I know I' ll get myself into deep trouble still, I have to say that IMHO (hoping that is short for in my humble - let's make it very very humble opinion) Fabian wasn't that bad really - maybe it's his lips - he always looks as he was pouting a bit and when he really is it tends to be a bit too much. He did see reason after all - he was just a bit sad that he couldn't kiss in public and then Oli answered (in a really cute and also a bit sad way) something like "Who are you telling..." and then Fabian realized that Oli is in exactly the same situation. And I just loved it that Oli thought of something (whether it is romantic or not seems still to be debated ) to help Fabian make up with Judith. So sweet of him and so very in character. Btw, has anybody noticed that since Oli moved into the flatshare we have seen nobody else doing the shopping?

Ok, I've seen the episode. I still need to watch it subtitled, but I could figure out as well that Fabian is really unbearable! And Olli was "olliest" than ever! Don't ask me what "olly" means, it's the same as "smurfy" for the Smurfs. ;D Can someone kindly tell me how a laptop can project images on a wall? I didn't see any other device on the table.. And what about Chris kissing Judith at the very end? Terrible!

I like to think I am a romantic but that Don Ho playing along with the tropical theme when Judith walked in at the end with the was just too VELVEETA for me. The sentiment was nice but I actually cracked up at my desk when it happened. And not in the best way. I think the Don Ho took it to high cheddar levels. But the thought was sweet considering what a whiny brat Fabian had been all day (not just about his plans with Judith going down the dain but then chattin Miriam up later on). I get what you mean. Instead, YAY! for "Chasing pavements"!!!

And was that Axel calling Judith "Schnecke"? Ever since I started these translations I've been wondering why German use animals and Americans food for their endearments? If some guy called me my boyfriend's "Schnecke" (snail) he'd be in serious trouble. I think it's short for "Zuckerschnecke" which is some sort of sweet cake - but if there 's any other idea I'stand to be corrected! So it wouldn't exactly be "snail" still it's just the sort of expression someone like Axel or Wolle would use so I wouldn't be overly enthusiastic being called "Schnecke" either .... .

Yeah, there's a small projector on the table. I do wonder if it's something he borrowed from No Limits. It's not like any of the people in the flat have a need for the latest in digital projectors. Yeah, don't go overboard, or Christian and Judith will have a couple of very disgruntled guys on their hands! I suppose that Christian could just tell Olli he needs to practice his anatomy identification again. ;D

ETA: Oh, Aldebaran, that's just what I needed. That along with talking to my own halunke has perked me up considerably. Many kisses to you. How sad that I could totally remember that episode is the last time Gregor wore that red shirt? Glad to have done today's good deed! ;D

Fabian didn't bother me either. I'm glad that somebody is annoyed by the beard scheme. Though Fabian's fuse really does seem extremely short in that regard.
I still kinda wish Olli wouldn't be so understanding about the kissing. Yeeah, yeah, the whole thing was his idea but couldn't he say something like "Okay, I get it, it was my idea, but do you absolutely have to kiss her?" or "Handholding! I said handholding!".
Axel was particularly stalkerific today ;D

Anybody explain to me about Don Ho and the high cheddar levels - pleeaaaaaaseeeeeee! Does it mean that it was a bit over the top - like they were being carried away and overdid it?

ETA: For some strange reason it's called a "Beamer" in German. How funny. I'll have to remember that. I've always gotten a chuckle out of the Norwegian word for "pencil sharpener" too. It's literally "pencil eater." Which I've long thought is more accurate than sharpener, especially in any classroom in any school I've ever been in.

Anybody explain to me about Don Ho and the high cheddar levels - pleeaaaaaaseeeeeee! Does it mean that it was a bit over the top - like they were being carried away and overdid it? That was me! I felt it was too cutesy. Es tut mir leid!! Like they were going for sweet and romantic and instead it was too sugary and silly IMO. That's what I meant by velveeta and high cheddar levels. I think the sentiment behind the party with the PowerPoint was sweet but the end result with the Don Ho song just made me laugh instead of going "aaaawww, how sweet/romantic". I am not above geeky things, hell I dated a guy for four years who was a chemical engineer so I totally speak geek Star Trek, Doctor Who, and Star Wars, but it was too... much. Obviously, others might feel differently. For me, the end result just didn't totally work but I still appreciate the thought behind it. I have issues with Fabian's behavior. Not in that he doesn't like the bearding... I get that and totally understand why he's not thrilled... it's how he's handling the situation that just comes across as very whiny and immature to me. Chatting up Miriam didn't help! Olli was awesome today. And it was cute that Christian totally kissed him after the anatomy lesson. Nanna or anyone else with the skills, any chance you can squeeze out another cap or three of Gregor today?

That's what I meant by velveeta and high cheddar levels. Thank you - that's what I thought. The German word for it would be "schmalzig" Schmalz being some kind of fat. No need to apologize though- always happy to learn! And yes - I have to admit it was quite funny. Still I got the feeling it wasn't meant to be in - how does "LolaRuns" call it -soap reality-. Or maybe Judith thought the same as you: the very idea counts after all. Well, Axel was quite impressed as well. What do we have to make of that? That Axel really knows what women want? ;D Or even worse - that Oli and Axel have the same taste in romantic situations? Seems like I'm feeling a bit reckless tonight - only joking folks! Axel probably thought that Christian tried to impress Judith so that he would have lots of great sex afterwards ... .

