Sorry for my wild imagination. It's just that, with that Adam/Aaron mother-of-all blackholes, I had to keep myself busy, rewatching episodes, analysing every line for a subtle double entendres and possible foreshadowing (who knows, they could be even setting down certain building blocks for further along the line, as in a year from now. Don't they already have the scripts for those ? ). I know suggesting a Jamaron pairing was pushing it But, should A&A happen, and then should they happen to fall out, there has to be someone else to whom they can turn That would be something new in a primetime soap? More than two main long-term characters who are gay/bi? Could this be what those writers were alluding to, ie something which has not been done before? I wouldn't really know. My selection of tv channels is very limited (to 4 that is : . My lack, thereof, probably explains my wild imagination too ;D But, seriously, do you think the writers would ever bring in a third party? Not now of course - Adam has to get a go first - but in the slightly distant future.

P.S. - Did anyone else notice Aaron was checking out the mail-man. Hark back, yet again, to the episode before 9th dec. Aaron,Adam and Holly are talking about the planned night out clubbing. Jamie Hope (the mail man) overhears and expresses his whim of joining them.To which, adam replies "Not really your scene Pat!" Double entendre? And in the episode where Aaron has that party at Paddy's, and Viv Hope complains about the noise. Viv: (in accusatory tone to Aaron) I know your type? Aaron: My type? (raises his eyebrows)... (another double entendre? expressing the type of person he is, and the type of person he wants Although, we know that it's more the rural, 'farm overalls' type he prefers. Viv: Yeah. The underclass hoodie type. And I heard Jamie Hope is leaving. Will he get a good going out story or just bow out? What if, ironically, Jamie, besides Adam, was Aaron's type also? Just a quick fling though. What would Viv think then? On another note - that red t-shirt that Aaron was wearing in the most recent episode looked very much like the one he was wearing for that Emmerdale Christmas Shout-out video, don't you think? Wasn't that like... eight or so weeks ago? (I know shooting is done 5 weeks before, but eight? Wow.)

Hmmm... Scarlett trying to be nice to Aaron by telling Adam to cheer him up... What if, I can't believe I'm thinking this , but what if... now that Holly is out of the picture, and with the inevitable change of Aaron's of focus from Holron to Scadam - Aaron, in trying to split Scadam up, tries to win over Scarlett. It would be killing two birds with one stone. He'd be a) affirming his heterosexuality, and b) he'd be getting revenge on Adam for giving him all that emotional grief and ambiguous messages "Go on hit me. Or would you rather kiss me?" (I mean... wtf are you trying to say Adam? )

Yeah, I gotta say that the writers seem to be lacking consistency. Didn't Adam just say last week that he's been talking to Aaron on the phone a lot? But now Aaron is being immediately pissy with Adam upon his return. But then yet again, didn't Aaron move past that pissiness last month when he shook Adam's hand and decided they could be mates again? So, Aaron should be acting like he's back on good terms with Adam at this point. Actually, having rewatched that episode, I don't think it was to be deduced that Aaron had phoned Adam several times. He said something to the effect of, "I've had Aaron on the phone wondering why he can't get through to you (Holly)." It could have been one phone call in desperation, a last resort. So there's no reason why there still can't be a bit of antagonism about the car kiss. Again looking back on old episodes, just a few more suggestive quotes. 10th Nov 2009, Ryan is giving Aaron a driving lesson. Aaron backs out of the garage, and nearly backs into Adam . Adam jokingly asks "Are you trying to run me over or something?" (This mirrors Aaron trying to run Adam down on the 10th dec 2009) Adam (continues) : Are you sure you know what you're letting yourself in for? Ryan: I'm starting to have very serious doubts. (A John Paul/Craig reference ) Then on the 11th Nov, Aaron passes by Andy, and shouts out the window to him. Aaron: Got to be more careful, you, next time. Might get yourself run over. (mirroring 10th Nov ) Later on in the same episode, Andy and Katie are talking about Ryan and their own respective love lives. Andy: My head's just beginning to get straight, so the last thing I need is a girl messing it up. Then, after Katie asks for Andy's opinion about whether Ryan is the one. Andy: Well...(Andy looks over at Ryan and Aaron who are by the dartboard) he seems a genuine bloke. (As Andy looks at Ryan and Aaron, the camera has been positioned so that Ryan is left of centre with Katie, conversely, with Aaron and Andy). This, to me, seems deliberate. Otherwise, they would have used an Andy's POV shot looking at them instead of carefully placing the 4 of them like that. A sign of things to come in the distant future? Or am I reading way too much into this? It could also add the dynamic of aaron of seemingly getting together with a girl, and then ending up pining for their brother Holly/Adam, Victoria/Andy..... So.... if Aaron were to go with Nathan, he'd have to go through Maisie first

