Thanks, Ivan. I loved the 'soap opera drama' of it all. Between the crescendo music, the dramatics looks (Olli, Olivia and Axel) and the lighting effects, I was intrigued.

Also, does anyone else think that the actress who portrays Lydia NOW looks like Kirsty Swanson (the original Buffy Summers)?! I just noticed the resemblance today. The haircut is still awful. I hope the actress' hair grows into somthing that can be fixed into an attractive look for her.

Lola - I noticed that Christian was being nice to Olivia. It was a cute scene.

I haven't had achance to watch the clip on my phone but yiiiiiikes on Lydia's hair. She had nice, thick hair but this new "style" is not doing her any favors IMO.

I find there is quite the contrast between Olli and Christian. It seems Olli is the neater of the two when it comes to their "grooming". Olli's hair is always just right and he is most often clean shaven. Christian on the other hand seems always to be without a shave, always with some scruff on his face to make him sort of rough looking and his hair isn't always the tidiest.

About their hair, I'd say that Olli looks very "gay", while Christian keeps this air of "straightness", maybe the last thing that is left. ;D

I can't believe how great Olivia is. I hope Christian acknowledges it. And it was cute when she said, she would help "them" and not just "I'll help Olli". Christian and Olivia never liked each other and now they're in this awkward position that Olli is the most important person for both. It would be nice if they find a way to get along.

Ooooh dear! Even I, with appalling knowledge of German can tell that this is not good for Olivia!!
However, I am an optimistic person so I shall cling to the hope that this will be even worse for Axel. We know that Olivia usually looks after number one first (although, granted, she is trying to help Olli and Christian this time!) so I'd imagine she'll fight back, and probably fight dirty.

Hopefully Axel won't know what's hit him (although that may enrage him further, first being beaten by a gay boxer and then by a girl. Hmmmm, maybe not such a good plan).


On a sidenote, I rather like Thore's hair. It has something of a tousled, just-got-out-of-bed look.
And that's just fine by me.

1) Is it me, or does Christian's hair suddenly change from non-highlighted to highlighted in between scenes today? That said, the blonde has actually totally grown on me, and even the wispy beardy crap has become somewhat endearing. Looking at the older clips now he just looks far too young and like a completely different person, so for now I'm giving a cautious "Hurrah!" in favour of the highlights.

2) Aww, it looks like they're phasing Miriam out and replacing her with another crazy blonde who is decidedly less interesting. Boo-urns. Major "Bwah!" for the photo of Lydia losing a boxing match to the punchball though - she's intensely weird, and if they dial down the crazy and let her smile properly again she may grow on me some more. Her hair still looks like hot ass though.

3) Ah, Olivia will be fine. Seriously, this is how every episode of Alias ended for, like, the first three seasons. Sydney (Olivia) is captured, some big muscle-bound freak has her pinned and rips off her wig/disguise and Dixon/Vaughan (Olli) sits like the useless fools that they are in an ops van too far away to help, shouting "Sydney! SYDNEY!" into a mic. Then she'll suddenly pull some kung-fu out of her ass and kick the crap out of the muscle-freak and flip him into a furnace or some such. Or possibly her dad (her dad) will appear from nowhere and save her ass. So Olivia will be just fine, mark my words.

(I was going to comment on the fact that Olivia getting an illegal taped confession from Axel proves diddly-squat and is about as useful as legal evidence as me writing "Axel Did It!" in crayon on the back of a bar napkin, but then I remembered that this is a soap, so I took a few swigs of cointreau and went back to admiring Christian's hair)

I'm no lawyer but I'd say that the fact that she heard Axel admit that he beat up Olli would be far better than this highly illegal recording. Admittedly she's his cousin, but I think it still would hold up in court. But, like you said, it's a soap and it was very dramatic, so could you please pass me the cointreau?
