I guess when the social woker told Aaron about that the kid needs a stable home,he actually knows what that means. He knows what a kid needs and he also knows how it turns out when they don't get to have it. Aaron hasn't have the best childhood but Paddy has been the best ever dad he could to him. He loves Paddy as his father, that will never change. Aaron did the right thing to tell the social worker, an Paddy will realise this to one day.
Paddy read thru the lines of Aaron, and could see that there is something wrong, and that this is the main rason for him to tell the social worker. Love that we have more Aaron/Paddy father/son scenes.
Wonder if the scenes between Aaron/Adam was the only one in this storyline, as there seems to be forgotten that they were the best of friends years ago..
Wish that Diane will have more deeper cnversations with Robert. Noone seems to ask him how he feels, if he needs something ect..

The big dark secret about Aaron and Gordon is something that later will chock the entire village when it will be revealed to them. I think it's a long way from that at the moment, but everything sooner or later comes out in the open. And it will most likley come out when Aaron is ready to spill the beans..
At first everyone will asmume that Robert wants to but the pub only to get closer to Aaron.. But later on, I Think that Robert's reason for trying to buy the pub is that Aaron has told him his dark secrets about Gordon, and he knows what Aaron Thinks about him. So he will do it to help Aaron getting Gordon off his back, and away from Chas..So he can protect Aaron in a way.
I wish Robert will be by Aaron's side when he do tell everyone about Gordon.
Regarding evidence about whatever Gordon did, I think Sandra is a piece of the puzzle and she might have some of the answers about it.
Emma is very creepy about Moses, and I never like her together with him. He is better off even with Ross than her. Or anyone else for that matter.
Gordon knows more than he is letting people know about everything, and he has some kind of plan up his sleeve I think. He didn't even look chocked when Diane told him about Aaron and what have happened to hiim and that he is gay..
It will be interessting to see everything being revealed..

I guess Aaron got the blame that Chas left Gordon when he was kid. That's why he has problems with people betraying people..and trust issues.
Paddy never realised it, but today was another sign of something is not OK with Aaron as he is now smoking again. I think it will take long time for Aaron to really fully trust Paddy again. And sooner or later he will admit to being the one telling the problems Paddy has to the adoption lady.

I just knew it.. Aaron said he wouldn't betray Paddy, and as soon as he feels betrayed he does the same.
But I loved the coversation between them before he found out, and the first talk with adoption lady. He even calls Paddy his dad again. That was a long time ago.. Loved that he wished for Paddy to be his daddy since he was little. That says some about how he feels for Gordon. Wonder what really went on between them when he lived with Gordon?
Paddy needs to break it off with Tess. I never liked her. She's married too. Does the whole village cheat?
Robert's caring side is so good to see, and something I would like to see more of. Also family moments like today with Diane. I almost thought she was going to say something about Robert/Aaron when the mention of "it's not only Chrissie's fault" came up.. Would have liked that. Diane hasn't said very much about the whole Robert/Aaron thing to Robert. Not very many people in the village has..
I do hope there will be no adoption. Paddy needs to fix things in his family.

Maybe Kirin and his father starts fighting again about the DNA stuff about Johnny?? And since Kirin isn't very happy with his father at the moment he might even report him to get him of his back?
Just a thought,it doesen't have to be massive just because it's a spoiler? But who knows.. It might even be about Aaron/Gordon. We just have to wait and see..
I don't like the idea of a contest about who knows what and who is right about spoilers either. Just let people say their opinions and thoughts.. Everyone has a free mind, and we don't have to agree about everything all the time.

Yeah, the recent spoilers have me thinking it is more likely that Gordon sexually abused Aaron. Perhaps hitting Aaron is only part of what Gordon did when he was enraged at Aaron. Perhaps he also raped Aaron. Aaron's reaction to Chas mentioning the hitting does suggest that there's more to the story. Aaron being raped by his father is incredibly dark, but then the show has been warning that something very dark and heavy is coming. It's also possible that the spoilers - as often happens - are misleading. They could want us to think Gordon did something incredibly awful only to reveal that it was Sandra, thereby allowing Gordon to continue on the show and in Aaron and Chas' lives. I'm a little suspicious that Aaron whispers the big secret to Robert so that we the audience don't hear it. That has misdirection written all over it. We'll see... I'm very excited that Robert is apparently going to be there for Aaron and look after him. Maybe even fight for him. Can't wait! I hope that Robert will fight to protect Aaron from Gordon at any lengts. And at the same time support Aaron and trying to help him as much as he can.

