You watch the whole episodes and want to talk about something other than Noah & Luke? Here's the thread. That said, am I alone in my Casey/Emily love??

Nope, you are not alone in your love for them, there are quite a few fans that seem to like them, for me it seems like somedays I really like them, and then others not so much.

I think they can be really hot together but sometimes the constant mention of their age difference gets on my nerves!
I felt bad for Faith today, finding out your father just had an affair by your mom yelling at the other woman is a sure pathway to daddy issues... 'Faith Snyder to stage 2, Faith Snyder stage 2' j/k
Parker and Liberty...The whole thing makes me a bit queasy...ok kids have sex..got it...and its horribly awkward...got it...how i hope there are no more sex scenes...watching Parker in a sex scene made me throw up a little in my mouth...
Where are they going with the 'EVIL' jewlery? That sounds so Vevetta! so Passions! Anyone know where they are going with that?

So spoiler here regarding Casey & Emily: soapbox.pgpphoto.com:3864/showthread.php?t=36064I loved their wedding on Friday's episode. It was silly and fun but Casey's vows were so sweet. I know Emily is not in her right mind at the moment though I think she does truly love Casey. Dusty does nothing for me, either with Emily or with Lily, so I will be displeased if he comes back and Emily dumps Casey, who loves her totally and who she clicks with so well, for Dusty.

i fast fwrd through most of the ep b/c i noticed it was all about the 'poison' but i had to watch their wedding, he is a sweetheart...i am going to feel really bad for him if she screws him over...not if i should say but when..
spoiler reply: i really don't see the point of dusty coming back...i didn't think the character was great either, here's my theory, b/c lily and holden are really getting separated this time maybe they are bringing someone for lily, but i think it should've been a new character/

I really have gotten to the point where I like the other s/l better than L and N. I actually like the whole Parker/Liberty + entourage s/l and I think Casey and Em can be totally hot. And, the EVIL jewelry as you put it, is quite hilarious and entertaining. People jumping on people like monkeys. WOO.

Casey and Emily continue to make me smile. I thought they were the best part of Monday's episode until I saw the preview for Tuesday's ep with Aaron being shot. I like the look of Agim Kaba but I find Aaron really annoying. And I really like the photo here, just too bad no Jake S: welovesoaps.blogspot.com/2008/08/magnussens-band-dash-draws-crowd.html

I love how on Friday, when Liberty turned on the tv for Parker, Olympic music played.

I have a question. The latest development on ATWT made me curious again so I went to the show homepage and saw Dusty is still in the cast, wasn't he killed some time ago? What happened, is he undead now? ;D

He had help from Lucinda, who it seems didn't care that her daugter and son-in-law were being blamed for his death.

He had help from Lucinda, who it seems didn't care that her daugter and son-in-law were being blamed for his death. Dusty came back one-note and ridiculously over the top. I continually root for Craig cause he may be a punk, but he's interesting, layered and intelligent. I only hope TPTB keep Emily away from Dusty in the future and keep Dusty in the Vortex of Suck so I can continue to FF over it. YMMV. So reading spoilers for next week, Jade begins to work for Emily. That could be interesting but how is it going to work out with the romance portion that we all know is coming up? Will it be Jade/Casey/Alli/Matt? Will Emily be tossed in there since she will hate the idea of Alli/Casey? So I was ATWT's official site this morning and was checking out the photo galleries, this photo makes me want Jade/Casey a little more: www.cbs.com/daytime/as_the_world_turns/photos/photos.php?v=23242&s=3&p=1

The weird but good thing about Dusty's current arc is that the writers seem to know and want the audience to know, that he is being a bully. He's been called out on his bahavior by Josie, Tom, and even little Johnny. Some people like Meg, who's lost the ability to use her brain, give him a pass, but not anyone else. Maybe TPTB have been reading message boards, and will tone the character down, or maybe they are highlighting his behavior because they want to prop up Craig.

I found the Casey/Emily story on youtube. I am quite fangirly at the moment: www.youtube.com/watch?v=3Aq_IxzGJNgIt also reminds me of how lacking Casey/Allison is in comparison. Just dreadful.

Today's Valentine's Day fairytale fantasy episode was hysterically bad, in the "I'm currently on ACID" way.

I thought the first fairytale was pretty bad, and I just felt so sorry for the actors. But three middle three were pretty good, mainly because of John L., who really had fun with what he was given.
I thought it was interesting that some of the stories pointed out some of the problems with the show, mainly the on-going saga of Meg being paired with Craig, Paul or Dusty, and either one or both guys who's she's not with at the time being jealous, the rough way that Dusty treats Meg and how she falls down at his feet when he chastises her, and the mean way that Meg treats Paul, and that he is just so weak that he takes her abuse.
It was a silly pointless episode, but I thought that some parts were laugh out loud funny.

The special V-Day episode was interesting. I didn't hate it, didn't love it. Not sure I want to see something like it again but I applaud TPTB for taking a creative risk. Now if only they would put half as much effort in to the regular show and not these one-off specials, I think things would be better in Oakdale.
Also, I think the V-Day episode would have been good camp if it had been done as a musical, especially with the costumes.

I think my favorite was the one with Jack on the phone requesting choppers and he's not even done with the sentence when you hear them. Hee. Interesting commentary on the state of the show and it's [mis-]use of characters: 1000worlds.wordpress.com/2009/03/15/a-wobbly-world-pt1/I thought this part of the commentary was spot-on: I know that is something bitched about frequently with the focus on the plot driving the stories rather than the characters that often there is no rhyme or reason to characters behaviors throughout some of the storylines. ==== Also, the dankies have been announced. Do you agree with the winners from As The World Turns??: www.soapcentral.com/atwt/dankies.php?year=2009 .

How can someone think Roger Howarth is a better actor than Jon Hensley? I do not agree with all the results, but I do agree with the Ameera debacle being the least favorite storyline. ;D

Howdy, folks. This seems like as good a place as any to ask my question. After flying through the Nuke Youtube clips, I started trying to watch the full episodes. I enjoyed watching the other stories, but I found that I just didn't have the time to keep up with that much television. Once I found myself spending too much of my weekend doing a marathon of missed episodes, I finally gave up and went back to the clips.
But I did enjoy the other stories, and I'd like to try to keep up with them. (for example, it's driving me a little nuts to have never found out how Carly's engagement of convenience to Craig turned out). So this, finally, leads me to my question: is there somewhere on line that has some sort of summaries of the plots as they come out, that would allow me to keep up with the stories without having to devote such a large block of time?
I chose this thread because it involves trying to keep up with what's happening in the non-Nuke storylines.
