That is some spoiler! Wow. Scott brutally violates Macs.Scott may have been messed up last year, but I didn't see THAT coming! And since most of us don't watch the whole soap we haven't seen Scott mooning after Sioned, I don't think most people on YT or here should be expected to have thought he was capable of that. I was one of those who thought a coming out story for Scott would have been interesting, but of course with the new spoiler forget it! No "Solo" fan would want them together after this, so that's a ridiculous thing to say. Alex Harries (Scott) has left the show a while back apparently, so I don't know how or if he'll get his comeuppence. Looking forward to to the d-r-a-m-a of this storyline. Mostly interested in how Macs and Iolo work through this and how it will affect their relationship. Obviously lots of angst coming in the near future. I'm also interested in seeing how this affects the character of Macs. Interested in seeing if the actor playing Macs can handle the trauma etc.. that this storyline will deal with. Once again, wow.

Latest clip , courtesy of Anthony.
Is it wrong to hope that a lion escapes from the zoo and eats Sioned?

Tonight's clip from Anthony. Scott's getting creepier and creepier , IMO with each clip that I see with him in it. He's snapped and it's been a long time coming, even before Macs got together with that evil witch, Sioned.

The latest episode courtesy of Anthony. I was worried the actor playing Macs wouldn't be able to handle this storyline, but so far he's doing fine. I really felt sorry for Macs today.

I'm so glad that TPTB have "gone there" with the new direction in this storyline, involving Iolo, Sioned and Macs' brutal rape by Scott. He's been a violent individual (all directed towards Iolo) for months before Macs and Sioned got together and before Iolo met Alun. Bravo to actor, portraying Macs, because I for one don't doubt that his character was raped by how he portrayed the initial shock, emotional, mental and physical trauma he's dealing with right now.

I was listening to Sioned talk about how scared she was she would never see him again and Macs' face reflected everything she said. If I had not read what was going to happen, I would have thought that Scott was going to kill Macs, especially when he started on about how he had to kill Shep for becoming a sheep killer and it is possible Macs feared the same. The fear that Macs shows whenever someone comes in and his dislike of being touched will probably result in Iolo suspecting something. The fact that Iolo knows that Scott is a bully and physically violent will probably make him realize Scott beat Macs. This is a shocking story.
This is an aside, since two things worried me with this story. The first is that Scott carried a type of knock out drug with him, which means there was premeditation. It seems like he has done this before, he is very calm, doing it as if it is second nature - he reminded me of Dexter that calm menace. I remembered that he beat Iolo because he did not want anyone to know not because he kissed him, is it possible he had used the drug before? The second is that I was wondering if they chose Macs for this story instead of Iolo(who always showed him kindness) to reinforce how this is an act of revenge and violence, not that Scott is misunderstood but rather that he finds the most painful and disturbing way to react to what he feels is unfair. The look on Scott's face when he drives off is one of 'what have I done?' so he is not totally delusional or psychotic, which makes this all the scarier.

Wow, Im shocked and equally excited that they went with this storyline. I saw part 72 before reading any spoilers and I honestly feared that Scott was going to kill Macs, however, the look and creepy smile on Scott's face after he exited the room was a clear indication of what actually took place. He really creeped me out.
I agree, the actor playing Macs did a wonderful job and I can't wait to see how the rest of the story plays out.

I'm impressed by the actor playing Macs. I didn't think he had it in him for such powerful scenes. I see on Youtube people are still denying that he was raped by Scott. Okay. I think it's painfully obvious. He's so fearful and shies away from even the slightest physical contact. I know he wasn't the nicest guy around but this could be the catalyst for his turnaround. I hope he dumps that self-absorbed Sioned though. Yeesh. She really can't think of anyone but herself, although I did feel (for the first time) that she might have genuine affection for Macs. I hope she and Iolo will help him through this ordeal when it comes out. As for Scott, yeah, he really cranked up the creepometer in his final scenes. I don't suppose they will ever catch him, even if Macs does eventually report the crime?
[small voice] Is it bad that I noticed how buff Macs was looking in the shower scene? [/small voice]

I haven't seen any thing like that on the comments for todays episode. Only saw a few people say that on the episode from last Friday. All the commentors on today's clip seem to realize Macs was raped by Scott. And for the record , I've only seen like two of the comments that say horrible vile things like "he deserved it". Don't know what those kind of people are thinking. Anyhow...I'm impressed with today's episode and am interested in how Macs continues to handle this and what will happen when Iolo finds out. (and please, please, please, let Sioned not be in this any more than she absolutely has to be! That character is like nails on a chalkboard to me!)

The latest clip courtesy of Anthony. If I was Macs I would have totally gone apeshit crazy or been sobbing in a corner by the end of this clip. He must have been reminded of Scott like 55 times in it.

The writers are continuing to make this storyline compelling for me and all of the actors, especially Rhys as Macs shine. I GET why nobody's "picking up" on Macs' behavior. Nobody goes around thinking that someone they know's going to be raped/attacked. Macs giving answers and excuses that can be believed, but with him not revealing the truth, it's doing more emotional, mental and physical damage to himself. The throwing up, his jumpiness, the feeling that he can NEVER get "clean enough" (all the daily showers), his constant fears of Scott coming back to town. He's absolutely terrified and the constant questions being asked of him of Scott's whereabouts only escalates that fear. He doesn't feel safe.
By the way, the makeup department has done amazing work with all of the healing bruises on Macs face.

Latest episode, courtesy of Anthony. www.youtube.com/all_comments?v=eJjjnt-YHvwSomething's got to give soon. Macs is not dealing well at all. Hopefully Iolo figures out that his brother is acting very odd. I'm anticipating the scene when Iolo finds out what happened.

I think the reveal will happen, when Macs feels trapped by those memories and he can't keep it to himself anymore. I still think that he'll ask Iolo to not say anything to Sioned AND their father about it. I don't see Macs as being written as how a female rape victim would "react" after being attacked. How he's behaving, is because of what Scott did to him and him not being able to talk about it.
Sioned and his relationship started out as an affair. Of course, she would want to have sex/make love with her man/fiance. She sees it as comfort, caring and sharing of their love, desire and affection for one another. Scott's taken all of that away from Macs, by raping him and making him feel like he's less than a "real man" and that he doesn't have power and control over his life.