I'm not sure why, but I think that if it really was just Gordon abusing Aaron, he would most likly get revenge at some point. The fact that he wants nothing to do with anything Gordon related says more.. What if what Gordon did to Aaron he also did to his sister and that it might be the reason Sandra left him? She might have caught him doing something to either Aaron or his sister.
I like the thought of Robert being by Aaron's bedside when he is in hospital. He more than cares for him. Victoria clearly has seen this too as she keeps mention it to Robert.. Which is why I like them together. I just wish Diane and Robert had scenes like this too.
I think the reason Robert tells Chas that they spent the night together is so that she won't find out why Aaron hasn't been home all night, and so that she won't find out about the self harm.
Robert will most likely drop a hint or more to Gordon that he knows Aaron's secret, which makes me Think that if Gordon stays in the village he will do it in fear of Robert telling someone else. Or that Aaron might do.
Robert looked very chocked by what Aaron told him so I guess it's something very toxic.
Looking forward to seeing this new side of Robert.

Maybe at some point Aaron's sister is the one to seek contact with either him or Gordon?
What if Chas and Gordon at some point have another baby, and this makes Aaron start to think about the sister he already have, but haven't seen for years? This could also be the reason for Gordon to seek up his daughter again. I wonder if he has had any contact with his daughter since Sandra left him?

It's really strange how completely absent Aaron has been in all of Adam's baby drama. No, It's not strange that Aaron's absent.. The writers seems to have totally forgot that they were best friends years ago. Now they seem more like strangers to each other. Aaron haven't had any friends from what I've seen last few months. One scene here and there with Adam doesen't really make it believable, does it? Seems to me like they try to squeeze it in just for us to believe they are stll friends. I wish they could be there for each other like they used to be. These days they never share secrets or anything. I miss this. I miss the Aaron/Adam moments and everything that just made things happier for them in the past. Please bring it back writers!

It would be an interessting story if it turns out Aaron's sister is actually his daughter.. But I doubt that would ever happen. I want her to come to Emmerdale soon. I would love to see Aaron's reaction to seeing her. Wonder if she knows the reason Aaron was kicked out??

Didn't Aaron say something like Chas abandon him when he was around 8 years old, and that he went to live with Gordon then? If he was just 8, and he lived with Gordon till he was around 16/17 when he got kicked out..
A lot can happen to a kid who can't defend himself between these years. The spoiler said that the secret had something to do with Aaron's childhood.
I wonder how old Aaron was when Sandra came into the family? And how close she got to know Aaron?
It might be about abuse, something that either Sandra or Gordon found out or something Aaron did as a teenager.. Who knows. Whatever it was, it was so bad Aaron won't forgive Gordon..
Some things can be forgiven, some thing can't. I wonder how this will go?

Yes,I read it too. Can't wait for Aaron's secret to come out. Looks like Robert is telling Aaron to tell Chas about it but he refuses, and Robert keeps he secret.

But what is it Aaron is feeling so very guilty over from the past as soon as he saw Gordon arrive? Whenever he self harm, he do it because he feels guilty of something, right? I do think there is somethíng he knows or did to Sandra that Gordon might not have the full story of. Or maybe Gordon do know the whole story and has some plan up his sleeve that we are still unaware of?
Yes,I'm so looking forward for the week of the 18th January.. I think during this week we will see the start of the Aaron/Robert's new beginning..

Yes, Sandra keeps being mentioned. Pretty sure she was involeved in some part of the reason Aaron acts like this. I also felt that Gordon said that he hit Aaron was only a tiny reason of what was actually going on. Whatever happened between Aaron/Gordon or all 3 of them (Aaron,Gordon,Sandra) most likely was something going on for awhile and not just a thing happening in the heat of the moment..
Gordon's wallet was also most likely left at the Woolpack on purpose for Chas to find it. I'm pretty sure he returned with some kind of agenda, just can't figure out what it is yet.
Chas reacting to Aaron had been out running again, and she didn't even try to look for a reason.. If she puts Gordon before Aaron she's as bad as him.

