Good news, Bryan Dattilo fans! Expect LOTS more of Lucas when the new year begins!! In the past 7 months, Dattilo has appeared in just 15 episodes of "Days", but word is fans will be seeing lots more of Lucas when the winter months arrive. Dattilo needs 40 more appearances to become just the 16th actor in "Days" history to appear in 2,000 episodes.

what do u mean? as we know chandler is here till christmas I know that he'll still be there. I was just saying that that would be the perfect chance to switch Will over even if Chandler filmed past that. Not that I really think that they'd dump scenes that Chandler did just to splice in the new guy. If Will had just "Sonny-only scenes" or "Sonny/Gabi-only scenes", it would be more possible, but since the Christmas scenes involve a majority of the cast, there would be no way to re-shoot all of those scenes, so Chandler will be around until just after Christmas and Guy will debut right afterwards, with no extended break in between.

Jason may be able to confirm that this is true, but... when the set was first built, there was an interview with Camila in which I'm pretty sure she mentioned that's just what they call it. It's probably easier than writing out "Sonny/Will/Gabi Apartment" every time. Sonny's Apartment is the name of the set, what it's always been called. I list it as "Sonny/Will/Gabi's Apartment" in my monthly set list totals, but the real name of the set is Sonny's Apartment.

SEPTEMBER CH-CH-CH-CHANGES...NEW PRODUCER, NEW COSTUME DESIGNER, NEW HEAD OF MAKEUP: Randy Dugan has joined "Days of Our Lives" as a coordinating producer, effective with the September 30, 2013 episode. He replaces Tim Stevens, who had been in that position since June 2008. Dugan's most recent post was as the Executive in Charge of Production for The World Poker Tour. He previously had stints as a Vice President at Ex Nihilo, Inc., Hollywood Interactive Group and Bunim-Murray Productions...What was reported months ago has finally taken place on-screen: Costume designer Richard Bloore has returned to his post at "Days" after a five-year absence, with his first episode airing on September 24. He replaces Jayne Marie Kehoe, who had been the costumer designer for "Days" since August 2008. With Salem still being the "same day", expect some of the wardrobe to still be from the Kehoe era for the next week or so. Bloore, 58, started his career working for a rock-and-roll designer in the late 1970s. He started his soap career as the costume designer for "Santa Barbara" from 1984-1990. Bloore then joined "Days" as its costume designer in April 1990 and stayed with the show until August 2008. He was Daytime-Emmy nominated for his work at "Days" in 1997, 1999 and 2006. In an interview Bloore did in 2011, he stated that "I just hope I will get another chance at being a part of that family feeling (at work) again." Well, that chance has now come...As previously announced, Nicky Schillace, the husband of Lauren Koslow (Kate), has been named the head of the makeup department at "Days." His first episode aired on September 30, 2013. Schillace has big shoes to fill as he replaces Gail J. Hopkins, who had been in the position since February 1994. Ms. Hopkins is the record-holder for most Daytime Emmys won for "Days", with a record five Emmys, two more than any other individual in "Days" history. Schillace has been in the makeup business since 1973. He started his career in daytime at "The Young and the Restless" from 1984-1986, which is where he met his wife and won a Daytime Emmy in 1985. He also has worked at "Knots Landing" (1988-1993) and "Beverly Hills, 90210" (1993-1999). FIRST 5-DAY "SAMI-LESS" WEEK SINCE JULY 2011...ALSO SAMI'S LONGEST ABSENCE SINCE MISSING 6 EPISODES IN MARCH 2012: Alison Sweeney (Sami) was absent for the entire week (September 23-27, 2013) this week on "Days." Since August 2011, this is just the second time that Sweeney has missed 5 or more episodes in a row. She was absent for 6 episodes in a row from March 8-15, 2012. This is also the first 5-day "Sami-less" week since the week of July 25-29, 2011, during a stint when Sweeney was absent for 11 episodes in a row (July 21-August 4, 2011). Sweeney did put in a appearance behind the cameras though, as the director of the September 27 and September 30 episodes. JAMES SCOTT LEADS RANKINGS FOR FIRST TIME SINCE JULY 2012: James Scott (EJ) led the monthly rankings in September 2013 for the first time since July 2012. Overall, this is the 26th time Scott has led the monthly rankings. DAILY CAST CHART: Review each day's cast list from September 2013 at www.jason47.com/days/castcharts2013.html2013 Episode Rankings. Does "Jason" work for the show and if so how does he get away with revealing so much insider information? Frankly, until he's on screen actually portraying the roll, I don't really see what good knowing who he is can do. You won't know how he works in the role until he's on screen opposite Allison and Freddie, etc. I'm sure the show hadn't wanted to discuss the new actor because they don't want to distract viewers from the next 3 months of storyline. I was trying to avoid knowing anything about the new actor until he showed up on screen. Guess that's out of the question now. I really hope the show runners don't make a bit to do about the new actor and they just let him seamlessly move into the role. Chandler was a recast and folks got used to him. I was withholding the info but once Jen Lilley spilled the beans, the news was out there. I had no plans on releasing the info about Guy Wilson tonight, but since Jen Lilley did, there was no reason not to go ahead with my press release. It was Jen Lilley who announced the casting, not me. I had my press release prepared, but would not have posted it for several months. Wish I did work for the show, but I'm just a long-time fan!!