Is that Aaron being partly obscured by the tree Never noticed him Yea he was up there all on his lonesome for quite a while. To begin with I thought he was just standing there watching but when everyone then moved up and plopped a camera right behind where he was stood when they were filming, I thought maybe he was part of the scene. Someone needs to teach him the Green Cross Code, it's not very safe standing in the middle of an icy road watching the person he loves with his pink coated plot device. I guess that's what happens when 10 year old children are going around asking their murderous daddys for mobile phones. Who did Carl kill? I only really started watching Emmerdale once I found out about this A&A storyline and so I missed that bit.

Just harking back to that famous 10th Dec 2009 episode that sparked it all off (they should mark that on a calendar as an international holiday , I know I will be celebrating it every year ). So... back to what I was saying, before I got sidetracked Remember when Paddy was telling Aaron about the *in a low whisper* "birds and the bees" ? Aaron: Go on.*he smiles cheekily* Let's hear your version. Paddy: Well... you don't do anything on the first date. And, in a way, Aaron forgot Paddy's advice. He tried to kiss Adam...on the equivalent of a first date, and it backfired horribly On a side note, I'm surprised that the word 'bi' hasn't passed Aaron/Adam/Holly's lips at all when talking about Aaron. Perhaps it isn't in Adam's vocabulary because he hasn't discovered it yet ;D

As I think more and more about it, I am over-reacting. Don't mind me I'm just being overly demanding. I should be thanking Adam and Danny, (not berating their publicist for said article about their real lives ), for providing much on-screen sexual tension, ambiguous looks etc, even if it is only fiction.

Somehow, I think that an Adam/Aaron hook-up is definitely on the cards. That article in New Magazine with the two of them talking about what they'd do on a date with girls, was what convinced me. It came across with an air of, how should I put it... affirming the actors' heterosexuality . It's like the pulicists, or whoever is in charge of these things, is saying, "They may be having a gay romance on screen, but don't worry girls, they're straight." I'm probably reading too much into it though. But it was kind of the same vibe and message given when Brokeback was being publicized. "We're not gay... not that there's anything wrong with that," to quote a famous Seinfeld episode. But they wouldn't be alienating their female audience at all. Not if the popularity of slash fiction amongst females on the internet is true. Although, what could they say anywayz in a valentine's issue. I'm just over-reacting.

Fanvids

Could anyone do a fanvid using that song 'You've got a friend in me' from Toy Story. The lyrics seem apt as to what we hope will happen with the storyline - either aaron supports adam through this pollution thing, or adam finally stops going on the offensive and lends an actual ear to aaron's confusion)
You've got a friend in me You've got a friend in me When the road looks rough ahead And you're miles and miles From your nice warm bed Just remember what your old pal said Boy, you've got a friend in me You've got a friend in me You've got a friend in me You've got a friend in me You've got troubles, well I've got 'em too There isn't anything I wouldn't do for you We stick together and we see it through You've got a friend in me You've got a friend in me
Some other folks might be A little bit smarter than I am Bigger and stronger too Maybe But none of them will ever love you the way I do It's me and you And as the years go by Boys, our friendship will never die You're gonna see It's our destiny You've got a friend in me You've got a friend in me You've got a friend in me

The quad-bike comes roaring up - it's Adam & Scarlett!!!!!!! No, no, no, no - not on the quad-bike!!!! - THAT'S SACRED GROUND!!!! That's a mortal sin! Natasha's a saint compared to her Scarlett must be a succubus sent to seduce Adam Will our Aaron save the day? On a side note, does anyone know of any danny or adam bloopers. Now that would be interesting.

