Wow - thanks for decorating the place Aldebaran - it looks so much more like home already - though I am slightly shocked that you even managed to include the beaver in the background of pic 4 ;D OK, that clinches it. If I had any doubt whatsoever, it's gone. I'm gay. I had to go back and look at what in the world Sheepie was talking about. I was too busy looking at the guy to notice what was in the background. lol.

Sooo tired. Sooo sore. Just spend 8 hours helping my brother re-landscape his backyard. Read: transformation from Weed Jungle to Party Patio, Day 1. Did I also mention the backyard is two flights of stairs down from the main level of the house because it's built on a ravine? At least he pays in steak dinners and beer, so it's a good arrangement. I don't remember, but I wouldn't mind seeing those again. Ask, and ye shall receive: Alexandre Despatie And as a bonus, Adam Van Koeverden because he's pretty.

OH and I went out this evening. Up to Wausau to go to a bookstore and do some shopping/browsing. I wanted to take a look at some audio-visual equipment at Best Buy. We ended up buying a blu-ray disc player and a new stereo receiver/amplifier. Now, after unloading our bank accounts, we get the fun of setting them up and giving them a try. *jumps up and down excitedly*

Awww what a sweet brother you are!!!! So when is the first party on the new patio? And does the new landscape include a hot tub.......you could probably use one after all that work!!! Hmmmmmm hot, shirtless, sweaty hunks doing manual labor ............God I love summer!!! OK, that clinches it. If I had any doubt whatsoever, it's gone. I'm gay. I had to go back and look at what in the world Sheepie was talking about. I was too busy looking at the guy to notice what was in the background. lol. LOL. Me too. Well that must be a HUGE relief to your respective OH's!!!!! ;D ETA Thanks for the new pics Mikey........Adam is adorable.....is an athlete or just posing as one?

Morning Mom! God, I thought I was sore last night... oy. No hot tub in the new backyard, but I think I used up all the hot water in my building taking a looooooong shower when I got back last night. Adam is indeed an athlete. He is a kayaker in 500m and 1000m events, and will be Canada's flag-bearer for the opening ceremonies. Canada isn't known for it's strong performance in the Summer games (we placed 19th in Athens and hope for top 16th in Beijing...) but Adam and Alexandre are some of our top hopefuls. How is the birthday weekend progressing?

Sheepie, I didn't notice the woman in the Chris Evans photo either, so I guess that proves I am a straight woman. Once I did see it, all I could think about was the terrible boob job she was sporting. Her foobies are really ghastley. Bonobochick I know you guys have to read everything on the board....but I wanted to make sure you didn't miss " Forever Blue" posted by Cherrios in the Other Shows thread. She even did a video using the music "We Are The Lucky Ones"! I haven't watched the videos yet but I did see the links. Thanks for the heads up, Mom, about Forever Blue. BTW, next US airing of that episode is Wed. Aug. 6, 2008 at 11:00 PM on TNT according to imdb. I agree with you about Cold Case. There are a couple of eps that have made me cry at the end but they're all phenomenal. Cool eps: I think TNT is about to begin airing S4 episodes in the near future and I think USA folks can catch all of these episode except A Perfect Day, which is S3. I have lots to do today. I didn't see Incredible Hulk last night, did hang out with a buddy, have tons of things to do today, both fun and not-so-fun. I also have a book I have to submerge into again ( Breaking Dawn... Vampires, Werewolves, Love, Oh My! ) for a little while today. Maybe check out Brideshead Revisted. Hope everyone is doing well! It's lovely outside today, in the high 70s/ low 80s so I am going to take advantage of it and get a bit of a tan. Don't be too naughty while I am away... it's on Princess and GayTime to crack the whip...

Tomorrow....one more celebration with the girls and then Tuesday Bradley and his dad leave! But at least you will still have Bamrah and after that adorable card he gave you, he should more than make up for it. Was all misty when I read it. Working 84hrs this week Mom AND I have a broken hand... Need sympathy and cuddles. Would invite you to sign my cast, but think it'll look suaver without squiggles on it. You can kiss it better if you want though...?

