Messyme I hope that you don't stop posting. We all need to take a LOT MORE care about how we talk TO and ABOUT each other so that it is fun for us all to participate Learning how to do some of the technical stuff is hard and different for everyone and unless someone is actually willing to download, edit, translate, subtitle and then upload and post the clips themselves, they SHOULD NOT be bossing you around about how you should do it. No one on this forum who isn't a Mod or Admin has the right or authority demand that you you do anything or criticize your methods unless they are going to PONY UP THE GOODS. Just PM me whenever you need me to translate a video. You'll need to push me; I'm the kind of person who would even procrastinate on saving my own life.

Just PM me whenever you need me to translate a video. You'll need to push me; I'm the kind of person who would even procrastinate on saving my own life. Thanks ;D The thing is.. I don't know what you should translate. I really, really want to get the whole storyline with Ginés and Cisco, but I don't know how I'll dl it.. Mediocfan has asked for help though, so we'll just have to wait and see. We could just start where Victor finds out about Ginés, I have the whole storyline about Victor coming to terms with Ginés being gay, and it's good quality. What do you think? I'll PM you about it

I'm quite impressed with Victor's reaction on his father outing. He reacted really well, being very supportive on his father and his relationship

He reacted really well, being very supportive on his father and his relationship Yep, after a while, but it wasn't like that at first.. You can totally see that in part 1 and 2. Remember that Victor used to be a homophobe, or maybe not a homophobe per se, but a bully. He drugged Angel and called Alberto a word starting with F that I won't repeat.. So it's quite a turn around for Victor. I guess everyone can change. It's easier to understand gay people if they're in your near circle, like either friends or family. I guess Victor just HAD to deal with it, and when he really thought about it he found out it wasn't a big deal, and that his father is who he is. And yes, I agree.. Very good acting from both Victor and Ginés. The wiritng is far superior than the crappy American tv series too. This is actually realistic! It kinda reminds me of Gorka from FoQ. He was a bully/homophobe too. But he also changed after he was in that play and had to kiss Fer.

It's a realistic portrayal of elderly gay guys. This is a storyline that hasn't happened that often, and it's written in a realistic way. The part with Victor was really great, I have no words. It was just amazing to see him coming to terms with his father being gay. We need to see this on tv too. Far too many gay guys marry a girl because they're too afraid to come out. Gay tv series are mostly about gay teens or gays in their twenties, so this is about damn time! LOL.. I am really enjoying this storyline. I like it. That being said.. I too wish that Alberto would get a love life. I don't think it's fair of the writers to pair Fonsi with Tamara and not doing anything with Alberto's love life.

Oh boy, what a fantastic slap in the face this was! Lourdes more than deserved it. ;D Lourdes: (...) The ordeal is over. Víctor: Well, for me it isn't. I wanted Dad to live here. L: Right, your father yes, but not that... V: Cisco, his name is Cisco! And you've got to accept that he's his boyfriend. L: His boyfriend...?! Look, in this house we always were very normal and from now on we'll return to being normal. V: Well, I don't want to be the same, Mum. I've understood/learned many things. L: What are you saying? Look, with one homosexual we've got enough in this house... V: What? No, no, no... with a homophobe like you we've already got enough in this house! I don't want you to entangle me in your prejudices! (...) I pity you. And you know what's the worst of all this? That you're never going to change. I look forward to seeing Victor moving in with Cisco and Ginès, and then the reaction of Victors friends. Is that a wish or a spoiler? No way! I would have guessed he's 20-22.

Sorry to say this, but i really don't like Cisco or Gines at all!!!! On the other hand i do like Alberto a lot and hope he gets a love interest soon. I love them. In my very young years, I'd totally pounce at Gines with as much fervor as I would at Fonsi. I love the depiction of elderly gay couples, that they can be affectionate and sexy. Gay people are not hust 18-25 years old, you know? I appreciate the storyline over Alberto's mother hen storyline, even if I love Alberto's witticisms. I just love how Gines says "My Xisco." I agree with Miguel's mocking that Gines's affection is pretty juvenile (which makes sense; gays are usually barred from developing relationship skills/modes within the same pace of heterosexuals, so we see a lot of gay men in their later years with arrested development, acting as if they were considerably younger).

OMG, thanks so much for the translation! I got the gist of it, but wow.. This is so awesome! Such a slap in the face for Lourdes. She deserves it. She's been a bitch all along. What I think is most important though is asking what Victor wants. The kids are always the most important if the parents split. And did you see the preview for next week? HOLY CRAP Lourdes kissing Angel's dad? The fact that the actor playing Victor is 17, like, I never would guess that he's so young! It makes me feel old, I'm soon turning 22 Sorry to say this, but i really don't like Cisco or Gines at all!!!! On the other hand i do like Alberto a lot and hope he gets a love interest soon. It's not often we see a storyline like this on tv! ETA: I have now updated Victor's storyline with a translation. Thanks to lucrece for the help!

jnn111: I know! I want a love life for Alberto too, and I'm glad you agree with me Yesterday's episode was good. Lots of awesome scenes with Ginés, Cisco, Lourdes and Victor. Even Victor is on his dad's side now. Lourdes was a bitch as usual, and she did make some homophobic comments. I'm glad Victor stood up to her!

