Thanks for the photos. And yay for body hair on a man! Woot Van! If there is one thing I like in the USA soaps than I don't in the European soaps it's the body hair factor. Who wears short shorts?

I've seen a pic of Van in the whole get-up in a few signatures, but I didn't realize it was him until now...bad me... He looks good eye-liner...then again I have an eye-liner kink...related to the scarf one...and a few others... Second hurrah for body hair!

Two photos of Van from Sunday night opening night of a play: He looks good. I think it's the scruff.

Lol, I wanted to post the same picture... Saw it posted on someone's LJ. I think he looks gorgeous in it. (Agree it must be the scruff, although I think he looks great without it too.) (PS. Imo Van is a lot more attractive than 'Luke'. )

I love DDR! LOL I'm serious! I have a dance mat here at home.. I used to be REALLY good, but didn't dance in like two years.. Started up again a week a go because a friend of mine wanted to try, I use a double dance mat.. Anyways, I sucked! I forgot how hard it was! I was HOOKED before, danced like 3-4 hours EVERY day for months! No wonder I became quite good.. I suck now though Bonobochick, that play he went to, Hedda Gabler, was written by the Norwegian Henrik Ibsen! Sorry, just had to write that

Okay, that picture of Van is seriously hot. Normally I am all about Jake (or a grrl who looks just like him, SQUEE) but Van is GIVING IT TO US! in that shirt. Fabulous.

Yes he looks great, and it's fantastic to watch what a good relationship they have. Jake has a wide smile on his face after the hug, and it's obvious he is very happy for Van

Well, today are the daytime emmys. I think it'll be difficult that Van win (even some soap journalist pick him as top contender), but with so little air time it's just great being nominated. But i hope he can win this time

Such a great event. I missed it this year because of work. Yay Van. He's so down-to-earth and gorgeous with a twinge of geeky. Love it.

What i like about Van and Jake, is that they always have kind words for each other, even when they are not asked directly for the other

While we wait for the boys to come on again.. look at the beginnings of Luke with Van in them.... you know back when he was getting good air time and good writing. I started looking at them today and boy you really notice a huge difference in the writing and the acting. www.youtube.com/watch?v=PIM4RGHOYvg&feature=related

In my opinion the main difference is Luke as character. At the begining of his coming out storyline Luke had guts, in fact he was some kind of bad guy (well, at the very begining), since the begining of Nuke storyline he was a lot more whiny and only on a very few times he reminds the character he was. I think Van's acting is really good everytime he has an oportunity, wich is from time to time, because with such crap storylines it's very tough to shine

These insecurities are still there and I know that it's an unpopular opinion but it's have more to do with his screwed family than with his his love life (Having Holden and Lily like example is not something reassuring ) I wish that the writer would have build a Luke more confident after the election storyline (trying to go to college and finding a sense to his life ) than an insecure mess But since the show is completely plot driven and not character driven this is not a surprise

Well said. LUke was a mess before Noah even got to town. A wonderful, good, loving mess, but a mess none-the-less. This is about Noah and Luke figuring out how to NOT be their parents or let their parents' issues control what kind of men they are and what kind of partners they can be to someone. I hope the writers get that with Luke before the show ends. Being raised by Lily, Holden and the specter of Damien could make any man have serious issues about abandonment and such.