Charles Shaughnessy is returning to "Days of Our Lives" as Shane Donovan! Shaughnessy, who debuted as the ISA agent in 1984, returns to "Days" along with long-time leading lady Patsy Pease (Kimberly) for a limited run during November sweeps. Shane and Kimberly were one of the many supercouples "Days" made famous in the 1980s. Shane and Kimberly's daughter, Theresa, recently returned to Salem after not being seen since 1997. This will be the first time Shane or Kimberly ever share a scene with one of their children as an adult (their son, Andrew, also was last seen as a child in 1997). Shortly after leaving "Days", Shaughnessy went on to star on the hit sitcom "The Nanny", where he played Maxwell Sheffield, the love of series star Fran Drescher's character. This will be Shaughnessy's fourth visit since he left "Days" in 1992. His previous returns were in 2002, 2010 and 2012. www.jason47.com

Jason47's Tribute: Suzanne Rogers Celebrates 40 Years as Maggie on "Days of Our Lives"Suzanne Rogers joined the "Days of Our Lives" family exactly 40 years ago this Saturday, July 13, 1973. On that day, she auditioned for the role of farmgirl Maggie Simmons, a young woman whose parents were killed in a car crash. Maggie was also injured in that car crash and had to use crutches to walk. She got the job and taped her first episode # 1946 on July 18, 1973. "Days" was in the process of being preempted a record 20 times due to the Watergate Senate hearings, and so her debut episode did not air until much later than planned, on August 20, 1973. Over the course of the next four decades, Maggie survived an amnesiac husband (who was already married), a bout with alcoholism, the adoption of baby Melissa, the surrogacy of baby Sarah, the death of her long-time love Mickey, a new-found son (Daniel) and romance with a very unexpected Salemite (Victor). Rogers, meanwhile, won a Daytime Emmy (the first-ever in the supporting actress category), had to leave "Days" for a year while she dealt with the effects of her battle with myasthenia gravis (which was eventually written into the storyline) and the loss of her job for a few months when everyone in Salem started being killed off in 2003. Congratulations, Suzanne, on 40 years as Maggie. May you enjoy continued success and many more years of "Days!" Stop by Jason47's Days Website and check out this special tribute to Suzanne. Read her entire debut script from 1973 and her first wedding ceremony with Mickey from 1974. Check out many video clips of her time on "Days", including a scene from her first episode, Mickey & Maggie's first Christmas, Mickey giving Maggie the red shoes, and many more...including a funny blooper which must not be missed! Plus, see rare footage of Suzanne in one her last jobs before joining "Days", when she was a member of the Los Angeles cast of the play "Follies" in 1971. Also, be sure to check out a special collection of photos of Suzanne, showing her with all her leading men and many cast members past and present. Plus, read many of the interviews Suzanne has given through the years, and check out the special section "Maggie By the Numbers", which lists how many episodes Suzanne appeared in for every month she's been on "Days!" JENNIFER ROSE: THE BEGINNING: A JASON47 EXCLUSIVE! Although "Days" changed Jennifer's birthdate to September 11 many years ago, Jason47's Days Website will soon be adding the real story of Jennifer Rose Horton's birth. Find out all the details of how this long-running character was born in Rosie Carlson's farmhouse kitchen on February 6, 1976. Plus, later this year, two more Horton births get the full treatment, when all the details of Mike Horton's 1968 birth and Hope Williams' 1974 birth are revealed! KATE MANSI LEADS MONTHLY RANKINGS FOR FIRST TIME: Kate Mansi (Abigail) led the monthly rankings for the first time in her "Days" career. She becomes just the 139th actor in "Days" history to be a monthly episode leader. She joins a group including Jensen Ackles, Deborah Adair, Victor Alfieri, Blake Berris, Richard Biggs, Tanya Boyd, Matt Cedeno, Roark Critchlow, Judi Evans, Farah Fath, Shelley Hennig, Billy Hufsey, Wally Kurth, Eric Martsolf, Peggy McCay, Charlotte Ross and Michael T. Weiss, all of whom only led the monthly rankings just once in their "Days" career. Amazingly, another person who only led the rankings once in her "Days" career was Frances Reid (Alice Horton). She led the rankings in the show's second month on the air (December 1965)...and never again topped the list during the last 42 years of her time on "Days." OMG. Will's a drug dealer!! Seriously though, I thought I heard that DP quit Days. Are you sure he was fired? BTW, The pic of Dylan on the SOD website with shorter hair is really nice. He was under contract for 4 years, there was no way he could quit. He joined the show in 2009, so he was under contract from 2009-2013. At most, he could have asked the show to let him out of his contract, but they usually only do that for long-term vets, such as John Ingle (Mickey Horton), who asked to be let go so he could re-join General Hospital.

