I feel like he’s meant to be more like Derek than Danny and if my memory serves me well, Derek wasn’t likeable in the first season he came off as the villain until it was revealed that the actual villain was his uncle.

I think the speed which the story is telled to fast. That could be really a problem. Especially for new Fans. I had fought they would introduce Claudia at the near End of Season 1. Or only at the 2. Season. SPOILER Luis is not gone, but I had thought they wait to break the relationship at the End of Season 1. To get Luis psycho again, like the first hints, that Luis stalked Lestat first. But Luis is normally to be the new vilian and not the boyfriend any longer. He make, created Lestat and Claudia, as Vampires, out of loneliness, out of boring time, because the eternity is to lonely alone. But at least in the movie, the time frame for the crazy but first looking good relationship between Luis, Lestat and Claudia was takes longer, years in the movie, till it Ends. Also that Claudia is frustrated, that she will not get older, allways looke like a kid for ever, this was is the first huge fight, because Lestat can totally unterstand Claudia more and more with time, than Luis and I think Claudia wants at a time, to kill Luis. But their plans don't works. Only to make Luis more angry. You got the two main characters names mixed up

If they go there, they go there, but that would be the end of the line for me shipping Eric and Adam, and that's what I was watching for. I'll always be Team Eric first though, and I won't see him punished for being turned into the villain like he has for being made to defiantly break 2 hearts over 2 seasons for the drama, by having these same 2 guys, one of whom bullied him for years, turn around and date each other so he can be hurt and jealous and regretful. So if they go there, I'm noping out. And plus, Adam is canonically a bottom (for the lolz), and that felt wrong to me too. Rahim can have him. You can't tell me Eric hasn't been dreaming all his baby gay life of his dream top man, only to end up the big spoon for Adam. But even besides that, I just don't even think the characterization is there for it to make sense between Adam and Rahim. Adam is in no place right now to be able to give his heart to anyone else any time soon, and Rahim is wise enough to know that and how far Adam still has yet to go and would only want to offer support. And also, I don't find them romantically compatible. The show made a point of how Eric and Adam connected over their humor and loud personalities, and Rahim is quite introverted and reserved. Next season, I would see the story more being focused around them all thinking about their adult futures given Moordale's pending closing, and they've got Adam's budding dog handler career and redeeming Michael to him so he can come out to his father and resolve the thread of that bad relationship. As for Eric, I see Maureen paying him a visit to let him know she knows lol, and I also see Rahim giving Eric Adam's poem. I think we could end up getting Rahim being a champion for their relationship bc he's that person on the outside that can see how much they still want to be together. Eric has to realize that maybe he was just feeling panicked about Adam's current limitations. If they're really over though, we still better get to see Eric happy. I'm just very disappointed and maybe a little in shock over where it went this season. I agree with you but this is sex education they probably establishing a polyamorous relationship between the three of them for next season

Another couple gets written out. How about keeping a gay couple together for a soap plot? It's a way for them to turn Rhys's character into a nun for the next two years because he will be morning the love of his life.

I think it's both (and one other thing). I think Aaron is still way too hung up on Robert's bisexuality. He can't wrap his head around it. I thought his transference of his feelings onto Kasim while beating him up was very telling. He's always had problems with Robert "admitting" his sexuality, so he's insecure about just why Robert is with him. And Robert has a questionable past - and a past with Rebecca (who has shown she still has interest in Robert). He has known problems with fidelity. He cheated on Chrissie with both Rebecca and Aaron. Aaron's even been on the other side (being the "other man"). That also feeds into his insecurity about Robert being faithful to him. Aaron has also long had problems feeling that he's "good enough" to be loved. His parents (and related figures) really did a number on him. He's come a long way over the last few years, but it's still deep in his psyche. I think this is what Robert was getting at when he broke off the engagement. I think this all feeds into Aaron being really unsure of himself and his place in Robert's life. It's the fact that Robert has a history of cheating that worries him I mean he went from Rebecca to Christie to him he's got a pattern of cheating that's the main thing.
