Thanks, G for posting the spoilers. Seriously. Would, Rhys be ready, willing and able to forgive Gilly, if the shoe was on the other foot? Beth was Gilly's fiance. She went away with him, promised herself to him and he comes to find out that she, along with his best friend have been stringing him along the entire time?! The spoilers regarding Sasha and Fletch make me want to scream. How can Fletch be so "high and mighty" over what Sasha does to get her fix? If that Nige person wanted Fletch in his bed over some drugs, I bet that he would do it a heartbeat. The Amy and Ste storyline sickens me, but it's only going to get worse for both of them. And was Rhys seriously thinking Gilly was going to forgive him for what he did? Come on, now!

Rhys has always taken Gilly for granted. I'm not surprised he wants to go back to their old friendship. He needs Gilly because he's always used Gilly as someone to feel superior to. I'm looking forward to seeing more of them...Rhys is one of my favorite characters.
How would Steph not know Niall planned a private meal for her? I hope they aren't going to make this a one-sided obsession, because earlier Steph did seem to care for Niall. I don't want Niall to go even more the crazy, obsessed path, I want him to be more complex than that.
I like Nige as a comedy character (remember when he used his awful trumpet playing to force himself into the band), but not as the thug drug dealer who uses Sasha. What is it with Sasha and Michaela both sleeping with the same men? I'm glad Sonny was Sasha's brother (not that that stops some characters). Now we'll see if Michaela goes for Justin.
Amy's such a lousy mother. That's all I can think of whenever I see her. Kathy Barnes was right to kidnap the baby. I know Kathy was crazy, but even a stopped clock is right twice a day.
I hope the custody story is over soon. I really don't like being in the position of feeling sorry for Nancy, a character I despise. I almost think they planned this story JUST to make viewers pity Nancy, as she became a monster last year.
Doesn't it seem like Hollyoaks is spending a lot of time now focusing on the B-list characters? Gilly, Dominic, Sasha, Fletch, Ste, Amy. And I like some of these characters. I just don't understand why the show is not using their star characters more often, the way they did last year.

Overall, I really dislike that storyline cause Amy's stupidity drives me batty. And Ste has no redeeming values. Count me in as another person who despises Nancy and there is pretty much nothing that can be written to ever make me like the character. Gah, I hope that Michaela never sleeps with Justin. Sasha's so deep in a hole, she's not able to save herself so I am hoping Justin saves her cause really, what else does he have going on? Plus they have mucho chemistry.

I can't help thinking they're going to put Michaela with Josh then he'll dump her for Amy. I think we're supposed to see Amy and Josh as the true couple, but I just don't care, as Amy might say (she'd say "cur"). Josh has ignored her for almost a year now and only talks to her when it suits his needs. Amy does seem to care genuinely for Ste and barely thinks about Josh. I want Michaela to be happy with someone, and I'm thrilled she is no longer hanging around Amy.
I still remember too many awful Nancy moments (what she did to John Paul, griping to Tony about how horrible it is to take care of a baby when she saw just how much losing baby Grace tore him apart inside...she was babysitting the night Grace died, for goodness' sake) to ever feel sorry for her. I don't know what they have to do to make her sympathetic, but like Louise and Frankie and Amy and Sarah, she's one of those characters I just don't ever like.
I'd love to see Sasha and Justin again. I'm never sure what they're doing with Justin, since Chris Fountain may not be on the show for more than the rest of the year. Maybe that's why they give such little airtime to some of their best actors, they think they may be leaving. Whatever the reasons, I still don't get why we are seeing so little of Hannah, JP, etc. and so much of dead end characters. Or why they bring people on and do nothing with them (Val).
Listen to me gripe, gripe, gripe. I do enjoy Hollyoaks, I just wish it could get itself together more coherently and end some of these going nowhere stories. Sorry for all the griping. I'm just grateful to have an ear, I guess.

No need to be sorry! I like reading your thoughts... What does that mean?

I'm not sure, Amber. Yet, I'm focusing on the nice, long and hot summer months that we have in store in seeing John-Paul and Kieron as a couple on Hollyoaks. No need to be sorry! I like reading your thoughts... What does that mean?

Yes, I noticed that too and am looking forward to it! Btw, I didn't know Max was leaving too... And Justin getting a new epic romance sounds good! I like Chris Fountain and the character Justin.

No need to be sorry! I like reading your thoughts... What does that mean? Dude, I was thinking that same thing! Talk about vague. As for Justin, that epic new romance better be with Sasha. There is no one the show I want to see him with other than her and that will also include the addition of the new guy Rafi's sister (whose name I can't remember at the moment).