Once I did see it, all I could think about was the terrible boob job she was sporting. Her foobies are really ghastley. As a straight woman from Southern California I immediately noticed horrible boob job on the woman in the poster......I guess living here it's second nature to make the "fake", "real" or "really good/bad fake" call without even thinking about it.......that is very sad! Hope everyone is doing well! It's lovely outside today, in the high 70s/ low 80s so I am going to take advantage of it and get a bit of a tan. Don't be too naughty while I am away... it's on Princess and GayTime to crack the whip... That is perfect tanning weather! Enjoy your day in the sun! ;D We will try to behave.......but honestly.....Princess couldn't crack his Prada whip right now if his life depended on it ;D and Wolfi is probably too afraid to enter the Chat Thread after yesterday! But he shouldn't feel bad.......he blamed it on "human error", personally I think it was a "flying Monkey" or that big shark from AE! ETA Thanks for the Cold Case links and Wed. night I can watch Forever Blue before I leave town!!!!! ;D

Awwww , a little "manly blinking" as Sheepie would say!! BTW Bam made a rather poor choice today.......he's lucky he has soooooo many brownie points.....or he could have been in big trouble!!!! Working 84hrs this week Mom AND I have a broken hand... Need sympathy and cuddles. Would invite you to sign my cast, but think it'll look suaver without squiggles on it. You can kiss it better if you want though...? I will look for a cuddling/kissing boo-boo smilie and post it just for you!!!! Til then this will have to do.... 84 hours!!! Even without a broken hand, that would be brutal!!!! Can't you talk to someone about that?.......oh yeah..... you are someone....how did you manage to schedule yourself like that!!! Too many pain meds whilst working out the shifts? [glow=red,2,300]Sooooooo[/glow] how was the Kylie concert......you need an assistant to do your typing.......cause I'm sure we are going to get the very condensed version, until the hand is better!!! Thank you for suffering thru to bring us all the new decorations! I for one really appreciate it! ;D And that was the Ricky pic I was hoping for! Thanks again for all your hard work! [glow=red,2,300]ETA[/glow] Thanks for including the adorable pic of Treacle! I missed her too from the old Chat Thread!!!

Kylie was brilliant. Wasn't as good as the Showgirl Tour or Showgirl Homecoming Tour, but that is to be expected. OH wasn't as in to it as me though, so he won't be invited again... Was as silly, excited and tipsy as one would hope, so yeah - a good time was had.

I know what you mean though, there are some, actually, many things, I enjoy more without my spouse! If they are not going to really get into it, it's better to leave them out next time.....But OH gave it a shot, for you, so that was very sweet on his part!

yes, i had a real tent... i think the main reason it didn't burn down was because it was really rainy up here in Nova Scotia, but luckily i was in the "eye of the storm" so to speak - until i went to the nearby beach and Mom you have to tell us all about the dinner once it's over! it sounds very interesting....

Have a good Birthday Dinner Part 3 (4?), Mom! Thanks for the "decorating", Ollian. That must have taken forever with only one hand The speedo guy is very handsome but he's a bit too big for my liking. And I hadn't seen that particular Benjamin Godfre pic before. Very nice, though his legs look so pale compared to his torso ;D. Eek, so picky today... I'm probably going to get banned from the forums for this but, Beckham just doesn't do anything for me... Enh, more of him for the rest of you

I am all bereft... where is DeRo hiding? It seems like forever since they've been on... Just got done watching the new Mummy movie. It was shit. Don't watch it.....Waste of my time. I was so annoyed I started rooting for the mummy.... Floatilla, this site is your friend: www.rottentomatoes.com/m/mummy_tomb_of_the_dragon_emperor/Sheepie, I didn't notice the woman in the Chris Evans photo either, so I guess that proves I am a straight woman. Oh, yea, the SoCal thing... I totally feel ya. WESTSIDE! Anyhoo, you get so used to foobies, tanorexia, and badly dyed blond hair, it's like home. I guess I am out of practice or Chris just looked that good in the photo that it took Sheepie's comment to have me notice her.

I kinda miss DeRo. While I do love Ollian, part of the fun for me is the whole contrast and compare. JPK is too depressing for me to invest with all the stuff about actors leaving. Nuke has actually been okay lately. Not enough screentime but they get screentime about once a week and the material is actually rather decent. It feels connected.
Still, I miss having more than one German storyline to compare.

What did I miss...I can't find the question mark on the french keyboard, soo... I'm just stopping by to say I lived the plane trip, and heard about the Turin thunderstorms. I hope you are all right Aldebaran. Aldebaran was the na,e of the french atomic testing when they got nuclear bombs... I learned that last night. Well, hugs to all!
