Olivia is so cute when she does sappy eyes. It shows that as an actress she is kinda wasted as a one note bitch. She really needs another romance.

Damn Andreas is working today! Can someone recap the Axel/Christian/Olli/Gregor scene at NoLimits? I haven't had a chance to watch. I don't recall seeing that much detail in the ep recap but let me doublecheck cause I am rather scatterbrained at the moment.

Really like this episode. Of course, I'm an Olivia fan...so, not so strange. Loved Christian's annoyance with Gregor's usual, insipid lines too. Knew Olli couldn't stay mad at Olivia for long heh. Ugh...pain. Back to the meds Geoff

O my goodness... The physical acting was off the hook today! All I can say is: 4minutes and 53 seconds into the clip. Axel + doing the blowjob gesture = me laughing my ass off. Also, the slow motion Olli/Olivia hug, and Chrissy sarcastically saying Gregor's line the same time Gregor is saying it to Rebecca, and also Gregor's "I'm keeping my eyes on you" gesture to Axel. Good stuff! Thanks Ivan!

Gregor threatens to call the police on Axel for invading Gregor's premises. Ollian say they'll handle it. Olli wants to know where Olivia is. Axel says "Aha!" they send Olivia after him. Olli wants to mess Axel up but Christian holds him back. Axel makes a few more remarks and leaves. Olli asks Christian why he held him back, they should have asked Axel where Olivia is. Christian says that obviously Axel doesn't know where she is either otherwise he wouldn't have come to No Limits.
Later Olivia comes and says Axel trashed her phone and she was afraid to come to No Limits because there Axel would have found her immediately. Later she tells them that she kneed Axel in the groin and Christian is like "Ah, that's why he was talking like a castrated bull" and tells her she did well.
ETA: I love that even in a dire situation like that Olivia just can't keep her mouth shut. Axel demands she give him the tape recorder. She hands it to him and blurts out "I hope you'll be very happy together" (Axel and the tape recorder) ;D

Thanks, Ivan, for the video and the wonderful caps!
For me the best line in the whole episode was: Rebecca: And honestly, do you know one single couple that's really happy? Lydia: Olli and Christian.
Kristina Dörfer is an amazingly good actress, especially considering the fact that she didn't went to an acting school (she got trained as a secretary). And Jo was absolutely great!

I don't recall seeing that much detail in the ep recap but let me doublecheck cause I am rather scatterbrained at the moment. Not a lot of detail in the recap, no - because I didn't really catch what was going on, other than the general gist (the perils of having an almost-non-German speaker recapping a German show, I guess ). Thankfully Lola could fill in the gaps for me. I have to say, I really loved Olivia in this storyline. So much fun, and so much heart - something we don't get to see very often.

I know that Axel is not the brightest crayon in the box but does he really want to get arrested? I mean, he returns to places he has been barred from, makes numerous threats and brags about his assault on Olli. Now I am aware that he was angry and looking for Olivia in this instance, but surely the wisest thing for someone who has so far escaped trial for their crime to do would be to keep your head down and lay low for a while, not drawing attention to yourself in this aggressive and irritating manner? Unless, of course, being arrested would be such a status symbol for Axel that he's pursuing it. Of course, this would all make sense if they were real people but I guess it wouldn't make as interesting TV. And we wouldn't get to see Olivia do her stuff!
I may be back to comment further when I've seen the subbed episode!! Keep up the good work peeps.

Hey, that was my thought too this evening when I saw that scene! ;D I couldn't stop laughing at it btw; really funny! And a big, big thanks of course to Ivan for the clip and caps!! Olivia was great today and that scene between her and Olli was really cute. (I really liked today's episode as a whole btw; the rest was interesting as well. )

I didn't like Christian today. He doesn't like Olivia but shouldn't it be enough that Olli loves her? Then Christian is making fun of Gregors flirting when Olli (who could meet Axel on the street or anywhere) is looking for Olivia who is in danger. And he didn't even try to comfort Olli. And the happiness about her return was not there. Maybe I'm too romantic about this, but just imagine a situation with Gregor in the place of Olivia (and she's a woman). christian would have freaked out and Olli, too because he knows how much Christian loves his brother.
But the episode was great anyway because I loved the scenes with Olivia and Olli. They're the cutest friends. And the short meeting with Tanja was funny, too.
Oh, and I absolutely loved that Olli would have done everything to know what happened to Olivia. Funny that Christian was the one who had to held him back.He was so worried about his cousine to do even that and Olli normally has this anti-violence rule.

Okay. What am I missing here.
Forget for a moment that Olli's case cannot proceed without sufficient evidence. Why can't Olivia press HER OWN charges against Axel or report that Axel assaulted AND attempted to rape her? Would that not fly either because of lack of witnesses? And in sexual assault cases there mostly are no witnesses but a he said/she said situation that turns on the credibility of the parties. I don't get it...
Otherwise, I of course loved all the Ollian bits, Thore's English, and Jo's acting. Kristina also gets special kudos for today: she is such a beautiful woman and her chemistry with Jo/Olli is off the charts as well. Her rare moment of vulnerability really touched me. How could Olli not forgive his crazy cousin? :-)

You're right. I confess: I get carried away when watching VL way too much. When a love story is told as well as Ollian's compared to what we get here in the States, I tend to invest so much more in things like details that I shouldn't really care that much about. :-)

Thank you Ivan, Nanna and Tihkon ;D What a GREAT episode! I was laughing so hard at Christian's facial expressions and when he started mocking what Gregor was saying was HILARIOUS! ;D and of course the here we go again in english was *sigh* very nice ...it brought tears to my eyes when Olivia said to Olli that he and Charlie is all she has that was so sweet...I am so glad that Olli forgave Olivia!