I still remember his level of fail (or whatever that device is called... am brainfarting at the moment and can't remember) and the box of poetry attempts. It's always like he's trying and it never works out and she always has to go the extra mile for him, which annoys me more so when she should have chosen Constantin who can do everything she wants that is romantic. Axel makes me think of the men who brag about their sexual prowess but either lasts a minute in a half in the sack while fucking like a jackrabbit or hasn't any idea of what foreplay is. You know he is just one of those men.

Or maybe Judith thought the same as you: the very idea counts after all. . Have to quote myself as I was absolutely wrong there - it was meant to be as "velveta" as could be! I can see that now. Judith loves "Kitsch" ("high cheddar levels") - she said as much when they were talking about which film she would like to watch and Fabian replied he wouldn't mind and still go with her (meaning he loves her so much he'd do almost anything for her;)) and if it got too bad he could always put some popcorn into his ears. So Oli did have the right idea as far as Judith (not necessarily anybody else!) was concerned. I must admit I was a bit puzzled as I had the strong feeling that Fabian was only going along with everything Oli suggested ...!

I really like the purple shirt (and of course the red), but my favorite is the turquoise. Sigh. I don't mind the music and projector and stuff because it is just so Fabian. If it had been more romantic it would have been out of character. Yeah, it was Olli's idea, but he reads people so well he would know exactly what would be right for Fabian. Besides, I think he's saving the really romantic stuff for Christian. And the anatomy lesson (with kiss.)

If some guy called me my boyfriend's "Schnecke" (snail) he'd be in serious trouble. When I was in primary school, I had a friend named Debbie Schnecke... Only it was pronounced SKANK--so compared to what I heard a snail would have been complimentary!

The turquoise is lovely... all the shirts are lovely on him, even the yellow and the pink, but the red is just I don't know if Olli's saving the really romantic stuff for Christian. I think Christian's got a different idea of what's romantic, so what works for Judith I don't think works for Christian. YMMV. Personally, I don't get how Judith could easily forget that Constantin named a star after her! And the heart by candlelight was just . And Judith's rejection of Consti is another reason why I am pro Olivia/Constantin as I think Judith blew it and doesn't deserve Consti plus I like the sparks between the second C/O duo. Everything Constantin did for Judith I thought rocked but Fabian's feeble attempts at romance, and this luau in the apartment he didn't even think of but rather Olli did & Fabian just reaped the benefits, just leave me meh. . Just not what I consider romantic especially since Fabian even fails at his attempts.

I <3 Nanna!!! :-)Thanks for doing this for us and even doing the caps.
Uh, and Olli's gotten laid... good for him ;D Heee! ;D Good one! Thanks for the caps and the YouTube clip. It was certainly different, and I didn't like Christian kissing Judith at the end.

Axel makes me think of the men who brag about their sexual prowess but either lasts a minute in a half in the sack while fucking like a jackrabbit or hasn't any idea of what foreplay is. You know he is just one of those men. Axel strikes me as being like one of those funny car hot rods they have at those racing shows. 30 seconds of incredible acceleration and then it runs out of gas and basically coasts to a stop. I doubt he's had a satisfied girlfriend in his entire life. Now, I know I may seem like a prude and call but... do German people have no shame?!?!I mean come on! Fabian and Judith are sitting there making out and Olli and Christian are kind of just hanging out right behind them...Olli with no shirt on!!!! (Not that I have any problem with Olli's bare chest, oh no) Next thing you know Olli and Christian are starting to go at it too! I appreciate that they're all young people, but as we've already established the flatshare has seemingly infinite rooms and corridors, some of which may actually lead to places like Narnia or Cittágazze! It's not like everyone doesn't have a private space (or otherdimensional realm) they can retreat to for voyeurism-free nookie. Or is this a Teutonic exhibitionism thing like all the bare-breasted women at the hotel pool in the Frankfurt Sheraton? Maybe they should have just invited Axel in for a five-way? If just one more female, such as Lydia, had been there too I bet for sure he would have. This brings to mind one of the early DeRo clips where they were making out with Deniz's father and other people like in the same room. All I could think was how even straight teenagers in America are generally hesitant to suck face within visual range of their parents. Then there was the whole making out in the spa pool thing. It left me thinking that I'm clearly not going to the right gym. Maybe I'm really just an American Puritan?

Wouldn't be too concerned about the kiss right now, after all Christian has just declared his love to Judith - at least that's what Axel thinks and Judith said as well that she loves Christian, so a little kiss just for the benefit of the watching Axel would be only natural. I can't say I'm keen on watching Judith and Christian kiss, I'd rather see more of Oli and Christian kissing, of course. Just that I am not really worried so far. As long as Judith doesn't kiss Oli - I don't know exactly why, I'd be much more concerned if that happened- no matter what the reason might be. But then of course, we all know that everybody kissing Oli will fall in love with him instantly ...;-)