This question is for jason47 if he sees it. In the soap opera digest they said that jenson had also been on in 2012 played by Derek Magyer. Do you know what he did? Did rafe arrest him or something like that? Was emailed this same question recently! Maybe SOD was going off the info that Derek posted earlier this year on IMDB. He posted some airdates on IMDB shortly after taping his episodes in January, but for some reason, he used the wrong episode #s. Here's the info he provided to IMDB: Episode #1.11988 (26 December 2012) - Jensen Episode #1.11989 (27 December 2012) - Jensen Episode #1.11991 (31 December 2012) - Jensen Episode #1.11993 (2 January 2013) - Jensen Episode #1.11995 (4 January 2013) - Jensen Episode #1.12000 (11 January 2013) - Jensen The only U/5s appearing during that time frame were Sister Annabel, the 4 singers at Church, Nicky Jr. (the baby in Nick's fantasy), 2 female nurses and the hotel security guard.

I think Rafe will be in a coma from the attack. I also think I remember a tweet saying that a lot of people were going to be at the hospital. Marlena/Maggie/Hope/Sonny/Sami. So maybe it will like when Gabi was in the hospital. Showing everyone's side. I don't know if Sonny's family will be there. I don't remember them being mentioned. The ensemble shows have been good. Wedding, Gabi contractions, Nick blackmail. So I'm looking forward to them doing a good job here. Freddie is going to be going for supporting actor from here out, which is a much tougher category, so it seems like they are giving him the exposure he needs for that, which is good. Actually I believe Freddie is still eligible for younger next year because he will be 25 through the cut off date (there is a cut off date). Jason I am almost positive posted about this on DR. Jason if you are reading this can you please clarify ;D? As much as I want Freddie to have a chance this year, I honestly don't feel his reel is nearly strong enough . He explained why he picked what he did but I personally don't feel it's going to win him an Emmy. I feel so bad saying this because I am such a big fan of his. If you're reading this Freddie (never know) I still think you are an awesome actor and so happy that you did get acknowledged for being so committed to the gay story. I do hope that I am wrong but he was so much stronger (incredible) in a couple of other episodes, such as when Lucas interrupted Sonny and Will from having sex and also when Sonny confronted Will after Will pushed him away when the kiss happened. So hopefully he will get some truly juicy and emotional material with what is coming up that he can use for next year on an Emmy reel. It states this in the Emmy Rulebook: Younger Actress and Actor Categories Awards for Younger Actress and Younger Actor in a Drama Series (categories 25 and 26) recognize the work of Performers aged 25 and under. All individuals entering or show contacts entering on their behalf, must provide proof of age with entry. Please scan driver’s license or birth certificate and attach it to the online entry. I think an actor can submit scenes for the partial year they are 25. Don't know if that pertains to airdate or tape date. If it's airdate, then Freddie can submit for Younger Actor for the 2014 Emmys anything that airs from January 1-March 18, 2013. If it's tape date, then he could submit anything that airs from January-June 2013.

New castmember Jen Lilley has confirmed that Casey Moss is the new JJ Deveraux. She lists his debut as Friday, May 3, but that could be pushed to Monday, May 6 due to the news preemption earlier this month. Casey Allen Moss, 19, was born on November 16, 1993 in Kings County, California. He has done some modeling, but "Days" seems to be his acting debut.

Jason, Camila Banus leaving DAYS? Do you know something about that? 4 auditions in one day, she tweeted. That makes me wonder. Camila's in her third year of her contract now, so she might have some outs to do some primetime shows, like Casey has been doing recently.
