While I think Craig and his return has been handled well enough, I am having trouble buying the JP/K breakdown. I don't think that was written believably at all in comparison to what we know about both of the characters.

John Paul may end up with Craig, but seeing as what happens to Kieron, it's not like he has much choice, does he? It's not like the writers are going to allow for a love triangle, or give us a chance to see what could have happened if John Paul had to make a choice. Of course everyone will have their opinion of what would have happened, but we will never know. jp is in the same situation as Craig was last year everbody wants to see jp with k because that the right thing to do like craig with s but we know who craig choose last year and we know who jp will be at the end this year i hope i make sense

Today's clip is great. I love Myra telling John Paul to grow-up, and that he isn't experimenting anymore. I wonder if he will take her advice, and try to become more mature. Being with Kieron should have showed him what a relationship should be like, and how he should be treated. The ending was very sad, especially since it foreshadows what's about to happen.

Thanks Bonobochick for the feedback on posting. I’m trying to catch up. For the second to last episode, it’s kind of a funky reversal. It’s weird, but on this one, what got clearly more of my attention was the Dean family drama. I don’t know, it compels me more right now than JP/C or JP/K. JP/K are just uncomfortable to watch for me right now (no fault to the actors, of course), with their own version of “Indecision 2008”. And I enjoy Craig so much that – don’t throw things, McDeaners – I pretty much want Craig to leave JP and his own drama aside for a good while and just be himself again with friends, family, etc. Yeah, I know, real stretch here and very pointless considering what’s to come. All of a sudden I feel like JP would be (soon) bringing too much additional drama and baggage, while Craig unknowingly has his hands full already with his family’s closet skeletons. Although it is true that with the Stef-Niall spoilers, their family dramas will kind of intersect, and of course we have to whole Craig still being in love with JP bit. I guess it’s just all reminding me of Craig pre-JP and outside-of-the-JP-drama whose many good attributes unfortunately got so diluted during the JP/C storyline last year. I think having finally accepted his sexuality, he finally is able to be who he always was/should be on all fronts. It finally shines through again. He was very often one to care for his family deeply, to be a good friend and a too-good boyfriend before all the drama last year. I just re-watched a couple of clips from before, and he suddenly doesn’t sound or look so foreign. I’m getting really excited to see him in the Late Night. The very latest episode is just like watching a train wreck, knowing exactly where it’s headed and yet feeling odd goosebumps. And, no ill intention towards other soaps, but I can’t say how much respect I have for the actors of this soap.

Macari - I'm in agreement with you, especially in regards to (spoiler being talked about in white) Craig leaving town, never knowing that Jack is still alive?! Does he even try to see Jake in the hospital? Yes, it seems like Frankie and Steph, don't act like they want him around, but wouldn't you, as a brother and son want to show that, you can be somewhat of a comfort to your family? Especially after being away for more than 10 months? Who cares what your step-brother is telling you? Shouldn't you be there in support, because you want to be there? Not because you're asked, but because you can? I hope something is resolved for this family's storyline during the LNHO.Yes, it's going to be a train wreck, but I'll have my seat belt on for it. I know that I'm not going to enjoy MOST of what's going on, but my love for what Jake, Barry, Guy and James (especially him) are going to do with what's been given to them, has made me realize that we, as viewers, have been blessed by all of their performances. I'm really going to miss seeing them.

He is just so sweet. It's so nice that he tried to lighten the mood, given what happens in today's episode.

It makes perfect sense that this particular episode should be about Kieron and Niall.

Yup. We all have different perceptions.
Bravo to Barry Sloane and Jake Hendriks. Well done.

Thoughts on part 1 of gaydaytime.blogspot.com/2008/09/hollyoaks-05-09-2008.html : Niall is like a cornered animal when Kieron told him he knew the truth. It's crazy and Barry Sloane was phenomenal in conveying that sociopathic anger. Kieron was doing his usual best to try to counsel someone in need but he didn't realize how off Niall is about being given up for adoption. Well done by Barry and Jake. Craig showed hints of his old self when he got on JP about sparing him 10 minutes for a drink but I guess he has a lot to get off his chest before he leaves. So Craig dated a girl for 6 months in Dublin. Guess I was wrong that Frankie's comment a few months ago may have meant him dating men while in Dublin. At least Craig realized & accepted that he wasn't interested in sex with women anymore and that he is still in love with John Paul. Now I wait for part 2...

I want to go to sleep, but I'm still waiting for part 2... (Even though I'm sure it won't give me sweet dreams.)

I think my hart just broke... Gosh, that was the best acting I've seen in a long time. I knew what was coming and I still cried...

Amber, so it was good for you? Did you focus on JP/Craig and their reunion sex?
