I'm just here for the hot men kissing and being angsty and /or cute with each other. I don't watch the rest of the soap, and don't care what dodgy stuff Ben does, as none of it's real or a morality play that I need to learn the values of right and wrong from.
This is the first gay male soap couple in a long long time, where I think both of the men are attractive, and the actors can both act and have chemistry. So I'm just going sit back and enjoy the view and the kissing and whatever the hell the show does with them until it inevitably ends up sucking. :-)

Today's episode: Can't believe Chrissy just blurted it out in front of the whole pub that she started the fire. Pleasantly surprised! :-) Hope this means we don't have to deal with months of "whodunnit" now, and that Robert or Lawrence don't try to say she didn't know what she was saying and it's not true or something.

I'm simply enjoying the story line. Period. And am enjoying the wild ride and can't wait for all this stuff to happen in the next few weeks. Fun and entertaining for me. Nothing more, nothing less.

Well, I hope they enjoy their low ratings over this garbage that I haven't seen one person enjoy. I'm enjoying the story and the acting. I think it's been one hell of a ride! I don't need my soaps to teach me life lessons. Just entertain me. That's all I ask. And this whole storyline has. I've gasped and laughed and been sad and been infuriated, but I've certainly not been bored. I have never ever thought Aaron and Robert would live happily ever after, and have no investment in that outcome, so I am fine if Robert gets blown out of a cannon or goes to jail or becomes a mass murderer or a nice nursery school teacher and saint. As long as Ryan Hawley acts it out well, then I'm pleased.

I disagree with overtherainbow regarding screentime. I thought they were very evenhanded about the lesbian and gay scenes. And the straight scenes too. :-) Apropo of nothing, One of my favorite scenes in the whole think was Lito and Nomi's heartfelt talk in the museum. Those two characters were fleshed out very well in my opinion.

I neglected to post this after I caught up with last week's clips. I liked that JP just scoffed and walked away when Ste told him about getting with Sinead. Nobody believes it. And whoa, JP just jumped on Lockie! They finally dealt with that sexual tension. I'm happy as a clam that they've finally kissed (twice now), and hope they put Porche with someone else and have Lockie and JP get together. Or maybe not...Hollyoaks HATES having a couple be happy for more than 1 episode. So it would probably be a huge misery filled depressing infuriating mess like Ste and JP were... :-)

Loved this series, and loved, Loved, LOVED Lito and Hernando's storyline. Lito is a fantastic character I thought. He really ended up coming into his own. Loved "The Orgy" and loved how when he and Will meet, Will is like, "Do I know you?" and Lito is like "We had sex" (Giant Smile) Haha! Anyhow, hoping they make a season 2.I ended up liking all of the characters except perhaps , Riley.

Regarding the spoiler that Lockie starts flirting with John Paul again, and they kiss.... Thank God. I'm hoping they have sexy times, but hopefully Lockie and Porsche are completely done and still split up before that. I don't really want to see them sneaking around behind her back. Anyhow... I hope it's not just a one off kiss. They had very good chemistry last year.

I've been watching the episodes on the show's actual website and am caught up as of yesterday. I appreciate the effort Safe Light is making by posting these translated clips. The actors are very nice to look at and can act. So that's always a plus. :-) I understand that this is a daytime show, however... *BIG spoilers. I mean it. Do NOT read if you do not want to know how this story is going in the untranslated episodes which are several months ahead of these translated clips!!*
Things moved glacially , then they move really fast. But never , ever, are they shown kissing, or even hugging. Not even hugs!!! Can you imagine? It makes for some awkward viewing. It's clearly a double standard thing as straight couples on the show kiss, and cuddle on the couch together, etc. David and Xavier do no such thing, at all. You see them go in for a kiss and then the show cuts away before they're within a foot of each other. They are shown one time sitting up in a bed, side by side but not embracing or anything. Not hugging, not kissing. The closest thing to physical affection is a hand massage scene. That's it really. Both men go through some very very emotional scenes with each other and not one single time do I remember a hug. It's inexcusable really. It's like this show is made in 1965 Portugal, not 2015 Portugal. Very frustrating and disappointing. *End spoilers*

My impression was that Robert doesn't want Chrissie and Aaron in contact because he's afraid Aaron would somehow slip up and Chrissie would find out about their affair. No contact, no chance to make a mistake.

Saw Hollyoaks episode for this coming Monday, aired earlier today on E4, and If Ste acted like that at my sister's memorial service and talked to my mother like that, he'd wish he was just getting a beating from Brendan. And John Paul gives him sympathy and support right afterwards. I truly did not believe that would ever happen. The writers just write whatever the hell they want without paying the slightest attention to characterization or logical thought. Meh...

I'm a simple man. Emmerdale's done enough legwork for me and I'm just gonna sit back and enjoy the ride. It's a soap after all, not Shakespeare, so as long as everyone can act and look good whilst doing it, I'm on board.

These latest episodes have been really good! True soap opera. Although Macs' family has been almost freakishly nonviolent. ;D Thanks for posting them Anthony!
I have to say that I am reeally incredulous and horrified at the amount of comments on Youtube that say Macs must have liked it or wants more or what have you. Are these people 5 years old? (rhetorical question)

I loved most of the premiere last night. Could have done with less of Terry, Andy, and Sam...but whatever. I like them but their storylines usually bore me. Steve Newlin was the MVP for me last night. I almost peed myself when this happened.