Ross taking baby Moses just because his mum wants him is so wrong. We know Ross can't cope very long on his own with Moses from what we have seen earlier, and I really don't want Emma anywhere near the baby. She is acting like it is her baby. Ross isn't eve on the birth certificate.
When I heard that I started thinking that Moses isn't really Ross baby. But who else could it be? I wasn't watching when Ross and Charity was on so I have no clue.
Wonder how long Aaron will be able to hide his scars this time, and who will be the the one to see them first? Aaron looked surprised that Gordon had told Chas about him hitting Aaron when he was younger. I liked that they started taking about it, but I still feel something is missing in the story with Gordon/Aaron. It will be interssting to keep watching.

They might age Aaron a couple of years, then he would've been around 15.. ? I think he was still a minor when the police caught him with drugs and called Chas.
Does Aaron saying that Sandra finally saw sense means that he had tried to talk to her about Gordon, but she didn't listen to him? Maybe it took her a little longer than Aaron to realise that Gordon wasn't good, and she did leave not long after Aaron was kicked out.
I guess Sandra is just one piece of the puzzle in this, just can't figure out where she fits in.
I'm looking forward for Aaron telling Robert some dark secret of his. Most likely it has somethig do do with what happened before he came to Emmerdale..

Interessting idea.. But how old would he have been when Sandra got pregnant? Around 15/16? That would really be something new, wouldn't it?
The more I think about it, the more I kind of hope it could happen. It would make us see a whole other side of Aaron. But anyway, Sooner or later this "sister" will come to Emmerdale, at least I hope we get to see her. In the end Aaron will most likely be very protective of her.

We know how Robert feels about Katie's death. The two people who matter know exactly how guilty he feels. Andy and Aaron know this. That is all that matters. It's been a year. It's done and dusted. Katie's death was an accident. It's that simply. Andy, finally, understands that and he and Robert have been working thought that. That is what matters. Nothing that happens with Ross matters because Robert is NEVER going to show his vulnerability to someone he despises and he HATES Ross. I don't take anything Robert says to someone he doesn't trust, seriously because he is the king of putting up a front when he needs too. The people he cares about: Diane, Victoria, Andy and Aaron are the people he is most honest with, that is what you have to pay attention to. Robert tried to deal with his guilt but trying to make Andy's life better, supporting him, keeping him from killing himself, etc. A man doesn't have to be curled up in a ball drinking themselves into a stupor to show how they feel. One of the things I like about Robert is that he is very layered, he can be cutthroat in his self preservation but he can ALSO be cutthroat in his loyalty to people he loves. He refused to believe Aaron shot him because he KNOWS Aaron wouldn't shoot him or anybody. He could have let Chrissie fry but he didn't because some part of him does love her. Letting Andy drive off that cliff could have solved a lot of his problems but we have seen many times that when it comes down to it, he loves his brother. He was willing to let Aaron beat him seven shades of blue just to give him an outlet for his repressed anger. Robert is a complicated man and his relationships are complicated and none of his relationships are as complicated as the one he has with Andy. Andy killed their mom by accident, Robert killed Katie by accident. That is always going to haunt their relationships but they struggle through it because, again, at the end of the day they love each other which is why they are able to hurt each other so deeply and which is also why they manage to work through it. You can't judge a character by how they behave in only one moment or what they say in one conversation, you have to look at them as a culmination of their experiences and their backstory. That is how you read a character. You have to look at their behavior in context, not just take things at face value. That's my opinion. Sometimes as viewers we know more about a character than even they know about themselves. For instance Aaron is always ready to be punished, willing to go to jail, even for crimes he didn't commit but after a while inside he's ready to kill himself. That is who he really is. In constant pain under the surface struggling to find a reason to stay here. Chas, Paddy and Cain know this which is why they freak out so much when he gets into trouble. But Aaron THINKS he's a hardman and that is how the village treats him. Even Victoria who has known Aaron very long time and who was very close to him was willing to believe he would shoot Robert in cold blood because she's buying the act he's selling but Adam knew the truth because he knows a version of Aaron that other folks don't. Complexity is what makes these characters interesting to me. They aren't good or bad, brave or cowardly, honest or a liar, they are all the things, like most folks IRL. As for Debbie, I was glad to see her tell Ross about himself but I was even more glad to see Finn tell Debbie about HERSELF. She does a lot of damage and takes no responsibility and I've never liked her. She, Emma and Belle could all get on a boat and float out into the middle of the ocean and I'd never miss them. Ugh. The worst. Completely and utterly self-absorbed, all three of them. THIS.. makes perfect sense.. So true.
