Cool. I wish that he has a better storyline other than dealing with the depression soon.

Oh how I wish that Simon and Daniel end up being a pair. Really? I've always disliked Daniels character. He's an addict (gambling), he's a liar (go's well with the addiction), he's selfish, he's vain and he only cares about himself. All very unattractive I think.

Neither do I want Simon and Daniels to be together. I know this is not a relationship drama, but why can't they write some decent SL for Simon?

Spoiler for March the 15th & 18th (source DS):
Tuesday: Meanwhile, Daniel tells Simon that he should try a late night on call shift before he leaves. Simon is pleasantly surprised at his interest in his career but later discovers that Daniel has an ulterior motive - he was down for the shift but wants the night off. Simon warily agrees to take the shift anyway.
Friday: Simon has his first shift on the out of hours service when Australian driver Mitch Dawson arrives. Simon and Mitch have instant chemistry as Mitch reveals he's a vet and is driving to pay off his student debts.
Later, they get an urgent call to the Churchill Estate where Simon finds heavily pregnant Jaza Gibson. Mitch waits outside on the ominous looking estate while Simon treats Jaza. All is going well until her drug addicted boyfriend Mikey Wilcox arrives and they begin to argue. Mikey lunges for Jaza, Simon goes to defend her and ends up with a knife in the abdomen…

More spoilers from DS below:
Monday 21 March: Mitch waits on the estate for Simon and sees Mikey run off. Jaza shouts that Simon has been stabbed and Mitch runs inside and helps Simon stop the bleeding before he passes out. Simon is taken to St Phil's and, early in the morning, Cherry arrives and is comforted by Mitch.
The next morning at The Mill, the mood is jolly until Cherry arrives and tells everyone that Simon's been stabbed. He's stable, and Julia goes to see him with Elaine. They're unsettled to see Jaza there, who says she's finished with Mikey. Julia is concerned it'll take Simon a while to get over this but he seems optimistic.
Later, Cherry goes to see Simon and tries to get him to move in with her but Simon insists he'll be better off at home. Mitch arrives and Cherry feels slightly sidelined as Mitch and Simon flirt. She decides to go, looking back sadly as she does - are they losing him?
Wednesday 23 March: Meanwhile, Simon and Heston have a tender moment of reconciliation.
Thursday 24 March: At The Mill, Julia and Elaine are pondering a suitable gift for Simon for after his impending exams. Elaine recommends a flowing cactus and Julia promises to see what she can find.
Julia arrives back at The Mill and says she couldn't find anything suitable for Simon. They discuss his exam and whether or not he might flunk it on purpose and we see Simon pondering a multiple-choice question before he makes his selection.
Friday 25 March: Meanwhile, Simon arrives for his practical exam, where he will see 13 patients, played by actors in different roles, and have to diagnose their illnesses. Simon is relaxed and confident as he takes on the challenge, but when the examiner asks one last question - 'Why do you want to be a GP?' - Simon can't answer…

THANKS SO MUCH FOR THE SPOILERS. I HOPE SIMON DOESN'T LEAVE. HE'S A WONDERFUL DOCTOR. Well I had a feeling he wasn't leaving but with that last sentence from the last spoiler, I'm not so sure any more.

New spoilers (Source DS);
Monday March 28: Meanwhile, Karen pounces on Simon, anxious to hear how his exam went, but Cherry tells her to back off. Later that morning, though, Cherry does the same thing but Simon politely reminds her he's got paperwork. Julia suggests they all go for lunch but Simon declines. Later, Simon tells everyone that he passed with flying colours. They try to help him celebrate but he is clearly struggling to be happy with the news…
Tuesday March 29: Simon arrives at The Mill and Cherry reminds him about Heston's drinks evening at The Icon, followed by dinner with her and Jimmi at a French restaurant. Karen is disappointed to miss it and so invites Simon around for dinner the following night. He can't think of an excuse and so has to accept. Following on from the partners' meeting, Heston and Julia offer Simon a permanent job and are deflated when he says he'll think about it.
Simon then gets a call and dashes to the hospital, where he meets Jaza in labour. She is comically vocal during the birth and has a baby girl. At the same time, everyone has gathered at the Icon bar and Mrs Tembe reports that Simon is dealing with an emergency and will be late. At the hospital, Simon is touched when Jaza insists he cut the cord. Jaza tells Simon she'd like to call her baby Simone after him and they later chat about finding the right path in life.
Wednesday March 30: Cherry tells Simon to relax at dinner with the Hollins family. Later, Heston catches him and asks if he's made a decision, prompting Simon to promise to talk to him later. Karen gives Imogen the shopping list for dinner and she is horrified to see that it's shepherd's pie with baked beans. Heston suggests pigeon, and Elaine suggests a goat's cheese starter. Later, Karen is horrified when Imogen arrives with whole un-plucked pigeons and smelly sheep's cheese.
Soon afterwards, Simon arrives and the awkward conversation begins. As they finish their starter, Imogen smells burning and they end up having to rely on the local chippy for food. The ice is broken as they tuck into fish and chips. Imogen asks Simon how he is and he tells them about the birth of Jaza's baby, which reminded him what the job is all about. Karen asks if he has made his mind up, and with enormous relief, Simon says yes…
Friday April 1:
Cherry glues a photo of her and Simon to a congratulations card she's making. Simon asks Julia to gather the partners and announces that he won't be accepting the position. He thanks them for everything they've done, but he needs to break free, take a much delayed gap year and enjoy himself.
Outside, Cherry listens in, but only in time to hear congratulations and so is unprepared when she hears the truth. She hurls the card into the bin, upset and angry, but then rallies with a plan. Simon asks Jimmi to look after Cherry, while Cherry snaps photos of Jimmi and Karen and explains that she's taking pictures to show Simon what he'll be missing - she is clearly in denial.
Simon chats to Elaine and sheepishly admits that he hasn't spoken to Cherry yet. Later, when Cherry presents him with a photo album, he laughs at everyone's photos and then admits how much he's going to miss her. Cherry says he's not really leaving, but when she finally does accept it, she breaks into tears before admitting that it's the right decision.
They head into the staff room, where Heston opens champagne and Daniel and Zara have dressed in tank tops and specs. Later and finally alone, Simon packs up the last of his things and takes a look at a gift from Imogen - a photo of a long road - and knows he's made the right decision. In the car park, his phone rings and it's Mitch - a nice surprise. In the staff room, Cherry mournfully watches him leave and Jimmi puts a comforting arm round her.
I guess that will be the last episode with Simon.

Oké, so not the last episode; just one more I guess. But maybe we won't see him, maybe just a phone call.
Wednesday April 6 (source DS): Also today, on his way to the airport, Simon calls Cherry to say goodbye and she makes him promise to have the time of his life.
