So, we have optimist complaining that there are too many pessimists, we have pessminsts shaking their heads over optimists. BUT! How many are there really? What's your real honest to God assessment of the situation?
Optimist: Includes any version where Chribecca stays relatively minor. From it never turning romantic, being one exclusively sided from her side, having her being written as the writers as only a mean schemer or any other versions you consider not too terrible.
Medium: Some really bad Chribecca stuff might happen, but Ollian will be endgame. (so both good and bad stuff for Ollian) For example stuff you won't like but that you can live with if you have to (for example some people seem to feel that way about Christian having a drunken ONS with R, but never stops loving Olli or Rebecca being a drug and pretend to be pregnant type schemer).
Pessmist: Ollian really will break up/will really be over or will be irrevocably damaged.
What's your _honest_ take on the situation?

I voted medium. I think Chrolli is the endgame, but we're going to have to suffer through a Chribecca affair/breakup-and-dating/who-knows-what first. (In which case I might just do what I did with AWZ - stop watching and come back when they start getting together again.)

I see we have a lot of mediums. So, you mediums, how bad to you think it will get? Or do you think that it's gonna stay more in the "annoying" range? I'm leaning more towards optimist but that's probably because I have a big stomach for soap things, so I still don't think that anything terrible (by my definition of terrible) will happen. I still think that it's gonna be "storm in the waterglass". The the most I could picture them maybe doing something "one way, but not both ways". Like either there could be sex but there won't be any feelings or there might be feelings but nothing will ever come out of it. [for me to count Chribecca as a "real" thing there would have to be both, feelings/affections AND something physical] Ironically to me something like "Rebecca drugs an innocent Christian and pretends to be pregnant with his baby" would actually be "worse" to me just because I always hate storylines like that because it forces characters to stay terminally stupid for a long time and I find that just unwatchable.

I answered "medium", but I have a strong tendency to "pessimism".
SPOILER: Especially when I look how Ollian fights are written, one after another. No random nice things, only failed dates and so on. Writers are in full destruction mode at the moment and they should really pull their asses off when they write them together again, but we know how the show is written lately...
I say "medium", because I was positively surprised that they casted a good actor for a supporting role, giving Olli something to do and at least this three-day-story at the end of January doesn't sound so bad on paper. Next week I may have already different opinion, because it looks like GreLu's-heroine-Rebecca will be thrown into this story again pretty soon to take back her central part.

Medium, i mean otherwise, what else will they do with Jasmine? it seems that for the writers this is the fate of all extraneous characters. attach to chrolli and let flounder.

Medium but lately I'm tending to optimism (at least that Olli and Christian will always be the main story in this mess)

I'm an optimistic medium. I have no idea what will happen, but I'm hoping it's not too gross. ;D
Spoiler - All I have to say is, THANK HEAVENS for David!

I was very, very tempted to vote medium because of the vlog and the credits, but Christian has been portrayed as overwhelmingly hetero lately, and the young flatshare pairings don't have a great track record. It's either constant contrived drama like LySeb or the love will peter out at some point. I could see an endgame-endgame years from now, but right now I voted pessimism. I have this whole "fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice, shame on me" stance about it. Because I tend to react in a "fooled" way everytime new spoilers come out, strongly leaning in the medium direction. And everytime I was wrong. I ruled out Chribecca in the week they ended up getting the Brokeback music, the hugs, the smiles! So now I'm hesitant and rather stick to the pessimism route. The writers follow a clear path and I'm not getting a lot of lovey-dovey Ollian endgame vibes right now or even ambiguity. But I'm not convinced. And I'm almost starting to lean in the "I don't care anymore" direction.

Medium, I have seen how pessimist people can be with this whole Chribecca issue, with no sense fundamentals, sometimes they depressed me a lot and made me angry. I know Rebecca is not out of the middle, but anyone has at least two fingers before their nose can see how much Chrolli means to VL, even the actual writers. One love like this can't be raped for a stupid, fool, bitch girl.

The writers follow a clear path and I'm not getting a lot of lovey-dovey Ollian endgame vibes right now or even ambiguity. SPOILERBut from the spoilers right now that could be a problem of leaving at least two make ups out (but they seem to happen onscreen). I also don't know about the straight thing when they keep showing Christian wants Olli near him and write stuff about love.
I keep waiting for Davids crush to come back but that they obviously wait for new Chribecca stuff makes it more obvious to me that this will be a lot about David/Rebecca when it comes to her crush.
The flatshare is true but hmm I guess they had to make Ollian a supercouple in that direction or to be more sensitive. Or they would try to make another good couple or leave them single but as someone wrote there's not even a story for them expect the triangle with David. And they always have their homosexual couple
I guess I'm even optimist now in some way because I'm already in the vision of them getting to be as a loving couple (again), Rebecca being out and having at least romance in the end if they first have to go through bad episodes (I guess it makes sense that the lovely stuff would come later maybe or just hints between) It's like LySeb "Everything is so hard... But I love you". Or them saying "I hate you" but you knew: They'll never end...
The writers just can't be that stupid just for someone straight again (and we also get the Prince) It just makes no sense, just as Ollians next story they get over.
