Rebecca doesn't make me nervous, she just makes me sick. Wasn't it odd how Becky said she felt the need to make things up (to the boys) when Olli wasn't supposed to know about her crush on Christian at all? To her knowledge, Christian kept that info to himself. Weird. Thanks Joanna, Nanna, Paul and Mercurymay! Yeah, I thought the same thing about Rebecca and her need to make up to the boys, but don't forget she made out with Christian and Olli obviously knew that, even if Chris blamed only himself, she had a part in it anyway. I know it's a weak reason/explanation, but for the current writers is surely more than ok ;D Sometimes they seem to forget that the audience may have a brain Nice episode, though. Hero!Rebecca is so good and selfless that she totally deserves to find true love, and that this great, kind, amazing, handsome, generous and rich (NEW) person would take her away from her so hard life in Dusseldorf, to a wonderful place (like a beautiful desert island very, very far from Germany) where they'd be unbelievable happy forever and...oh, he could even be BLOND and GAY if she wants ;D

Olli cannot let Christian hit Rob, if Rob presses charges as we know he would, Christian would be in huge trouble again. So that made sense. But glorifying Rebecca, having the boys fall all over her for saving their butts over and over the last two eps was quite a nauseating end of this SL. It felt like the whole thing with Rob wasn't THEIR struggle for their feelings, their relationship, their love, all of it could have been wrapped up by Becky two months ago! Why even bother then? Ergh. Instead of good drama, we have it all wrapped up in a box with a bow on top with Rebecca as the benevolent giver, while Chrolli receives her amazing present (their happiness) and lay prostrate at her feet. They will never forget what she did. They will always be indebted to her. REALLY? There could NOT be a better ending? In which Christian and Oliver work together and talk and discover Rob's dirty deeds, and set up a plan, and help themselves? Instead the extent of their talk that we get to see is "Why didn't I believe you in the first place?" YES WHY DIDN'T YOU? That's what I want explored, dissected, discussed, resolved. Or not resolved. Meaningfully. OK, end of rant. I'm just happy the whole mess is over. Believe me, I was so prepared for drama and angst and I welcomed a third party into their relationship to give it some spice and make them work for their love and for Jo and Thore to be able to act the hell out of their scenes (which they did with what they had) but golly I could see where it was going half way through and there was no way it was going to end well. Upwards and onwards. On the bright side, I LOOOOVVVVEEEE Andi and Miriam together. They are too cute for words. I just hope Andi doesn't just use her as others seem to do...and not run again and again to boring Helena.

Eh. A very fun episode, I must admit. Didn't love how they made Rebecca the super-hero of the equation, but it's very obvious what happened in this episode: 1. The creative team changed somewhat and the new people in charge felt that the Rob/Rebecca storyline was going nowhere so they needed to get rid of it fast. That's why Olli realises that Rob's a dick off-screen, during The Trip To New York That Magically Fixed Everything, then they use Rebecca to resolve the fact that Rob isn't rotting in a jail somewhere. Chrolli's pacifist nature was gonna let a drug dealing Rob run around and cause trouble, just because they thought he was dangerous! 2. Since they still don't have another f*g-hag for our boys available (at least, until Miriam's role gets upgraded to a more prominent status), Rebecca had to be redeemed somehow, thus we see her saving the boys and framing Rob! What makes me hopeful for her future with Chrolli? Notice how she USES her crush on Christian to buy time with Rob and plant the drugs in his car, which is sans a roof and she could plant stuff in there when he was at home anyway . The fact that she used her crush as a means to a scheme and the way she did it shows to me that she's kinda over Christian and the trouble she caused for no reason and feels ready to put that behind her. Personally, I don't see her crushing on Christian anymore. Unless the new writers feel bored or something. 3. The rest of the episode was very fun! Miriandi were adorable, Christian had the time of his life seeing Rob get bitchslapped, we saw Rebecca get manhandled around and felt a little sadistic over it, Rob was adorably douchy and Olli got to punch him himself! (which is more fair than Christian having a go at him. not to mention how Christian would get in jail again!). Sorry for not being very prominent in the boards lately, I'm having some family troubles so it's quite disheartening to joy on Chrolli's happiness or write comedy and guilty-pleasure-y fanfic. Hope I'll get my groove back soon!

Well, I was about to start railing on all the things I didn't like about this episode... and then joanna posted her caps! Danke, joanna. My only quibble is that this one (or one very nearly like it) really should have been wallpaper size. That way, you see, I could print it out and hang it on my wall next to the poster of Ayers Rock. I mean, christallmighty! Quite possibly my favorite jeans EVER. What's with the jeans, JMM? Is it the fact that it brings out the best in Christian? I mean... er... his eyes? ;D

Olli cannot let Christian hit Rob, if Rob presses charges as we know he would, Christian would be in huge trouble again. So that made sense. There won't be a trouble. The same reason Axel was above law initially - lack of evidence. ;D Besides, self-defense and saving an innocent life are acceptable intent in most criminal laws. Christian has to prove, though, that this is a "reasonable act". A punch to save Rebecca from kidnapping / unlawful confinement is reasonable methinks. But I accept that Olli acted on instincts at the critical moment of time. He just needed to stop Rob, not thinking about law at all.

I HATED....nay.....DETESTED(!!!) this episode!! [and wrapping up of the Rob SL! Yes to everything, him getting duped by his own scheme..... EXCEPT...it should NOT have been at the hands of Rebecca!] They duly castrated Christian and Olli with this stupid bullshit! Grr...so mad!!! ^ LOL, was going to exert myself to try and express what I felt about this episode, but I'm feeling very lazy and inarticulate and this really says it all...Grr seconded! Eh. ^...and then this totally cheered me up, thanks mitsaso! ;D
