Maybe I heard wrong, but did just Christian called his husband 'Oliver' again? It's so weird when Christian refers to Olli like that.

Could someone please post me a little recap? I am not forcing anyone. I am just asking nicely.. =) Without being asked, and without fail, if a thread has been created for the day's episode, still caps, a recap of the episode AND Nanna's unsubbed and subbed episode will be posted in this thread. One just has to check in every so often to see if such updates have been added. It doesn't need to be asked - it's provided for us by the amazing volunteer Chrolli team. Patience.

Castle kitchen Olli suggests that Christian should train to be a riding teacher. Christian wants to know how he's supposed to pay for this further education. And what's more, he'd have to work with children! 'So what?', replies Olli 'you get along great with children!'. Christian wants to know how Olli got that idea. Olli just knows. Mrs. Linse says her granddaughter is afraid of horses, he could start practicing with her. Christian: 'Stop, stop, stop now! I don't get along with children!' And what's more important, he can't teach them anything. Olli thinks that's not true at all. He says that Christian had Christina wrapped around his finger in no time. 'Christian, it's worth a try!' Christian: 'It's really sweet that you're trying to encourage me…' Olli: 'I hate it when you think I'm sweet.' Christian looks at him and argues that when they downsize the stud farm and he loses his job… Olli interrupts him and says then he should steal Elias and bring him to stay in Olli's scullery. He says that they'll be leaving now, because at the moment Christian's only thinking gloomy thoughts when he's in the castle. 'YOU are the one thinking gloomy thoughts here!', Christian replies and they leave, saying goodbye to Mrs. Linse.
In the meadow Christian's sitting in the meadow, talking to Kalle, a pony. He has no idea why he was supposed to bring the pony and he thinks that they're probably the first whose jobs will be cut. Rebecca and a child come to meet him and Rebecca asks if he's talking to the horse. 'To the pony, yes', he replies. Rebecca introduces him to Anna Lena, she's Mrs. Linse's granddaughter and would like to learn riding. Mrs. Linse thinks that Christian underestimates his abilities… and so does Rebecca. 'Yeah well', says Christian, and to Anna Lena: 'You can start with giving him a carrot.' Anna Lena moves some steps backwards. 'Didn't Mrs. Linse tell you that Anna Lena is very afraid?', Rebecca wants to know. 'Man, Rebecca, I'm a horse trainer and not a babysitter'. She says that Olli was also afraid of horses and Christian helped him overcome his fear. Yeah, Christian says, but Olli isn't 7 years old. Rebecca's knows that Christian has a knack for children. 'Call it female intuition,' she adds. Christian: 'I wouldn't count on it.'
Rebecca tells Anna Lena that Christian's actually very nice, so is the pony. It'll be okay.
Christian starts teaching Anna Lena how to get close to the pony.
Translation from the sneak-peek, thanks to Lugia and Joanna! Christian: Okay, pay attention! Now you'll first give Kalle a carrot and then he can smell you and then it should work out! Do you know what horses do when they want to relax a bit? No? Like this: Prrr! Yes! Can you do this, too? Girl: Prrr! Christian: Right! See! Now you have something in common already!
Rebeca's sitting in the meadow, watching them. The lesson continues…
[For some strange reason they play the song 'Lucky' by Jason Mraz (Lucky I'm in love with my best friend…) during this scene, the song they played for last year's Christian and Olli scenes at the lake (I think Nanna had to switch that song due to copyright problems, but it was in the original broadcasted version. And it fit back then, but here???]
Olli joins them. He can't believe what he sees. Mrs. Linse sent him. Rebecca tells him that Mrs. Linse's plan worked, Anna Lena forgot her fear of horses (that was quick) and Christian realized that he's not only good at dealing with horses. Well, in that case his consolation muffins aren't needed, Olli says. But Rebecca wants some.
Christian encourages Anna Lena to try riding the pony on her own. He's walking with them and asks Kalle what he things about his new rider. 'Do you talk to all the ponies?', Anna Lena wants to know. 'Yes, I do, sometimes I rather talk to them than to people'. She wants to know if they can understand them. Of course they can, he says, and listens to what Kalle 'tells' him. Kalle can hardly believe that she's asking that and he says that he'd never throw her from the saddle. She wants to know if she may come back to ride the pony. As long as Christian's working there she may come riding all the time. 'So much for 'I don't get along with children'', says Olli. Christian: 'I heard that!' Olli: 'I hope so!' Christian, Kalle and Anna Lena 'attack' Olli and Rebecca.

After reading your post I watched all the scenes again.... and again... to find the part you're talking about. I think that you mean the scene where Christian's talking to Rebecca and Olli's name is mentioned? If so, what you heard was not 'Oliver' but 'Olli war...'. Sounds the same.

LOL! Thanks a lot May, not only for answering but for reviewing the episode again in order to give me an answer. You're a sweetheart, you know that. Awww, thanks! I couldn't believe that I would've missed Christian calling his husband Oliver. I've kind of a weak spot for that, so I don't think it would slip my attention, but you never know. Thanks, May! Here's a little oops: "Mrs. Linse says her granddaughter is afraid of children," Hehe! Oops, indeed! ;D Thanks!

There should be a rule: only one pony per scene. Rebecca should have sat this one out. Also, Christian seems to relate better to Kalle, even knowing what the pony is thinking, than with Rebecca. We never know what is going to come out of Miss Pony's mouth next. It's usually not something worth hearing. On a shallow note 2 days in a row of plaid have Olli looking mighty fine. Thanks as always to May for the recap and Joanna for the caps.

Extraordinary scene, the one in the meadow, but not in a good way, I think. It's as if they made a parody of what I imagine to be the intended scene and some saboteur in the editing room substituted it.
The spitting, the satanic squint, the stained shirt -- and the unmistakably phallic initiation of a 7-year-old girl -- enough to get you added quite expeditiously to the sex-offender register if here in Ohio.
If the sociopolitical aim of the general storyline is to warm the audience to the idea of two men adopting / rearing a child, then I think this represents bizarre judgment indeed . . .
And then, as has been mentioned, there's the perplexing choice of 'background' song.

^Certainly an interesting take on it. While I didn't expect Christian to launch into a spirited rendition of Soliloquy from Carousel, I don't exactly see spitting (guy thing), squinting (sun), a stained shirt (horse's muzzle), and a carrot (horsey's likey), coalescing into a portrait of Christian as Humbert Humbert either. Alas, sometimes a carrot is just a carrot.