Hmmm... I wonder are the writers thinking of doing a 'What happened in Rotterdam, stays in Rotterdam' kind of story once Cain and Aaron come back. They could use that for another few weeks for both Cain/Charity and Aaron/Adam/Holly storylines - two birds, one stone and all. My knowledge is basic as far as Rotterdam is concerned; I know it's in the Netherlands - that much I do know ;D ; yet does it contain anything like a 'red light district' so to speak . ? Perhaps Cain puts Aaron to the test, and 'hires' someone. Although I fear that this could have serious repercussions for our hero aaron . He might close himself off even further. Gosh, I'd better stop speculating and just wait for the actual spoilers to come out first, before I talk myself into a fit. *gasps for breath*

...So this storyline is never to have been done like this one before... hmmm my imagination is running a mile a minute. I know I'm building castles in the sky with this one, but what if they decided to recreate that iconic scene from the movie "Midnight Express" with Brad Davis in the steamy shower with the other guy I realise that a scene like this is too raunchy for emmerdale - even for a heterosexual couple in it . I just can't help imagining it anywayz ;D In reference to that look at Andy, I still think that Aaron's glance can still be an amorous one without a storyline actually starting between them. That would be more like real life, wouldn't it? How many times have I oggled at someone without so much as a word exchanged between us Just a piece of eye candy , I ain't gonna start something up with 'em necessarily. (Another WILD idea ) An Aaron/Jamie Hope pairing? Completely out of this world, I know. Hasn't Jamie being sort of 'fending off' the advances of one of the quiet Dingle women? Can't remember her name though. Although I do realise that he's already been with a woman before, the blondy one who starred in Home & Away as Maryln, Donald Fisher's wife, he could still 'stray' . It would add another layer to that quiet Dingle ones frustration at him being coy about her advances. She might think, "He'd prefer a guy over me any day. I must be a terrible catch... etc etc" Plus, Jamie and Aaron are opposites, Jamie the 'lighter' character compared to Aaron. Enough about fictional fiction storylines, it's back to the real fiction, and the writers better do the storyline good.

I'm probably making something of nothing , but, I noticed, reminiscing on old Adam & Aaron episodes , I found something curious . In one episode, I think it was early october, either 5th or 7th october, and Aaron is in the pub in his REALLY white tracksuit, when Andy walks in. I'm sure that I saw Aaron give him a quick once over with his eyes (very subtle). He kind of looks down... towards that area... or at least the camera angle made it look that way ;D. Do you think Danny was directed to do that glance or was it his own initiative? Well, the camera shot looks like it was to specifically capture that, so I guess, the former. Oh well So ppl have been mentioning alternative pairings such as Aaron and Nathan. But nobody has suggested Andy and Aaron. Well Andy certainly couldn't be abusive towards Aaron as he was .... er what's her name again? Although, could they be going down that root... domestic violence in a gay relationship. Has that been done before? I don't recall ever seeing one. Then again, I don't have too many channels at home to choose from, whose combined total is 4! And there would be a pattern Adam & Aaron, Andy & Aaron.... will there be an Alan joining the village soon? Forgive me... I'm being facetious. So... Andy & Aaron vs Nathan & Aaron, who'd win? (We all know Adam & Aaron would win hands down but... you know... it's good to compare the competition

