Cool that you looked it up. ;D Yes, what we call 'folkeskole' is from when you're 6-16 years old (you can be a year younger or older). Then we have 'ungdomsuddannelserne'. There are a lot of different 'ungdomsuddannelser'. It can take from 3-4 years depending on what you are studying. When you have finished that, you can move on to a higher level of education and study law for example (if you have a good degree from your 'ungdomsuddannelse'). So I finished 'folkeskolen' and 'ungdomsuddannelsen' and right now, I'm studying for 3 and a half year and I'm almost finished with my second year (1,5 year to go! ). But I didn't know what to study either and started at other schools, but then ended where I am now. I hope I have chosen the right education, but I'm still not completely sure... Nice to hear that you found the right education. How long did you study law before you quit and how far are you from becoming a teacher? So the assignments you'r doing, is that only regarding history? HO is just blowing up at the moment! And I just can't wait for the next episode and the next and the... ;D I thought it was so awesome that Ste walked out on Brendan! Loved it! The only thing that bothered me, was that Ste signed the contract Brendan gave him and he didn't even read it first! Why would he do that? And I get why it's difficult for the writers to keep the story interesting for Chrolli (all the others sl in VL are not that great either) but I just wish they would get some help then... I just hope Chrolli will get a new interesting sl (without any of them cheating!) They have to stay together or leave the show together. As you said, they can't be with anyone else.

When do you have to finish your paper? I'm a mess too when it comes to self-motivation... I always finish my paper the day before... at night usually! ;D I'm not sure what secondary school means... but I'm studying to be a social worker. What are you studying? And yes, Brendan was not very nice! But Doug really messed up big time... I can understand why Ste would be hurt. A nice big sl would be nice for Chryed. ;D It's just always sad that the characters disappear for such a long time (it's the same with Chrolli - although Christian is on screen some times at the moment...)

Just finished my paper... Hate homework! I guess the thing about Brendan is that he doesn't really have any limits. You can't be quite sure what he's doing next - he's very unpredictable. And he just have some funny lines sometimes. ;D I just watched the last couple of episodes from the Chryed sl. I thought it was very sweet the way Christian and Zainab talked to each other. It was nice to see them talking without fighting (and very happy to see Amira leave. Finally! ) But talk about removing characters from the set... Are the boys coming back again or...? And sorry harmonium. I didn't see it (our country sucked anyway.) But I guess Sweden won... (danm it!)

They do, but either Stendan or Stug - not... Bruglas. ;D This last spoiler about a foolish decision, whatever it is, at least tells us Ste doesn't say anything to Doug about setting Brendan up so that they can get rid of the debt, otherwise Doug would be waiting patiently on the side. I really, really don't look forward to seeing Doug's big blue eyes full of sadness and disbelief that Ste prefers his abuser over him, who has shown nothing but support and dedication... Me too. Personally I do believe Ste will keep his true intention of getting back to Brendan to himself. I can totally imagine how disappointed Doug is and how his beautiful blue eyes are going to look like. It's going to be so much sadder than that silent love confession scene. I agree. Don't think that Ste will tell Doug. I guess that means Ste really has feelings of love for Doug. And *sigh* Doug and his beautiful blue eyes!

He would! If Brendan could change and Ste could forgive Doug for lying, he would be really torn between them! ;D It looks like something will happen on the Later show that changes Brendan's life. Maybe Pa Brady comes to visit? That could be interesting! I read it will be really dark, so it could be. Do you know when it's going to be aired?

I would definitely love the drama! ;D Two hot guys wanting Ste = awesome! A love triangle would be amazing! Ste would be torn betweeen Doug and Brendan! ;D He would! If Brendan could change and Ste could forgive Doug for lying, he would be really torn between them! ;D

Literally scared to get 'hurt' again! And I can understand why Ste might still have some kind of feelings for Brendan. Brendan was the first guy he loved and they would probably still be together if it wasn't because of Brendan's 'issues'... But I really believe that Ste has very strong feelings for Doug, so I don't see these feelings going away any time soon. Ste thinks he's over Brendan. He's in for a shock! I would definitely love the drama! ;D Two hot guys wanting Ste = awesome!

