he'll stay with the show for at least the first part of next season. It's a little uncertain after that, but he did state that the rumors that he's leaving are "just rumors." Also, Neand48: The singer of that song at the end is Laura Guiteras, the actress who plays K. It was written by a musician from the band she is part of. I agree with you, she sang it so beautifully!! You can find a link to download an mp3 of the song here: www.youtube.com/watch?v=ww0Y_fq29Yw

ygwanwyn, thanks for the good news on Bernat. I'm glad that he will be around for at least part of next season. I think that he should be moving on to bigger and better roles for his career. I think that he is a talented actor in the mold of Javier Bardem. Bernat should be in the movies.

He did such a good job on the TV movie Jo el Desconegut it would be nice to see him in other things. It's great to have him on el cor though at least we have access to the daily shows.

Yep I totally agree as well. He was simply perfect in Jo el Desconegut, and I very much want to see him in another movie like that. Simone, I agree that he has the talent of someone like Javier Bardem, but it also helps that he's got the looks of someone like Brad Pitt! Speaking of which...Bernatfan, thank you so much for that picture from Jo el Desconegut. That's seriously one of the nicest pictures of Bernat I've ever seen!

Thanks Bernatfan for the clips.
What I would like to know is this:
1. Does everybody in Catalunya also speak Spanish?
2. How popular is the show?
Thanks...

Thanks Bernatfan for the clips. What I would like to know is this: 1. Does everybody in Catalunya also speak Spanish? 2. How popular is the show? Thanks... Well I can answer part 1 now, and hopefully get back to you with some statistics on part 2 which I think were posted on the TV3 forum. Yes, for all intents and purposes, everyone in Catalunya speaks Spanish. Of course, not everyone in Catalunya speaks Catalan, as can be seen even in "El Cor." For instance, Oscar's grandfather, you may have noticed, always speaks Spanish rather than Catalan, even though others speak Catalan to him. However, back to the point: what I've been told is that children in Catalunya learn the two languages side by side, at the same time when they are young. There is also (I believe) 2 hours of mandatory education through a Spanish medium per week in Catalan schools. So yes, everyone in Catalunya can speak and understand Spanish. You have to keep in mind though the (often contentious) political situation, which is tied up with the language, of course. But that's another story.

Okay, here's part 2 This info is from this post (http://forums.ccrtvi.com/viewtopic.php?t=131921) on the TV3 forum: the last season of El Cor obtained about a 26% share on average. Meaning, on average 26% of television sets in use were tuned in to the program.

Thanks for the links, Bernatfan! You liked Marc's jeans (they did seem a bit casual for the occasion!), but I like Bernat's jeans, too. Max always wears such baggy clothes, it was fun to see Bernat wear something different. Can anyone tell us what the guys say in their salutations (Dani?)? Gosh, I totally forgot to thank you, Bernatfan, for the links! Thank you so much!! I've put below a translation of what Marc and Bernat said in their salutations. I can't understand one of the words Marc uses, so I had to leave it out: Marc Clotet: Hello everyone, many thanks here for being at the Gala, we hope to ( ) the episode, and...that's it, a very strong hug, with many kisses, bye! Bernat Quintana: A very big hug for all of the followers of El Cor! (Blows kiss)

A couple more salutations:
Silvia Sabaté (Clara): Hello, hello to all of the fans and followers of El Cor de la Ciutat, hope you enjoyed the final episode. I thought it ended very well with a lot of surprises, and a lot of tension. So, at the moment, I'm paying for what I've done, I'm in prison. But I'm hoping one day I can get out, whether it's for good conduct or (something about lawyers...), a kiss for everyone!
Enric Rodriguez (Oscar): A greeting for all of the people who visit the web of El Cor de la Ciutat every day, like I do. Every day, on my favorites, I have the website, and I look at it. Everyday I read everything that you write. And I hope that next season, you keep doing it. A kiss.
