Not that kind of bad guy, but come on the guy hold a knife against the man who was blackmailing Lily, he was some kind of bad ass. And he had a lot of insecurities, but wasn't bland as he is right now

What i like about Van and Jake, is that they always have kind words for each other, even when they are not asked directly for the other Yep, you're totally true, it doesn't happen every time at all, I've just recall an interview from another famous soap actor (no names, I don't want to get his fans angry! ), who in very long interview never mentioned his patner, equally involved in this success, I suppose to keep for himself all the spotlight?!

I knew that Van did a casting for an Law and order episode, he commented that almost all the guys that compete with him for that role were taping to play Noah on ATWT, but i didn't know that he get the role, but for schedule problems he couldn't do it. He was booked to play a murderer (well in Law and order, the posibilities for a guest role are murderer or victim)

That good that he's still planning on going to nukapalooza. Van is very considerate of and grateful to his fans. Hopefully everyone there will behave themselves and not put him, Jake or Eric in anymore of an awkward position than they've already been put in.

Michael Fairman On Air On Soaps May 28th, 2010 The Van Hansis Interview – As the World Turns
MICHAEL: Van, what did you think of Noah pushing Luke away during his blindness? Did you feel that it was too “plot devicy”?
VAN: I don’t think it was ‘plot devicy’. I thought it was two people coming to the table with different things. Noah didn’t know where his life was going to be, so he could not commit fully, and that would not be good for Luke right now, but Noah needed space. Luke was saying, “I can be here for you. I can give you whatever you need.” When all Noah needed from Luke was a little bit of space. In the history of their relationship, stuff like this had happened before, but never to this degree. I think it was told well, and in the end, it was Luke who actually broke up with Noah, and said, “I cannot do this anymore,” and that now puts them in a position where Noah wants Luke back. And now, Luke is not sure about that anymore, even though it was him who broke up with Noah. I think the entire time Noah did not want to break up… he just wanted some space. Luke could not handle that.

Should be Van's Facebook page..
Van Hansis: just watched the episode. personally, i like playing luke when he gets knocked down a few pegs. when people say this story (or this episode) is bad writing, i have to disagree. the fact that this singular episode has brought so many opinions to the forefront, and has caused such a ruckus on both sides means someone is telling their stories right. I like Van, but i don't agree with him. I don't think the episode was well writen at all. In fact, all the rest work perfectly, the acting was good on all the three actors, but the rest was awful. Noah and Luke were very damaged as characters in monday's episode

I always thought that one of the reasons Nuke became so popular is Van and Jake realitonship. In a world like actor's where envy is at it fullest (and in some cases very obvious) is nice to find two people who really like each other and they don't waste an occasion to praise each other or to mention the other one This week's cbs soaps in death has the question: If you could cast yourself and a costar in a remake of a classic tv series or movie, show would join you, and in what
Van's answer: That's a great question, i would cast me and Jake in a remake of the cartoon of Robin Hood, i'd be Robin Hood and he'd be Little John

He is really popular, he tops last week tv guide canada poll about how is the one you want to see on daytime again by a big margin (he has more than the 60% of the votes), and he is topping this week's poll, about who is acting out of the park lately with a 74% of the votes.
He said in his interviews he is pursuing a prime time show or films, but he won't reject a daytime offer if it's a short stint (i think for an actor change from time to time are needed), but i think he won't have a problem in getting into daytime again. To be honest i hope he lands a role on a prime time show, a soap is a waste of his talent (and i'm only interested in gay soap storylines)