I don't believe it to be love either. That wouldn't make sense. I just can't wait for the story to unfold! It may not be love, but he still has feelings for him. Or maybe he decides to leave the deli only to Ste because he thinks that Ste thinks he is better off without Doug... I think so too. I seriously can't think of any foolish thing that Doug can do. Unless he set Chez Chez on fire, which I doubt he will do this. I still believe Ste gone back to Brendan so he can protect Doug from Brendan. And when the spoilers mention that Ste declares his love for Brendan, I believe it's not even real. It will be an absolute slap in the faces of Stug's and Ste's fans if that declaration is true. I don't believe it to be love either. That wouldn't make sense. I just can't wait for the story to unfold!

"Doug makes a foolish decision"Could it have something to do with the new promo? The way Doug is shushing Brendan doesn't really make any sence unless Doug would do something foolish, like trying maybe to challenge Brendan in some way? Doug is never that cocky towards Brendan. ;D Surely he wouldn't be that foolish? Brendan is a lot bigger than him! I know. But what will Doug do for love?

Oh my god! I am so incredibly pissed off right now! Here in Australia Spartacus: Vengeance is airing on Gem, and I was so excited! I have seen the whole season before but only online. But they have edited out all of the good parts! When they swear in the show they either cut it out or change it to frick instead of fuck, and they removed all the sex scenes and even the first kiss between agron and nasir! Aaaaah!!!!! Then why show it? ;D And have they only edited out the first kiss of Nagron or all the kisses? It would be weird if it's only the first kiss because some of the other kisses are much hotter.

Stug all the way! ;D Love Brendan as a character, but he has to change if he want to be in Ste's life. And yes, Ste has grown a backbone and Kieron and Emmett have amazing chemistry. I love scene where Brendan comes to visit Ste and Doug in their deli and Brendan says to Ste: Aren't you gonna offer me a drink? Ste: No. Not at all. Not even if you were dying of thirst. Brendan: He loves me really... Okay. And then Brendan walks out. Such a small scene, but I just thought it was hilarious. And very interesting to see the new spoilers about Stendan. Can't wait for their scenes! I have to agree with you - both guys are gorgeous! What have bothered me about their sl, is that I think Christian suffered the most. I know that Syed was finding the relationship with Christian difficult because of his family, but it was heartbreaking to see how tough it was for Christian. And I found it very difficult when he was beaten and Syed's father just walked pass him. But maybe I'm remembering things. I think it could be nice to catch up on their sl. Glad to hear Amira is gone! ;D Never liked her character (for obvious reasons).

There were a lot of problems for me with their sl. I think JP & Craigs sl was rushed at the end, so the sunset ending kind of fell flat... But I do think that their sl was very dramatic and different, all though the Craig character was very difficult to like at times. The big reveal was awesome! ;D And I love the scene in the aftermath when Craig went back to Sarah, only to tell her he was in love with JP. DOOL = Talking a lot!!! Hope to see Sonny very soon. The dark years, that's right. I first started watching after most of the sl had aired, so I skipped most of it. Can't believe you sat through all of it! ;D But I have to agree with you, the guys had amazing chemistry and they made a very unique and beautiful ending for Roman. Even I shed a little tear. I had big issues with the violence as well. The only thing that kept me watching was the characters as individuals. I think that both Kieron and Emmett are doing a great job and I love how they embodies their characters. I just looked away when Brendan was hitting Ste (but was cheering a little when Ste hit Brendan with a baseballbat ;D). Poor Edwin. That was so sad and I haven't really watched the sl since he died. I did see a couple of episodes, but it was with Lucas being arrested and having troubles with a cop. Very boring...! And I hate when Lucas is playing the cocky rich kid. I have watched Christian and Syed's sl. I think it's awesome that they show a muslim being in a gay relationship, but there is so much I dislike about their sl. Syed's wife and his mother especially. And there were so many times when he was just horrible towards Christian. That was some difficult episodes to get through... Haven't watched it in a while. Heard they have been off screen for quite some time now. What is it that you like about Christian and Syed's sl?

So I'm posting this here, because I don't know if everybody have seen the latest episode. What did you guys think? I find it very difficult to believe that Brendan is feeling guilty about Joel... We never really see him caring for anyone other than his family (and I guess Ste?). Do you think the writers are going to make Walker seem more cold and crazy compared to Brendan? That Brendan could actually be human?

