VL sure has some tallass men Yes! I think Thore is among the tallest guys there, no? I think he's even taller than Andreas (Gregor). Joscha looks so much better with shorter hair!

Nono, Andreas is definitely taller. You can see it in some of their scenes together and it's in their bios too.

I'm kinda used to actors lying about their height but most of their heights come from their official agency websites, so I guess there they have to be precise.
Besides the relations (Thore 186, Jo 184, Andreas 190) sound about right.
Joscha is listed as 178 (which of course still isn't short; at least not Tom Cruise type of short ;D)

OMG, he too is taller than me... What do they put in the milk of german children? And dutch, danish, etc... And me. Maybe all the short people in northern Europe emigrated to the United States a century or more ago. At my grandfather's funeral a few years ago (he was full blooded Norwegian but the 2nd generation born in the U.S., over a century ago, now), his grandchildren were the pall barriers. I was amazed to discover that I was the tallest, and I'm so used to thinking of myself as short (because I am)! And I certainly didn't get the height (if you can call it that) from the Welsh side of my family, either.

And dutch, danish, etc... According to Wikipedia: Human height, or how tall people become, varies according to both "nature" and "nurture". The particular human genome that an individual inherits is a large part of the first variable (nature), and a combination of health and environmental factors present before adulthood (when growth stops) are a major part of the second determinant ("nurture"). Hereditary factors include both genes and chromosomes, and are inborn. Environmental factors are events that occur before adult height is reached, such as diet, exercise, and living conditions.

I'd continue this discussion in the Chat Thread because I don't want to stay OT.

Ok, let's say the truth: 1.74 (and proud of it!) ;D Your still taller than me, Aldebaran. I'd come in about 6 cm below you, yet. But then I'm used to being short. One of my best friends in high school was 6' 8" (2.03 m). My sister and others tell me it was quite comical seeing the two of us walking down the hall between classes having some animated conversation or another. I got used to looking up.

I'm pretty sure they got their asses kicked soccer-wise. Somebody who was there said that Milan was in a particularly foul mood. ;D