I hate Lourdés and types like her with a vengeance. It was really tremendous how Victor stood up for Cisco and his father. I'm looking forward to see how he interacts with his friends. Am I correct in understanding him telling Lourdés that they were his friends no longer? Maybe that is why he asked Alberto over for that conversation because he can't talk to his own friends anymore about his father and Cisco Yes, I think that has something (or A LOT) to do with it. Remember how Victor was before.. He was a bad guy who drugged Angel and called Alberto names for being gay. His friends were just the same, and Victor has learned, but they are probably the same idiots. So I understand why he won't hang out that much with them anymore. It would be cute if Alberto and Victor bonded more and became friends. I really liked the little chat they had about Ginés being gay. I really felt for Victor in that moment. Victor is obviously a nice guy deep down! And to everyone else: Mediocfan and I misunderstood each other, and we have made up again now. We're trying as hard as we can to get the HQ videos. Please be patient

Well i see very difficult that Víctor is gay. Spanish teen soaps are very fond of stereotypes, and Victor plays the role of the villanous but hot rival of the good guy, so i don't think he'll end being gay.
And about the f word. Words are a lot less important in spain than in the USA, the f word is normally an insult, but not always, in fact, julio uses the f word when he tell Fer that he'll help him to come out to his parents, and in that context and tone, the word is not an insult

Thanks Mediocfan, I haven't watched the episode, and probably won't watch it until tomorrow, I'm tired now, after sitting hours and hours with editing the NRPP clip. Anyways, I'll comment here after I've watched the episode Oh, and thanks for that. I'm glad we got a reply. I'm not tech savvy at all, but I hope someone who is can try this and let us now if it works or not.

Alberto should have taken the chance, kissed Fonsi on the lips and Fonsi in turn not even got angry. Well, that would have been a big surprise, definitely. ;D Ángel is Luis's son and therefore Mito and Aihnoa are his half-siblings indeed. Bárbara basically told Ángel that Luis dumped her when she got pregnant although he had promised to marry her (at that time he was already seeing Marta, though). One day, she continued, he disappeared without saying goodbye and it was his brother (Miguel) who brought the news of Marta's pregnancy and their marriage to her, along with money sent by Luis for an abortion. That's when Ángel totally freaked out and even said he was going to kill him. As for the videos, while searching the net I found out that most of the episodes can be downloaded via ed2k. One episode is around 440 MB and very good quality (DVB rip) judging from the chunks I have already downloaded and previewed with VLC. As you may guess, it's going to take ages to download the interesting episodes: After 8 hours I've only completed 180 MB of a single episode.

I love how perverse Barbara is. Very classy and right out of the bitch textbook, to tell a child that his other parent wanted him aborted in order to create a rift.
And Xisco put his foot in his mouth badly this latest episode. Getting caught threatening Lourdes so pettily, especially over letting her keep the house, by Victor really put a damper on Victor's future opinion of Xisco. Later in the episode you see how Lourdes turns up the manipulative waterworks and mentions how it mortifies her to see Victor be friendly with Xisco. I bet that will pull Victor more to her side.
Victor is keeping off from Tamara and his former friends because he knows how false they are. He knows how little Tamara cares for her "best friend", Ainhoa, and how she just uses people. If anyone knows what a little beast Tamara is, it's Victor.
In the episode you can see Tamara becoming aware of Victor as a threat, and her plans with the other guy to socially castrate Victor.
P.S. In regards to "marica" and its many variants, yes, in Spanish we can use it equally as an affectionate insult denoting playfulness. In Venezuela we use "marico" all the time to address friends, without the actual meaning of the slur. I call my kitty "maricona" when I'm sweet-talking her.
That said, you still need to be emotionally close to use it with someone. It's not something you walk up to a stranger with.

Mediocfan: About Cisco and Victor.. I believe that Cisco and Lourdes are both in a difficult situation, and they both have said stuff they probably shouldn't have. I'm not saying what Cisco said was stupid, it obviously was. It's just that Lourdes have said some awful things too, she's not innocent either. Lourdes have been picking on Cisco since day one. I think they should at least try and be civil about it. Maybe not be friends per se, but at least stop the fighting. They both should just deal with the situation, or else they will hurt the people they love and care for in the process.