JP & Craig! Great sl and I just adore James Sutton. I hope it will help DOOL to get some new writers on the show. Sonny is the best character ever, but I guess we'll have to wait a bit to see him again. And I do think Chandler is doing an incredible job playing Will, they have just dragged the coming out proces for too long. It took a year from the rumours that the Will character would come out, to Will saying "I think I might be gay"... And I completely agree with you on Aaron's sl. The coming out scenes were incredible and very well acted. It just went down hill from there... If the writers ever think of bringing the Aaron charater back, I hope they will get another actor to play him. I skipped some big parts of Dero's sl. They had that 'dark period' in their sl (I think that was what the girls from youtube called it?) and I found that very dull. I do think both actors have done an amazing job with their characters, but after Roman's death I haven't followed Deniz sl. But what made Dero your favorite? Did you also follow the Stendan sl or have you only followed Stug? And what do you think about Lucas' (and Edwin's) sl?

That seems like a good reason to stay. I came to this board after watching ATWT (Nuke) and VL (Chrolli) on youtube. They were the first gay sl's I watched. I think I found a link someone posted to this board and the rest is history. ;D I never knew there were so many sl's and I think I've watched all of them (some are better than others). And like you, I really don't have anyone to talk to about the gay sl's, so I come here. Sometimes I join the discussion and other times, I just enjoy reading the others discussing. What is keeping me to this board at the moment, is definitely the Stug sl. The writers on Hollyoaks are amazing for giving their gay characters some great sl's. When I first got here, I was very interested to see the Will and Sonny sl, but that is dragging on and on and... I also loved Chrolli's sl, but for now they have been pushed to the background and it's a long time since they had a really great sl. And as I mentioned earlier in this thread, a lot of gay characters have been killed (or written) off in the last year or so, so that's disappointing. (I won't be missing Aaron though. )

I keep refreshing the youtube page like a psycho XD Thanks god it's in english so we don't have to wait for the subs...I remember back when I was into DeRo, during the summer I would stay awake or go out and then check the utube page at like 2 or 3 am... Lol.. me too! I'm refreshing every 10 seconds, simply staring at my laptop. it's too much.. I have to stop letting gay storylines take over me life. Watching the kiss clip on the tumblr page. After trying to resist for so long... Sigh. I have no self control I know the feeling. ;D

Why not? Amy and Ste have managed to stay friends. Brendan and Ste are not the same man. The circumstances of their violence were completely different and their backgrounds were different. Amy and Ste were both kids when they got together and Ste was already abused and damaged and doing drugs and being abused regularly by his family. Brendan is what Ste MIGHT have become 20 years late if he hadn't gotten help, gone to youth offenders, received treatment and counseling and worked VERY hard for years to get his act together, control his temper and become a better person. Brendan is a sociopath. He is written as such. He is psychologically incapable of change. He ENJOYS controlling others and manipulating people's lives. He's a very interesting character and Emmett is a glory to watch but Ste and Brendan are not the same. Ste was barely able to form words that weren't fueled by bitterness, anger and fear when he was 16 and beating on Amy. They had to be apart for years before they could even have a conversation. And, Amy STILL has issues about it as she references it from time to time. Ste has genuine remorse for his horrible treatment of her but he has grown into a wonderful young man who wants to love his kids and raise them to be good people and he avoids violence at all costs now. In all the time Brendan was abusing him, he only hit him back once (in any significant way) and it was to make Brendan stay away from him. Some part of Ste believed he deserved to be punished because of his treatment of Amy. That plus his coming out got all mixed up with desire and lust for Brendan. But I think Ste sees Brendan VERY clearly now. Even IF he's ever able to forgive him, he'll never forget and he'll never be able to be with him (now that he knows what it's like to be in a relationship with someone who isn't trying to control you with violence and manipulation.) I'm not mad at Brendan. I'm glad he's on the scene causing mayhem. I just want to see Ste's character's progression continue. I think Kieron and Emmett both know that these characters are linked forever but that doesn't mean they're going to be some sunset ending, endgame thing. IMO The point of all these interviews is to keep viewers interested and guessing so they're always going to dangle some Stendan out there I agree. ;D (And I guess this discussion should actually have been in another thread... )

Why not? They can be if they sit down and talk. What would they talk about? Brendan wants Ste all to himself and he wants them to be together, I don't think Brendan could live with them only being friends. And Ste is probably not interested in being Brendan's friend.
