I would like to give this a shot but the title is throwing me off. 🤷🏾♂️ I've actually been enjoying this one, it's not on the level of badbuddy and kinnporsche but it is entertaining enough

Yeah, I just want to have some kind of sign whether this is getting renewed or not. We all know this is getting plenty of buzz in LGBT spaces, but the question is how much buzz there are in the mainstream I can only talk on behalf of what I have experienced, but even my grandparents have watched the show (and loved it). This might be more because of us being Norwegians, since we do watch a lot of Swedish TV, but many of the biggest newspapers have posted good reviews about the show so it has been advertised to the general public.

I think the story is okey, my only problem is that the actor of Ben looks exactly like a young version of my father wich make it weird to watch😕

The last episode aired today. I've watched it, and before I translate it, I have to say I was disappointed in how small part of this season actually having gay content considering what they said before it aired. Since season 1 won alot of awards in "gullruten"(norwegian awardshow) I had quite big expectations. The last episode was quite good, and had atleast alot more about Kasper, so I will start translating the scenes now. I have to say that it's not just the gaystorylines that have been bad this season, the whole season has been a let down.

so I think, the coming out story is about Espen.....probably the goalkeeper isn't gay , I don't think theywould do two coming out stories.... I'm not sure, but I read an article by NRK, where they said they hope this season would make it easier to come out in the football locker rooms. And to do that I feel that they have to have a gay footballplayer so i hope Kasper (the goalkeeper) get some air time the following episodes The article (it's in Norwegian): www.nrk.no/kultur/ny-heimebane-sesong_-om-homofili_-kynisme-og-foreldrerollen-1.14414258

After watching the last episode, it looks like its more than one gaystoryline this season. Looks like the goal keeper is gay.

Yes, we can't see any gay footballers in the trailer, but we don't know. And the one we see in the trailer is one of the main characters so its not like they will have a gay character in the background.

I'm Norwegian. Never heard of this show but will definitely look it up. Heimebane though?! What's with the Nynorsk? 90 % of Norwegians use Bokmål. The show should be named Hjemmebane. I know it's on NRK so they have to use Nynorsk for a certain number of their shows. Still annoying though. It has nothing to do with nynorsk. The show is supposed to take place in Ulsteinvik that is located on the north of the westcoast of Norway. Heimebane is dialect.

Axel Bøyum, Filip from "Eyewitness" And Morten Svartveit, Kristoffer from "Grenseland" Have big rolls in the show Rolf Kristian Larsen, Jarle from "Mannen som elsket Yngve" And Ole Christoffer Ertvåg, Yngve from "Mannen som elsket Yngve" Is in the trailer for season 2 so lots of actors from gaystorylines is staring in Heimebane

This is a show about a woman that gets an opportunity to be coach in a small football team in the highest league for mens football in Norway. Season 2 is coming now, and they hinted about a gay storyline this season.

For some reason people doesnt have the ability to search for themselves: This is racism in the Oxford dictionary: 1. Prejudice, discrimination, or antagonism directed against someone of a different race based on the belief that one's own race is superior. 2. The belief that all members of each race possess characteristics, abilities, or qualities specific to that race, especially so as to distinguish it as inferior or superior to another race or races.
Islam has nothing to do with racism, it has something to do with faith not race. To say that everyone in a group of people are racist because of their skincolour (no matter which colour) is a racist statement.
I really can't understand all this talk about how much racism there is in Norway when nearly none of you live there(here). Im not trying to downplay racism because it obviously happens, BUT it seems like people here think because Norway is a so called "white country" we are the "POCs" hell. But wouldnt more people be killed because of their skintone in Norway if this was the case? It's been 20 years since last time. How many other more diverse countries have that statistic? (Ofcourse no one have to be killed to call an action racist, but killings usually reflect how much crime there is in a country)
Yes it's harder to get a job here if you have a non-norwegian name, but that goes for all "races" also "white". Are most norwegians sceptical about outlanders? Probably, but once again that has nothing to do with your skincolour it's culture not race. Are most norwegians xenobhobic? Yes most likely. But so are all of you participating in this debate.

The show was made because of the lack of norwegian TVseries for teens and more spesific teen girls. The plan was never to make a show about boys because boys have enough representation as it is, strong teen girls on the other hand...
Sana is maybe the most important main they could have chosen at this time. With all the islamophobia going around.
Even and Isak will probably be a big part of the season because if you remember the video isak found when he stalked Even, mikael which is a part of sanas brothers gang was the one recording the video. In the video he describes Even as his bestfriend so the history behind Evens transfer to Hartvig Nissen from Bakka will probably be a little story inside Sanas VERY important story.(This is only speculation)

Perhaps it won't matter much since people will post translated episodes and texts elsewhere. It does make me feel unwelcome, though. It isn't NRKs fault. The music in the show was only paid by NRK for the rights for norwegian viewers. This is also the reason why they didn't make english subtitles on the web page. When the show got a more international following, the music companys ment that NRK broke their agreement so that is why they had to put GEOBLOCK on the videos. They are still trying to make it disepear though! Danish politicians even brought it up in the parlament because the danish people will not be able to follow the show online. So do not blame NRK, blame the music industry