But isn't Olivia double not credible in this case? No witnesses, he didn't actually get very far, she has motive to accuse him of something because of Olli and she sort of isn't the most credible person in general.
ETA: Axel's arms are freaking huge when he pins her agains the wall. I swear his biceps is bigger than her head.
Did Christian call Gregor a "Backyard Clooney?". Which is funny, I remember Sarah comparing Gregor to Clooney as well when they were dating.
Olivia's moment of vulnerability was awesomely acted. It's there when she tells Olli that she only has him and Charlie and as soon as she sits down you can see that she is back to trying to get her rough persona but not quite managing.

But isn't Olivia double not credible in this case? No witnesses, he didn't actually get very far, she has motive to accuse him of something because of Olli and she sort of isn't the most credible person in general. Yeah but that should not matter because in real life, there would have been bruises all over Olivia's arms, and she could have taken photos of those or run to the police immediately. The criminal charge would have been attempted rape and assault and battery, which Axel has motive to commit since Olivia was attempting to coerce a confession from him regarding what Axel did to Olli. But come to think of it, Olli had a medical file and that still wasn't enough for the police to make the charges against Axel stick. And I do agree that in the he said/she said scenario, Olivia would likely run into trouble because there could be character witnesses that could vouch that Olivia is a borderline pathological liar. Axel, however, could run into credibility issues as well since there are already enough witnesses who heard him say he beat up Olli, and a case could be made that Axel has a history of violent and aggressive behavior toward others. Too confusing. I'll just try to continue to suspend my disbelief on the legal issues. ;D

First, thanks again to Ivan, Nanna, and Tihkon. I rather liked today's episode. Olivia may have been really stupid to go back after Axel again, but Axel was being as brutish as can be. I am glad she escaped without any physical harm done and without him actually being able to finish what he was attempting. It was a close one. And when Olivia re-appears, the actress did a fine job in selling her being scared, I thought. It is instances like this that make me not see Olivia as merely a self-serving brat. Underneath the snark and the self-interest is someone who is more. And I thought it was quite sweet to see Olli so worried about her. They are like siblings, and it showed today. And Olivia, for once, has been made to realize she should have listened to Olli. I did really like her snark about Axel and the tape recorder being happy together. I love Christian with his "Here we go again" and the imitation of Gregor and recitation of his line. I also got a real hoot out of his line about Gregor loosing to a sewing machine. Very good dig out of Christian, there. And Thore's face remains amazing in its expressive ability. I didn't mind Christian's behavior when Olli was so worried. I read him as worried, too, but also knowing that (other than pursuing Axel when he left No Limits) Olli really had to do something and not be kept behind for some words of comfort. Support for Olli there was true but of a different sort. I thought it was in Christian's character and appropriate for the relationship between them.

Well, all this has done is demonstrate the sorry state of the criminal justice system in Germany.
Christian's revulsion and mocking of Gregor's (oft-used) lines was ridiculously funny! The more romantic of the two, Christian has always been disapproving of the way Gregor plays the game. But now I think he's just weary of it. Kind of the way he's getting weary of Judith and Lydia actually. It seems like everyone around him but Olli is getting on his nerves these days. Must be boxing deprivation.
Rebecca blowing Gregor off for girl's time was cute, but I'm sure it will lead to trouble. I'm not sure he's over his thing against women yet.
As for Olivia, the only thing that surprised me here is that she doesn't carry mace, a knife or a gun. Especially given the kind of trouble she habitually gets into. Plus, doesn't she work for evil Tanja (unless this missing work thing gets ugly)? Surely Madame Cruella herself has a PDA full of hit men and other thugs that could stick a shiv in Axel? Or failing that get him addicted to Cocaine. If Olivia wants to be a villainess she really needs to set her sights higher. Rule #1: only peasants do their own dirty work.
But we had the "Awwwww" moment as she and Olli made up. Blech!
Thanks as always to our dedicated heroes Ivan, Nanna and Tihkon for their tireless efforts on this very busy week! You guys are angels!

My favorite miscarriage of VL justice is still that when I watched one of the episodes from around when Olli returned there suddenly was Nathalie (one of the principal supposedly likable characters) bound and gagged in a bathtub while Constantin's evil father Adrian was sitting openly in front of her sermonizing to her. Errr, whatever happened to that considering both of them are running around free now. Did she just forgive him because he brought back Ansgar's son? (and that of course doesn't touch Tanja apparently getting off for kidnapping her own son and making Ansgar believe his child was dead with apparently one positive testimony from the Lahnsteins; or that apparently nobody will ever find out that Adrian abducted baby Sophia and and and) One could say that all soaps are natural cynics

This is a soap and stranger things happened on them than that things are a bit unrealistic, ATWT ghosts come to mind They assumed that it would not help instead of just trying out and see. As for Olivia having Tanja's help at her disposal, I don't think so. She's not on a friendly basis with Tanja, Tanja does not owe her anything anymore and given Olivia's attitude she can hardly ask anybody of Tanja's people for a favour. And remember, this is Olivia, she does not think things through. She starts something and the rest just happens to her.