I was traipsing the world wide web, in order to fill this gigantic Adam & Aaron hole ( perhaps I should call it vacuum , to avoid sounding prurient ) . I don't know whether this was posted about before, but, I found this old enough article in relation to Danny Miller. WOOF . So anywayz, before I get distracted again , it was from September 2009. Danny was a guest judge for...wait for it ... an Elvis watch competition But then I finally noticed, highlighted in bold, at the top of the article , the words "The Talented Youngster of the Year Awards" . I felt suitably embarrassed . Although, could I be forgiven for : a) Finding an article mentioning Danny Miller.Woof again , b)Before even reading the first paragraph of the article to see the context, using the search box to find either the name "Danny" or "Miller", and then only concentrating on reading that paragraph ;D. c) And being doubly confused by the plethora of celebrities, including Danny - treble woof I'll be turning into a dog at this rate ;D - wearing various watches by Bellagio, further compounding the idea in my silly head that this was a competition about... watches (really??? what can you judge a watch on? ) d) Only then, after much MUCH consideration on how a real watch competition would be run and judged , I ,as above found those key words, "The Talented Youngster of the Year Awards" and that those watches were just from the sponsors. (Did Danny keep the watch - were they even allowed to do so? - or did he sell it? It should be worth a lot LOT more now that he's worn it - worthy of an avid collector of, allow me to coin the phrase "aaronesque" items ,similar in pronunciation to 'arabesque' ). Here's the link to that article. www.elvis.com/news/full_story.asp?id=1967

I definitely want Adam and Aaron they have so much chemistry it's fantastic. If it takes a while for Aaron/Adam to get together I would love to see an Aaron/Nathan temporary coupling. ;D ;D I'm going to be greedy and would like to see a threesome, Aaron, Adam and Nathan and anybody else in the village who might like to join in! ;D Afterall, Gavin Blythe did say Aaron's story was going to be different, hadn't been done before. So why not an outbreak of galloping lesser orientated gay behavior syndrom in the village. Aaron's story being different... hmmmm.... maybe either Aaorn or Adam proposes to the other in a romantic rainstorm (yes... I'm calling it a rainstorm ) Or perhaps, in frustration, Aaron checks out dating websites and hooks up online. Or Holly becomes a surrogate for Aaron and Adam (with Aaron obviously being the biological father ) ... although they are a bit young for children... and yet has that even been done before? Maybe aaron joins swinger parties to satiate his needs ,;adam finds out about this from some random conversation with someone, who also attend one of those parties; holly gets crabs or some other STD, from aaron, who then denies he gave it to her, accuses her of getting it from somebody else, and subsequently dumps her for 'cheating' on him. Holly then recounts all this to adam, who, inexplicably , discovers that aaron has crabs (or whatever that STD is supposed to be). Adam then puts the info about the swinger parties and the crabs together to create a nuclear-bomb-like explosion of emotion between him and aaron that climaxes in the consummation of their pent of feelings for one another ;D All we can do is dream and hope

oh I get that the comment was directed at Victoria. I was more intrigued by Adam saying about ladies finding him "resistible" instead of "irresistible". Was this an intentional wording; was it a small mistake; or was did his bike helmet just muffle his words a bit, so that I misheard? and thanks for the party invite jojo I only came upon this storyline by happenstance on the internet only 1 or 2 days before it would really kick of with the kiss (almost kiss ). I knew about the character, Aaron Livesy, for ages (catching small glimpses of him while channel-hopping); and had a certain affinity with his adonis-like features. However, and I had never really invested my time following his storyline before, since I hadn't really identified with the character as portrayed in previous episodes: a troublemaker, violent etc. But once the whole adam thing commenced, I immediately took notice , and started looking at old aaron episodes. And now I'm just hooked. I now watch whole episodes just for even 2 mins of their storyline :0 But now I hear they aren't going to be in it again for another 3 weeks! I hope it's less than that.

That whole 'Marlon's next love interest causing distress to Paddy' thing, I presume, would be to do more with Moira IMHO. They've been playing up their relationship in the kitchen. And I took notice of how Moira didn't want Paddy to spend Christmas on his own... so maybe Paddy develops feelings for Moira, who has hooked up with Marlon, after she has separated from John, who had that rumoured affair that has yet to happen.(Very convoluted, I know!)
Something I noticed in that conversation that Adam was having with Victoria and Hannah, (ie the confusing one where we all thought Hannah's question, "I thought he was more your type anyway", was directed at Adam, and not at Victoria), was that Adam said something like "I can't help it if girls find me resistible." (instead of irrisistible... I think. I could be wrong.)