If Craig does come back, then would that mean John Paul leaves with him? I can't see him coming back otherwise. Imagine the McDean fan anger (and I could understand why) if Craig came back and John Paul chose Kieron. If John Paul was going to choose Kieron, then even if they were worried about closure, they may not want to bring Craig back, because people would feel let down as they had always assumed Craig would only be back for SE.
I'm hoping if John Paul has to make a choice, that means Kieron won't die, because that wouldn't be much of a choice if he's dead. Then if John Paul leaves, maybe Kieron can still stay, like Spike could have done if the show had had sense.
Some people think Justin will have an affair with Louise, but I think Rafi is going to have an affair with Louise. Then maybe Nancy will get together with Rafi, while Justin is dating Rafi's sister, and we have Justin and Nancy who will be at war again, and who slept together but no one knows, dating siblings.
I'm not thrilled about Zoe being pregnant. I just hope this doesn't end in another miscarriage or dead baby.
What do you think of Rafi so far?

Is Zoe the one who's dating Sarah's father?
I agree on that IF JP chooses Keiron over Craig, there will definitely be chaos. Yet, I still don't think that the ONLY other option of getting the SE is by killing of Keiron. So, he ends up dead and that's the perfect opportunity to placate fans who want JP w/Craig for all time?

That better not be the reason, because that would really make me resent a SE.

I still don't believe that Guy Burnet is returning, but I'm prepared to be surprised. If Kieron does die, it will have nothing to do with Craig or Craig returning, it will be because Kieron is a short term character whose sole purpose is to be John Paul's exit story regardless of whether Craig returns or not.

Honestly the future/past stuff does sound to me like a Craig guest stint. But based on the the way the story has been going, I would fully expect JP to pick K. You know, it being all life-affirming, putting the past behind you, looking into the future.
Of course it probably largely depends on the contract status of all three guys and I'm not up to date with those.

It's always tough with this show regarding spoilers cause there are so many people who insist they have the inside track or knows someone "in the know" so that there are all these false rumors being spread about constantly. I'd be surprised if Guy B came back to the show, but if he did, it would take more than a few episodes to prove that Craig was past the issues that made it impossible for he and JP to be together the first time around.
And how interesting woud the fall out be if Craig did come back and Kieron was still alive and JP picked Kieron? Ooooooooh, the dust up that would cause. At this point, I'd prefer JP to pick Kieron even though I love McDean. YMMV.

Knowing Hollyoaks, I wouldn't be surprised if Craig came back, John Paul chose Kieron over Craig, and then after Craig left, Niall killed Kieron. Then John Paul would leave alone and brokenhearted. I really hope that doesn't happen.
Probably the only fair thing to do is to only bring Craig back if JP is leaving with him. Otherwise, they would be better off just leaving things as they are now.
If JP is leaving, I wish they could let him leave without being miserable. Whether he leaves with Kieron or with Craig, or whether he leaves alone, I would rather not see him broken and estranged from his family. Since Kris is written as more into women than men and Kieron seems to be a short-term character, once JP goes, there don't seem to be any other gay characters arriving. I'd hate for the show's strongest and possibly last gay male character for quite a while to be sent packing that way.

Thinking about it some more, I suspect Kieron will be dead by the time John Paul makes the decision to leave Hollyoaks. Myra decision to confide in Kieron about her son will turn out to be unwise. Kieron may find a clue at Niall's apartment that he is the abandoned McQueen son and Niall will kill Kieron in a rage.
Later on, John Paul will have to decide if to stay in the past i.e. at home with his family and the memories or pursuing some opportunity out in the world, maybe to be with Craig in Dublin, but more likely a fantastic job.

Well, I got that one wrong. Just as I started to believe that Kieron would be killed off he will be saved. LOL!
So Jake Hendricks who seems to have problems kissing guys will stick around playing a gay character. Now that is going to be interesting, especially as Kieron is such a random character. I wonder what they will do with him.

Wow, so they confirmed that originally did plan to kill him? Because I was starting to think that maybe that was a hoax because of the way the JPK storyline developed on because of how ridiculous the leaked story sounded. Good to hear that he is staying

I am very happy that the primal will remain. ;D Seriously, that scene of him on the couch talking to Niall? Hubba. Very primal. I like the storyline (even though like Simone I do notice the kiss cheating but outside of that aspect it's been nothing but very good work from JH) and it will be interesting to see how this all plays out!! Maybe JP & K will leave town together? I have a feeling this may not be going over well with others as it is here.
