i have a few questions i was hoping someone could answer. so does Lalo live with Flaco (he seems to have a room in his house)? and if so why? are they related in some way - i think i read on here someoneon said they were cousins? thanks! and enjoying what i've seen so far Manuel and Lalo are not relatives, Lalo is Chiqui's cousin, the star of this football team. Manuel and his family (wife and children) live in Tato's house while they're waiting to have their own house. Lalo lives too in Tato's house.

as concern the binomial football/gay world, there is a real argentinian football player, his name is Jesús Alberto Dátolo, who now plays for an Italian team, S.S.C. Napoli, who has been sanctioned by the chairman of his club, Aurelio de Laurentiis, after posing in underwear for the same Argentinian gay magazine, Romeo.

I've never kissed another man in my life," said the actor Christian Sancho. That did not prevent a realistic interpretation of a football player in love with his teammate in the telenovela "Botineras." The first "botinero" of the Argentinian TV confessed to the magazine Caras that the scene recorded with the actor Ezequiel Castaño was "A Good First Win!" and that his inexperience in the art of kissing male lips did not prevent to imprint sentiement in the interpretation: "It was an intense and real kiss, "he acknowledged. "When I heard 'recording' I jumped into the pool," said Sancho, to whom his character "El Flaco" Ribeiro, a bisexual footballer who is married, has children and leads a double life, represented a challenge. And even more when he "madly falls in love with 'Lalo'"(played by Castaño) as anticipated. When Sebastián Ortega, producer of the program, shouted: "Cut, 15 retake" the cameras were turned off and Sancho returned to be himself and not Riveiro. But after broadcasting the scene in the locker room of the club, the actor began to receive all kinds of responses from the public. "The other day I came home early with my wife and some sweepers cried out 'Hey, Ribeiro, your wife is tremendous, but if you are good with us we give you some kisses', and I laughed" the actor told us, he is the father of Gael, hisfirst child, a month ago with his partner, Vanessa. p.s. I don't speak spanish...and my english is not so good, pls forgive me

Ladies & Gentlemen, we can breathe a sigh of relief.... good news Lalo is innocent, he didn't kill Giselle.... this woman (Mirtha)did it En el capítulo de hoy finalmente se vieron las las pruebas que culpan a Mirtha de la muerte de Giselle. Finalmente Mirtha se vió obligada a contarle la verdad a Arregui y confesó ¡Yo maté a Giselle!that's good, no more problems with the police for Lalo.

Lalo, basically, told Manuel that he should choose his wife, stay with his family. That if this thing was so difficult they should just forget it. To which Manuel said that he was in love with Lalo...and Lalo, pressed by Manuel about his feelings, replied... Yo te amo Flaco

You mean when they're talking in the park? If so, Lalo, basically, told Manuel that he should choose his wife, stay with his family. That if this thing was so difficult they should just forget it. To which Manuel said that he "was in love with Lalo" . I mean the episode 17 from 2.35 when they're in the bed. Lalo said something about Manuel's wife and their situation...

Regarding the first scene of the kiss, the actor who began his career in "Chiquititas" said "I didn't know what was going to happen between the characters." "I learned we were going to record the scene of the first kiss almost on the fly. At that moment I spoke with a producer not to neglect any detail. Nor sensitivities because obviously we didn't want to hurt the gay community. We take care of the scenes and actions from the beginning, not just kissing. "
For the preparation of scene, both Sancho and Castano spent more than an hour with one of the producers to test looks and gestures. Then they went to lunch and when they returned, they rehearsed the kiss again and then film it. "In an essay not strip all the meat on the grill, so the recording came out so tasty and so was the first time that I have to give a kiss to an actor," confessed the actor, 28.

Christian Sancho in "Botineras" plays the role of Manuel Riveiro, also known as "El Flaco". Manuel is an Argentine football player who spent his latest years playing for an Italian team. Now he's back in Buenos Aires and plays in his old team, El Deportivo Cristal, in which he grew up as a player, to end there his career. "El Flaco" is married with Lili (played by Guillermina Valdez) and he's the father of 2 children. Temporarily they're all living in Tato's house (Damián de Santo who plays the manager of the club) waiting for their new own house to be ready. Manuel has a secret, he leads a double life as he's gay and by now he has a relationship with his teammate Lalo Roldan.

Ezequiel Castaño (born April 12, 1981), is a well known Argentine actor. Biography Castaño grew interested in acting. He also became a fan of soccer as a child. Castaño's debut as an actor came in 1995, when he played Maria Jimena Piccolo's brother, "Christian", also known as "Mosca" in the Telefe telenovela, "Chiquititas", produced by Cris Morena. Castaño sang "El Beso" ("The Kiss"), a ballad, on Chiquititas' soundtrack. "Mosca" was a strong, healthy teenage boy who was suddenly diagnosed with muscular dystrophy. He went to Cuba to receive treatment and then returned to the orphanage where he and his sister "Jimena" lived at. After "Chiquititas", Castaño acted in 1998's "Verano del '98", where he once again acted alongside fellow "Chiquititas" stars Agustina Cherri, Celeste Cid, Catalina Artusi, Diego Mesaglio and Guido Kaczka, among others. In "Verano del '98", Castaño played "Lucio Herrera". Ezequiel Castaño then took four years off before returning to acting on the screen. When he returned, he participated in 2002's "Franco Buenaventura, el Profe" "(Professor Buenaventura)". www.2all.co.il/web/sites1/celebs2000/PAGE8.asp

Interview with Cristian Sancho (in spanish) ¿Cómo llevas grabar las fuertes imágenes de “Botineras”? I used a translator (google) for the page, at usual it doesn't work properly but it's not so difficult to understand reading both the interviews translate.google.it/translate?u=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.botinerasentelefe.com.ar%2F2010%2F04%2Fentrevista-cristian-sancho.html&sl=es&tl=en&hl=&ie=UTF-8

@ homonikum Malo means "bad, evil, sick" in Spanish, we better find another portmanteau for them.. 40% of Argentinians have Italian ancestry, this affected their accent, and I like theirs more than that of Spain, who sounds a bit silly to us.. I'm Italian and I have to say that spanish is more understandable for me than the language spoken by Flaco and Lalo : ;D ;D ;D

Your welcome! I figured you guys wanted to see it I am kinda disappointed by the sex scene. I thought it would be something hot when I first heard about it. And the pictures made it look very sexy. But it wasn't. It was romantic, yes, but not exactly "sexy". I mean, it was an OK love making scene. It's not the worst I have seen, but I would have liked it more if it was a tad hotter. Oh well, I hope we get to see them have more sex in the upcoming episodes. It can only get better. I do love this storyline, and people have started to sub it too. Which is awesome! I think you have to remember that it's not a movie but only a soap opera. In this short clip we have seen more naked skin than in every other show, that's good....

bdc: Thanks again for the pics! Do you know where I can watch this scene? I tried looking for it on Youtube, but nobody has uploaded it yet.. I could only find previews of them having sex. To tell you the truth I was looking for the video in the jacuzzi via google when I found those pictures here www.botinerasentelefe.com.ar/, there were no videos, just the images.

Maybe it could be Scarlett "spilling the beans" this time... btw this scene reminds me of the first public kiss between JP and Spike... they kissed while Craig, Sarah and Hannah were going outside the local pub (the dog in the pond). Hannah who still was in love with JP went again inside the pub crying followed by Sarah....while Craig stayed looking at the new couple in a strange way...

I was more interested in the title... "Eastenders' CHRISTIAN gets HIS MAN" I thought it was related to Syed....and not to John's partner...
