DOB: April 11th 1978
HEIGHT: 5'11"
He grew up in North Carolina and went to NC state, majored in Architecture with minor in Theatre. He was also in a fraternity in college. ;D
Other shows he appeared in included Dollhouse and One Tree Hill
(IMDB.com)
The more I watch One Life to Live, the more I'm totally taken with Kyle Lewis. He is a multi-layered character for sure, and I really can't wait to know more about him.

Do you have a link? I couldn't find a myspace page for him. offhand, I'm disinclined to believe it, just because I think it would have come up in the gay press coverage of the story. I think Scott Evans' first name is "Chris Evans' Openly Gay Brother")

crayfish? hahhahaha
And MessyMe that profile looks fake actually besides maybe the pics. plus him being a celebrity most celebs are not unprofessional about using Myspace... plus if it were real... as we could see during his strip show... he does not have an 'extra baggage' at all. If this myspace profile were real.... I'd very surprised...

? I agree that Crayfish is very clever, but I don't see it in this thread. Plus, I still don't see a link to the Myspace page you're all talking about. I'm having kind of a Twilight Zone moment, like the thread I'm reading isn't the same one everyone else is cyberspace is seeing... help?
For anyone who didn't get it, Cris+Layla+Fish=Crayfish

No problem, I just had kind of a surreal moment there. And I'm all for saying "Crayfish" as much as possible.

Brett has a brief interview with a NC newspaper. (Hometown boy makes good ) Nothing new, except it's always nice to see this cutie and great actor getting positive attention for his work and the role he is playing. www.charlotteobserver.com/179/story/1254481.html h/t to georgiesmith at LJ for the link

Anthony over at AfterElton.com mentioned an interview that WE LOVE SOAPS TV did with Brett (along with with executive producer Frank Valentini and several members of the cast including Kassie DePaiva, Gina Tognoni, Florencia Lozano, Kristen Alderson) after their move to the new studios. One Life to Live moved into its new studios last week with great fanfare as the soap industry’s bloggers and reporters were invited to a celebratory luncheon. They interviewed many of the show’s best and brightest, including Brett Claywell, who plays Kyle Lewis. Damon Jacobs of We Love Soaps spoke to Claywell about the internationally popular Kyle and Oliver romance and asked the actor how playing Kyle has affected him.
Said Claywell: Kyle Lewis has changed Brett Claywell for the rest of his life. It’s made me a more compassionate human being. It’s made me more of an activist. It was a blessing with my work … with my art to be able to stand up and fight for something I believe in, which most artists don’t get a chance to do. And I got to blend something I feel really strongly about in society with the work I’m doing on television and come to the forefront of a social issue and I’m really, really proud to be a part of it.
SPOILER: In terms of story, Claywell was asked how Kyle will feel when Oliver is finally revealed to be the father of little Sierra Rose?
I think Kyle loves Oliver and if the baby turns out to be part of Oliver I think he will love her as equally if not more than he does Oliver. They are a really caring couple who really care about making it work, so adding another piece of the puzzle just makes it more colorful.
Most relationships change when there’s a child brought into the picture. I think this one will change more than most because one of them is not involved with the child. It’s exciting to see where it goes. It’s going to be interesting to see how the couple handles this new obstacle. We’re really looking forward to doing the work.

Thanks softfurbear
I loved the Brett interview(naturally) but would recommend watching the entire interview with the various the cast members. Who knew Frank Valentini was such a cutie?

From part of a larger article I saw this quote: Claywell admits to Soap Opera Weekly that he can’t sing at all.
"I don't sing. I wish I did," said Claywell. "It's the one talent that I don't have that I would trade a lot for. It's a beautiful way to express yourself. I'm jealous of the people who can sing. We have such beautiful voices in our cast."
