y'all do realize that the contact form on that website is contact the author of the website, and not thore... right? ;-) Oops, I didn't! I thought that one thing was the "Guestbook", where anyone could send messages to the website, and another one the "Contact" page. It's not so clear! What a shame! I won't be able to show myself in public anymore!!! And, worst thing, Thore will never know what a great actor I think he is! Thanks Wolfi, and if you know the author of the site tell him that I'm a bit crazy, but not dangerous... ;D maybe he'll be cool enough to forward it - you never know! :-)

The TS fanpage put up an interview with him. Here is the translation. thoreschoelermann-fanpage.ag.vu/interview.htmlI have to say, he writes (I assume it was an email interview, or maybe via phone?) like an overexcited 13 year old girl. Q: How did you get to be an actor? Was it a childhood dream? T: Yes it was. After graduation I was still unsure, maybe go to college after all? My parents told me then, rather try it out now. Otherwise you'll be sitting in some office 20 years from now and tell yourself: Had I just done it. Thank you mom and dad! How did you end up on Forbidden Love? The classic way: Agency - Casting - Wohooo! (it should be noted here that VL occasionally recruits actors through fan or newspaper contest; I believe the actress who plays Miriam was cast like that) How long have you been with Forbidden Love? When was your first day of shooting and how was it for you? Oh my god, my first day of shooting. That was a year ago, no two years ago. Phew. I was so nervous I have forgotten the day. It was definitely September 2nd. Episode 2811. Could that be? Oh man... What did you do before Forbidden Love? After graduation I did the military service and then did 7 months of acting school. With whom amongst your collegues do you get along with especially well? Who do you also do stuff with on your own time? Naturally one doesn't get along equally with everybody, but I have to say that the whole team of VL is pretty awesome. But if I had to name anybody in particular it would probably have to be Andreas my "brother", Milan (he plays Constantin, his storyline doesn't really intersect with Christian and Oliver, but he'll soon be another additional suitor for Judith), Jo... phew! We party together, we box... did I mention party? Describe your role "Christian Mann" in a few words. What do you like in particular about your role? Christian is somebody who has already gone through a lot in life (death of his mother and father, jail...). Because of that he is very careful/suspicious when it comes to other people. He overreacts a lot, is very physical, has a hard time talking about his feelings even though he is very sensitive. He doesn't talk about it, he just loves. Gregor is the last one from his family he has left and therefore the most important person in his life. What's a working day at Forbidden Love like? Geting up 6.15... Make up 7.15....8.00 Begin of shooting ... It might be finished at 11.00 or at 19.00. It depends. Do you like getting fanmail and answer it personally? Naturally! I love getting fanmail and naturally answer it myself. Of course! So how's your love life? Do your female fans still have a chance with you? What should your dream woman be like? My dreamwoman still has to be created. I'm single. Spontaneously, what comes to your mind about your time in school (particularly school trips, pranks...)? Hehe, I'll just say that I think my teachers only released me with a deep breath and a sigh. School was crazy on one side, but also really funny. What did you like particularly and what not about school? I really didn't like it very much. I think it's particularly stupid if you arrive at school for the first class and to find out that you could have stayed home because the teacher is sick. ARGH! Where do you like to vacation? I like the north... rough climate! Skandinvia, Norway... Canada! [Me: you Canadians have all the luck!] Where did you spend you last vacation? At the Atlantic coast, camping and surfing... Awesome! Do you manage to keep your flat tidy? [me: what kind of stupid question is that?] Depends. I don't really like it untidy, but sometimes it just happens. If you have stuff lying around, you put something next to it rather quickly. What are your strenghts and your weaknesses? I'm loyal, goal-oriented and an optimist. Sometimes I'm a bit too vehement and have my principles... I know, very annoying! Do you have a role model? No. Nobody is perfect.

Thanks lolaruns for the translation of Thore's interview! I got it translated by Google once but the result was quite lame. Your version is better for sure! You're right, Canadians are pretty lucky, they both seem to like that country. I can't blame them, it must be really amazing! But fortunately, rough climate can be found in the Alps too, and they proved to like it. Since I live very close to Alps...I think I'm a bit lucky too! Right mounti?

Yes aldebaran , you are lucky too! Torino as host of the last Olympic winter games and quite close to mountain area. I am sure Thore would appreciate the combination! Isn’t it interesting that both, Thore and Jo are enthusiasts of Canada… And who is going there coming summer alone or with a “second person”… ;D

They're both keen on winter sports, who knows, maybe they came here to watch some matches during the Games. German parties in town were the most appreciated during those days. Perhaps I also crossed either of them along the street but then I still didn't know them. OMG, I'm gonna faint... I know, I'm flying too high with fantasy, aren't I? ;D Besides, Turin and Cologne are twin cities, what else could I wish?

We get quite a lot of German tourists here in Vancouver. They come for the skiing. Where else can you go skiing in the morning, and play a round of golf or tennis in the afternoon? No wonder they love it here.

No wonder they love it here. and the glorious shopping on Robson St! Don't forget that! My second favorite place in BC after Grouse Mountain. And the gorgeous views from Stanley Park. Ah, the memories. Gah, I need to go back to Vancouver this year instead of to Montreal.

I just find it interesting that Canada somehow became the "IT" location to travel to overseas. And not the USA

You also meet a lot of German-speaking tourists in Canada's Rocky Mountain parks, Jasper and Banff. Our Germanic friends really seem to be nature-lovers!

Makes me wonder if that's an actor thing. That they are protective of their voices. Because they seem to be wearing them a lot.

Theatre actors wear them a lot too. Maybe it makes you look more like an artisan. lol

Some old interview from when he joined the show back in 2006: www.vl-marienhof.de/privat/Ulli/Thore+Kris.JPGJust has him mention how different it is if people recognize him on the street. Mentions that he loves partying/going out in Köln and particularly a karaoke place. Mentions that he's single. This forum has another interview from that time period: 18575.rapidforum.com/topic=102979481776&startid=7Only new thing is (or was to me) that he mentions that he has an older brother and an older sister.

It's not really cool to joke around with an actor's sexuality because of the roles he takes on camera.
