It's not pleasant to watch, but it was certainly compelling.

It was nice seeing Mercedes, don't know who the guy was though. Are you referring to the scene at The Dog on 21 Oct, where Brendan is chatting up Mercedes? The guy at the adjacent table is Malachy Fisher (brother of flamboyant Kris). Mercedes and Malachy were married last I saw, but she cheated on him so I expect they're not married anymore. Brendan's behavior is also based in real behavior. An abuser, who feels some sort of remorse right after abusing their partner. I didn't see anything that looked remotely like remorse on Brendan's part after he sucker-punched Ste. His "you okay?" was just ridiculous and felt completely hollow to me. And when they went back up, the fact that he prompted Ste to answer Cheryl's questions ("better tell her") was clearly a test to see whether Ste would say anything. Of course, he had to be pretty certain that Ste wouldn't, or he wouldn't have done that. Poor Ste .

Of course, he had to be pretty certain that Ste wouldn't, or he wouldn't have done that. Poor Ste . No, there was no remorse. After Ste hit Amy, *that* was more or less remorse. Ste might have been very angry, but he wasn't downright cruel and had certain feelings. Not that it stopped him from lashing out on her again and again, but still. What Brendan did was very clever - suddenly being nice not only confuses Ste. It suddenly makes Brendan a friend who has just witnessed the accident happen or as if it was Ste's fault. "Come on, get up!" - As if Ste was over-dramatisising the situation. It's very clever because Ste'd been more likely to picture himself as a helpless victim, shout at Brendan or at least tell someone what happened if Brendan had just hit him. This somehow distorts the dimensions of the event. And I agree on the "You better tell her". On one hand, it was a test, but if Ste would have said anything, it was very unlikely to be believed. They were coming up the stairs, Brendan *helping* Ste, as far as Cheryl saw. Ste couldn't just say Brendan hit him without having to explain the whole situation. Brendan's taking advantage of Ste's insecurities here, too. Overall - I'm just really, really enjoying the storyline up to now, although it's very frightening. I didn't see that Brendan hit Ste the first time, so I was confused, but now I do. In any case... It's so awesome to compare it to Amy and Ste's storyline, which I haven't seen completely, but I'm catching up on it. (I recommend watching to anyone who hasn't yet. For understanding Ste and just because.)

Today's show was great. I loved it. I actually thought the whole show was okay, but Brendan and Ste were fab. I loved Brendan saying 'boo' when Ste opened the door and looked horrified. But what really got me was the creepy music that played during their scenes. It was low and quiet, but added so much. And then when Brendan told Ste to come to him.... and Ste came. He started kissing him and asking Ste if he wanted him to stop. Yes, I know it's creepy and Brendan is being dominant and controlling, but it's kinda hot too. I know it's sick and twisted to say that, but there you go. It was like Ste was hypnotized. He couldn't say no to Brendan.
Really, really nice scenes.

He wants him so bad its so hot but so wrong that i can't stop watching.Ste is saying sorry to Brendan Brendan is making Ste feel and look so weak. His playing mind games with him.Brendan saying" come here,Steven i said come here"Brendan is so dominant. The kiss was so amazing so damn hot they have so much chemistry .Brendan got ste where he wants him in bed so his going to have more control over Ste.

Creepy, but mesmerizing. I'm not sure that I like this storyline, or that I even want to like it, but it's starting to get a hold on me.
A lot of that is Kieron, really. Has he always been this good?

Hmm. Ok now I feel dirty. But the good kind. I can't help it, these two actors just compel me to watch. Those little over three minutes were better than a full hour of some other crap programs. I can totally buy Ste's falling under Brendan's spell. And in turn can see the vulnerability, thirst to love and be loved in Ste. Problem is what Brendan does with it. It was fascinating watching him manipulate Ste into apologizing for making him angry. Scary as well. Like when the first thing he did when he came in was check all the rooms. To not only make sure they were alone, but I'm to make sure his Steven wasn't with someone else. Nice of them to jump ahead a week to give Ste's ribs a chance to heal for their first time. Speaking of which when he said, "Come here."? Damn. I almost went. These two have such heat between them. That kiss was scorching. Part of me wishes this was a "straight up love story" so they could end up together. But why no boxer briefs shot at the end? Though nice move zipping up the pants. And I see they still enforce the if two gay men have a love scene one must wear a shirt rule. And the sex marathon continues at Brendan's,Kieron/Ste was so cute with the look of joy and jumping into Brendan's arms. Guessing on that last bit since they didn't show it. Also guessing since frozenstrawberries didn't post any scenes from the first look, they are not on Tuesday.

creepy The music... more like a horror movie and totally not romantic. but really addictive... when Brendan laughs I feel awkward... I know I shouldn´t "like" the SL but I do... it´s so good in a really different way.

Actually there's no First Look episodes this week because Hollyoaks Late Night shows are on.
Oh there's absolutely nothing wrong with being interested by this story. It's fictional and it's dramatic and it's made to be watched and be interested by.

The only thing I didn't like of the last episode was that horrible background music. Everything else was just perfect. The story is difficult, dark, dangerous but it's impossibile not watching it, I'm totally captivated. It's impossibile not to love the 'stache ;D

Yeah he always been this good. Too bad they no longer have Ste and Amy abuse storyline on YT. Both Ashely and Kieron rocked those scenes.

I am usually not a fan of mustaches, but I think it works with Brendan. It's part of his character.
