JAKE SILBERMANN IS DREAMY Yeah, he needs to stop that. I'm trying to go back to reality and work on something. Thanks for the vid, those guys are adorable.

From this week's Suds Report ( tvguide.sympatico.msn.ca/The+Suds+Report+Feb+27+2009/Soaps/Suds/Articles/090227_news_nelson_NB.htm?isfa=1): As The World Turns, Global/CBS — Big casting happens here • Snore: Alex Charak (Elwood) is out when his character is killed on his way to a meeting with Luke and Noah. Don’t look at me, I have a concrete alibi. Then, on March 5, Lannon Killea will return as some loser named Mark Vero.
• Don’t blame “head writer” Jean Passanante for the schizophrenic writing on this sudser. Executive producer Christopher Goutman is writing long story, claim sources on the show. Yes, while I loved how Goutman wrote the show during the writers’ strike, he did have a wealth of plot to work with thanks to Passanante’s set-up with Emily and Casey’s popular May-December romance, the Carly/Holden/Lily triangle and the Nuke kissing scandal.
• How much you want to bet that ATWT’s Valentine Day episode was a ploy to win the show’s hair and make-up team some Emmys? The freaky fairytales weren’t designed to win the show a Best Writing Emmy, that’s for sure.

JAKE SILBERMANN IS DREAMY I'm not ashamed to say it. In reality it's all about grrl parts for me. But, Jake kinda makes me wish he and I were both gay men for a day So I could invite him over for a glass of water.... I'm just saying. And he certainly reminds me why it's all about boy parts for me. ;D (To think I didn't even find him remotely attractive when he just started playing Noah. It's just that Jake is so much more sexy than Noah. )

I'm only new to this, but all the posts are really old. Like last year. Is anyone out there or are the dates wrong?

Very depressing, considering the Natalia/Olivia storyline got so much good press. Like, finally a show does a same sex truly right and epic and then negative stereotypes are reinforced by the show getting cancelled (along the lines of: same sex storylines are bad luck/bad for ratings).

I absolutely agree with everything Michael said in his defense of the award, even though as I've said before, I have problems with GLAAD's criteria, ATWT is the clearly deserving winner by those criteria.
It's quite ironic, because Michael's defense includes the same arguments I have against many of AfterElton's overly harsh attacks on various shows; that being hyper-critical and accusatory to shows that try to handle gay issues, it makes it seem like doing them is more trouble than its worth. Have no gays, and the gay community ignores your show; include them, and you'll be hounded by watchdogs magnifying every mis-step into a homophobic attack on gays.

I agree. It was deserved. Especially since the lesbian storyline on AMC fizzled out so badly and most of GL's lesbian storlyine still hasn't progressed that far.

It's good to see that both have such a great relationship off screen, yes i know they praise each other all the time, but actors always do that (and we know that not all the sets are a party). And having a good chemistry on screen is not a guarantee, James Sutton and Guy Burnett have a good chemistry but i never feel the same on their interviews, in fact, in the last i read (Jame's interview before leave Hollyoaks) i've got the strong perception that he prefered that JP have ended with Kieron and not with Craig

People bid 6,000 (2 bits of $3,000) in 3 minutes to get a tour of the studios with Van and Jake.

That's really good, because this year is not in the younger actor but in the supporting actor. Congratulations Van

I think i'm becoming addictive to this soap thing (i don't used to watch soaps, maybe because i hate latinamerican soap wich are aired here), because i even remember that today was the day of the nominations. I think it's a big achivement for Van, because the supporting role it's than the younger actor one
